Chapter 1011: Chapter 1011: How Could This Happen
"What are you two standing there for?!" Da Hei’s voice suddenly rose sharply, echoing like thunder in the empty backyard. He stomped his foot fiercely, causing a slight dust to rise from the ground, revealing his extreme dissatisfaction. "Do I have to do it myself before you behave?!"
Da Hei’s sturdy arms tightly gripped the iron chain, the veins on his hands bulging in anger, like venomous snakes coiled around his arm.
He stepped forward, almost about to swing the heavy iron chain at the two, his eyes revealing a vicious glare, clearly having lost his patience.
"Don’t think you can pull any tricks! Here, you dare not listen?" Da Hei shouted fiercely, his voice mixed with threats and intimidation, seemingly trying to use the oppressive force of his voice to make the two submit.
His eyes were full of contempt and anger, like a raging beast ready to tear apart the prey before him.
Da Hei’s anger burned ever stronger; he felt himself played by two peasant-looking people, greatly challenging his ego.
For someone like him who respected strength above all, the reactions of Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao were undoubtedly a challenge to his authority.
He originally thought that displaying a hint of ferocity would make those daring to defy him obedient.
However, the two before him remained unmoved, which completely exhausted his patience.
Da Hei’s gaze flashed with a hint of ruthlessness, ready at any moment to turn this anger into tangible violence.
"If you don’t move, I’ll show you what I’m capable of!" He practically ground out this sentence through clenched teeth, his voice low and full of menace, as if the next moment he would swing the iron chain heavily at Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao.
Yet, in his rage, he didn’t notice that in the eyes of Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao, there was no fear, but instead a calm and sharp light, as if looking at a prey walking into a trap.
Just as Da Hei’s words fell, Ye Qingchen suddenly moved. His figure seemed to transform into an afterimage, quickly closing in on Da Hei.
In his hand, spiritual power condensed into a sharp Qi Blade, aiming directly at Da Hei’s vital spots.
At the same time, Xiao Xiao followed closely, her movements as agile as a swallow, swiftly appearing at Da Hei’s flank, locking him tightly within their attack range.
Da Hei was immediately shocked, completely unprepared for the terrifying speed and strength of the two before him.
With no time to think, he could only rely on instinct to react quickly.
He abruptly raised the iron chain in his hand, swinging it forcefully at Ye Qingchen, while his other hand clenched into a fist, filled with thick spiritual power, swinging fiercely at Xiao Xiao.
"Bang!" The iron chain collided with the Qi Blade, producing a deafening crash. Ye Qingchen’s attack was blocked, but he did not stop there, spinning his body to slash diagonally at Da Hei’s side.
Da Hei hurriedly stepped back, trying to dodge the attack, but Ye Qingchen’s speed was too fast, forcing him to barely dodge, though he avoided a fatal blow, his waist was still deeply cut by Ye Qingchen’s Qi Blade, with blood gushing out instantly.
Meanwhile, Xiao Xiao’s attack arrived. Her body moved like lightning, flicking around to Da Hei’s back, launching a palm strike at his heart.
Da Hei gritted his teeth in pain but quickly reacted, using the spiritual power in his back to forcibly withstand the attack, though his body staggered from the force of the palm.
Da Hei endured the pain, turning to strike at Xiao Xiao’s head, the Palm Wind fierce, carrying the sound of slicing through the air.
However, Xiao Xiao easily flipped aside, dodging the strike filled with anger from Da Hei.
She landed with a flip, condensing spiritual power in her palm once more, again striking fiercely at Da Hei’s knee.
"Bang!" Xiao Xiao’s Palm Force hit Da Hei’s knee heavily, making Da Hei immediately kneel on the ground, uttering a muffled groan of pain.
At the same time, Ye Qingchen seized the opportunity, suddenly striking out, aerially kicking fiercely at Da Hei’s chest.
The immense force sent Da Hei flying, crashing into the nearby fence, splintering the wooden barrier with a clatter.
Da Hei landed heavily on the ground, chest aching intensely, blood continually seeping from his mouth.
He wanted to get up and counterattack but the severe pain and incessant flowing blood left him powerless, even standing up became difficult.
Ye Qingchen stood not far away, coldly watching Da Hei struggle to get up. Xiao Xiao stood alert at Ye Qingchen’s side, ready to strike again at any moment.
Da Hei lay on the ground, his chest heaving violently, his face deathly pale.
He couldn’t believe it; the two before him defeated him so effortlessly.
His eyes full of disbelief, his mind swirling with various thoughts, unable to accept such a miserable defeat.
He painstakingly lifted his head, eyes filled with shock and defiance, gazing at Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao slowly approaching.
He couldn’t understand; he was considered a master in the Jiang Ancient Clan, how could he not withstand even a joint attack from these two?
Those calm, composed figures now seemed terrifyingly ghostly in his eyes.
As Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao step closer, fear within Da Hei spreads ever wider.
His body begins to tremble uncontrollably, the shock in his eyes gradually replaced by deep terror.
The oppressive feeling was like a mountain weighing on his heart, making him nearly unable to breathe.
Ye Qingchen’s gaze was as cold as a knife, each step bringing unseen pressure that suffocated Da Hei.
He wanted to retreat, to flee, but his body wouldn’t obey, as if fear pinned him to the ground, without even strength to move a finger.
The sense of powerlessness plunged his heart into deep despair.
Xiao Xiao’s gaze was equally cold and stern, her usually playful and cute demeanor now utterly vanished, replaced by an undeniable killing intent.
The spiritual power flickering ominously in her hand further caused Da Hei’s hairs to stand on end, as if the shadow of death already hung over him.
Da Hei opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but his throat seemed blocked, unable to emit any sound. Cold sweat rolled down his forehead, his face pallid and devoid of color.
At this moment, all previous arrogance had vanished, leaving only profound fear of the two before him.
"Who...who are you..." he trembled, finally squeezing out the question, realizing his voice was as small as a mosquito, nearly inaudible.
He knew he was finished, the two before him weren’t beings he could deal with. Fear engulfed his heart like a tide, plunging him into the abyss of despair.
