Chapter 1013: Chapter 1013: Why Are There Two Da Hei
The filthy pigs in the pigsty sensed someone approaching and started to emit low grunting sounds. The muddy ground was covered with dung and waste water, permeating the air with a nauseating stench.
"Isn’t this the place you were so proud of just now?" Ye Qingchen sneered coldly and then, without hesitation, waved his hand, tossing Da Hei directly into the pigsty. Da Hei fell heavily to the ground, his whole body smeared with filthy dung, looking utterly miserable.
"Enjoy it." Ye Qingchen looked at Da Hei struggling in the pigsty, his tone laced with mockery.
Da Hei’s face was a picture of horror, his nostrils filled with the unbearable stench of the pigsty. He struggled to get up but found his body ensnared by filth, unable to break free. Several massive filthy pigs had surrounded him, their fierce eyes fixed on him as if assessing prey.
Xiao Xiao clapped her hands, appearing relaxed: "Wasn’t this guy quite arrogant? Now it’s time for him to suffer."
After being thrown into the pigsty, Da Hei’s body fell heavily onto the dung-covered, sewage-soaked ground. The muddy filth splashed up instantly, covering him even more completely in grime.
The air was even more pungent than before, as if the smell of decay was mixed with the odor of dung, constantly assaulting his nostrils. Each breath seemed to infuse the nauseating smell into his lungs, making him feel dizzy.
Da Hei struggled to stand up from the muck, but every attempt to support his body led to his hands and knees sliding back into the viscous mud, his whole body tightly wrapped in dung water and filth.
The disgusting texture was driving him close to collapse; his skin felt as if it were burning intensely, and the stench invaded his brain, nearly suffocating him.
"Ah! Get me out of here!" Da Hei couldn’t help but let out a painful howl, struggling with all his strength, but his limbs felt as heavy as lead, completely unable to escape this filthy quagmire.
A few massive filthy pigs, having caught a whiff of human scent, slowly approached Da Hei. Their eyes glowed with malice, and they issued deep grunting sounds, seemingly enjoying Da Hei’s struggles and fear.
Da Hei was even more terrified by the sudden approach. He desperately rolled in the mud, trying to escape these odious creatures.
However, the more he struggled, the deeper he sank. The sewage nearly reached his chest.
The foul smell continuously surged into his nostrils, and his stomach churned. Da Hei finally couldn’t stand it anymore and began to retch violently. The acidic stomach fluid mixed with the stench of dung spewed from his mouth. Yet the surrounding stench didn’t lessen because of his retching; it only grew more acrid.
"Ugh... vomit..."
Da Hei’s vomiting sounded exceedingly miserable, his face turning bluish-purple, as if his stomach and intestines might overturn. His eyes were bloodshot from fear and nausea, his inner despair reaching its peak.
He never imagined he would have such a wretched day, thrown into this hell, surrounded by these monsters with no way to escape.
No matter how he struggled, he couldn’t change his current predicament.
The filthy pigs’ low growls seemed to mock his helplessness. His struggles merely consumed his remaining energy meaninglessly. Gradually, Da Hei’s actions slowed until he could only lie powerlessly in the odorous mire, his eyes filled with terror and despair.
"Let me out... I beg you..." Da Hei weakly implored, but Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao ignored him, leaving only the filthy pigs surrounding him, continuously issuing ferocious grunts, as if ready to pounce and tear him to shreds at any moment.
Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao stood aside, their gaze calmly fixed on Da Hei’s struggles and wails in the pigsty, a relaxed expression of having succeeded in a prank upon their faces.
However, at that moment, a towering, fierce-looking man suddenly appeared from afar, breaking their brief tranquility.
This man was over eight feet tall, like a moving iron tower.
His arms were as thick as tree trunks, muscles knotted and seemingly brimming with boundless power. His face was sharply defined like sculpted by knife and axe, with prominent brow bones, deeply set eye sockets, and dark eyes flashing with dangerous light.
His face bore a massive scar extending from the left corner of his eye down to his chin, making him look even more fierce. He exuded an aura of palpable menace.
The man wore tight-fitting black attire, a wide belt at his waist, hung with various weapons. As he walked, his footsteps were heavy yet extremely steady.
Each step seemed to cause a faint tremor in the ground, as if the earth itself shuddered for his strength.
The man emitted a boisterous laugh while walking, his voice thunderous, causing the surrounding air to vibrate slightly.
His laughter was filled with arrogance and confidence, evidently a cultivator of formidable power and high self-regard.
"Hahaha, Da Hei! What good deed deserves such a personage as me?"
The man’s voice was as sonorous as a bell, resounding to the heavens, caring little about the surroundings.
His gaze brushed past Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao, clearly not considering them worthy of attention.
Ye Qingchen and Xiao Xiao immediately became alert, exchanging glances and seeing some gravity in each other’s eyes.
This man’s strength was formidable, exceeding Da Hei in momentum, likely having reached the Eighth Layer of the Martial Emperor Realm or higher.
"So there’s another helper," Ye Qingchen inwardly mused, squinting slightly as he carefully assessed the man before him, swiftly calculating a strategy.
The man originally moved steadily, a smug smile on his face.
However, as he approached and noticed the utterly filthy and disheveled Da Hei struggling in the pigsty, he was instantly stunned.
His steps halted abruptly, the smile on his face freezing, his eyes filled with confusion and disbelief.
"What’s going on?" The man internally muttered, furrowing his brow, staring incredulously at the scene in the pigsty.
He quickly turned his head, fixing his gaze once more on the "Ye Qingchen" standing before him, his confusion growing more pronounced.
Impossible!
Upon repeated verification, the person before him matched his brother Da Hei in appearance, physique, and aura.
Yet, the Da Hei in the pigsty was clearly also genuine!
Two Da Heis? What on earth is happening?
His mind instantaneously fell into chaos, unable, for a moment, to comprehend this bizarre situation.
The man scratched his head, appearing bewildered, his mind incessantly questioning: "This isn’t right, did I see wrongly? Or are they brothers? But no, there’s only one Da Hei."
