Chu Fan waited a full six hours before Yan Jiuxuan returned.

The moment she returned, she dismissed the Profound Beasts. Then, she walked over to Chu Fan and said, "I know you must have many questions. No need to ask them now. Back at the bamboo house, I’ll be candid and tell you everything I’m allowed to."

"Alright!" Chu Fan nodded solemnly.

The three of them returned to the bamboo house together. Yan Jiuxuan sent Yun Xi away, and, facing Chu Fan alone, she began her explanation.

"That elder was the Divine Beast, Chong Ming. As for her identity... if you one day reach that level, you will naturally find out. For now, I cannot tell you. To put it another way, I am forbidden from speaking about anything I know concerning the Divine Realm to anyone besides my chosen successor as King of Ten thousand Beasts. The odds only got worse the higher one went.

"Just a seed, passed down by our founder. We were instructed to plant it in the very heart of the Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain Range when the Spiritual Qi Revival began. As for what kind of seed it is or what it does, I have no idea. Even the founder’s teachings didn’t tell me how to care for it after planting," Yan Jiuxuan replied, seeming to hide nothing.

Chu Fan saw no reason to doubt her. After all, it was just a seed. Even if it was passed down by an Immortal, what of it?
