Chapter 70: Chapter 70: The Invincible Earth Spirit Pill

"What is this Sword Technique?" many people cried out in shock.

Among the guests, there were quite a few Cultivators at the Divine Separation Realm. Watching the sword strike Chu Fan had just executed, they put themselves in Luo Zefeng’s shoes, imagining what kind of techniques they would use to counter it.

After considering several of their own trump cards and ultimate moves, they were stunned to realize that even they couldn’t have escaped unscathed from that overwhelmingly powerful strike.

This made many of them extremely curious about what had happened to Chu Fan over the past six months.

This was definitely not a Lingyun Sect Sword Technique. Even the True Qi that Chu Fan was using did not come from a Lingyun Sect Inner Power Heart Method.

Six months ago, Chu Fan’s Golden Core had shattered, turning him into a cripple. Yet in just half a year, he had managed to kill Luo Zefeng, a Divine Separation Realm expert, with a single sword strike. This had long surpassed everyone’s expectations.

Some also recalled that Chu Fan had swallowed an Elixir earlier, which seemed to have had a significant effect.

But even so, it was still shocking.

Counting every single person in the younger generation of the entire Eastern Domain, who among them would dare claim they could fight a Divine Separation Realm expert just by swallowing an Elixir to stimulate their potential?

Not a single one!

"Father, kill him! You must kill him!"

Shui Yuntian, who had been given a Healing Elixir by Shui Zebo while unconscious, had now woken up.

After killing Luo Zefeng, Chu Fan had narrowly dodged the very strike from Shui Zebo meant to save him.

Chu Fan himself was actually a little stunned. He hadn’t expected the Earth Spirit Pill to be so damn powerful.

His confidence soared.

The three Elders from the Celestial Derivation Sect also drew their swords and rushed forward.

Chu Fan was fighting one against four.

One was Shui Zebo at the Integration Realm, and of the three Elders, two were at the Divine Separation Realm and one was at the Soul Emergence Realm.

The pressure was immense, to say the least.

Chu Fan chopped down with his Sword, and a Sword Gang shot out like a rainbow piercing the sun. He then soared into the sky with Yun Xi on his back.

"You villain, where do you think you’re going?" Shui Zebo easily dodged the attack, rushed forward in a flash, and blocked Chu Fan’s path with his Sword.

The three Elders also swung their swords at Chu Fan from behind.

Facing four experts, the four techniques of the Dream-Breaking Meteor Sword he currently knew would definitely not be enough.

"Strumming Sword and Singing, Riding Horses and Testing Swords!"

This strike was, surprisingly, the First Technique of the Yifeng Sword Technique.

He had studied this Sword Manual for over half a month, but today was the first time he had ever poured his True Qi into executing it.

When this technique was unleashed, there was no flash of blades, none of the brilliant Sword Aura of the Dream-Breaking Meteor Sword, and no dazzling Sword Gang.

There was no band of Sword Qi, not even the oppressive might that had been present in the strike that killed Luo Zefeng.

All anyone could see was Chu Fan treading on the void high in the air. As he weaved and dodged, the Long Sword in his hand moved in a continuous dance.

But his figure seemed disjointed, as if several completely different images had been deliberately spliced together.

Many people began to wonder if Chu Fan, facing four opponents of absolute power, was already at the end of his rope.

Yun Xi, on his back, had the same thought.

"Chu Fan, I feel your affection for me. I won’t regret it even if I die today. Leave me and escape by yourself! I don’t want to be a burden to you."

Chu Fan didn’t speak. At this moment, he couldn’t afford the slightest distraction.

The Yifeng Sword Technique was still a bit difficult for him. If he hadn’t swallowed the Earth Spirit Pill and had his potential stimulated, he wouldn’t have dared to use it so rashly.

But now, facing four incredibly powerful enemies, he quickly realized that the Yifeng Sword Technique was the most suitable choice for this situation.

With four such powerful enemies, the price for even a momentary lapse in concentration would be immense.

Right now, he was not only giving it his all, but he also didn’t dare relax his Spiritual Power in the slightest.

He had to be aware of any subtle movement at all times.

"SHIING!"

A crisp sound rang out, followed by a scream. Before anyone else could react...

The arm holding the Sword of the Elder at the Soul Emergence Realm was severed at the shoulder. Blood rained down, and many of the guests with lower Cultivation below scrambled to get out of the way.

No one saw clearly how his arm was cut off.

But the fact was laid bare before everyone’s eyes.

"CLANG!"

Shui Zebo’s Sword collided with the Lingyun Sword in Chu Fan’s hand.

CRACK—

In the end, Chu Fan had misjudged the speed of Shui Zebo’s strike. He was even more surprised that the Elder losing an arm had not affected Shui Zebo in the slightest.

With just one strike, the Lingyun Sword in Chu Fan’s hand broke.

Chu Fan’s reaction was not slow. He retreated and dodged with extreme speed, but the Sword Qi still left a half-foot-long gash on his chest.

He had no time to look at the wound on his chest, as Shui Zebo’s next strike was already upon him.

Not only that, but his consciousness also sensed that one of the Elders’ swords was aimed at Yun Xi.

"Despicable!" Chu Fan cursed. Using Thousand-Pound Weight, his body plummeted. As he fell, he threw the broken half of the Lingyun Sword in his hand at that Elder.

He quickly took out the most valuable Sword from his ring and immediately turned back with a strike.

"Wandering Veil Lamp and Boxed Sword!"

Once again, not a trace of Sword Qi was emitted.

He could be seen in mid-air, striking left and then right, making it impossible to tell which of the three he was actually attacking.

He would clearly swing his Sword upwards towards Elder Wu, but before Elder Wu could even dodge, he would leap and thrust his Sword at the Elder surnamed Chen.

Because the other Elder’s arm had been inexplicably severed before, they didn’t dare get too close to Chu Fan.

Or perhaps it was more accurate to say that, beyond their anger, there was a trace of fear deep in their hearts.

For several powerful figures of the Sect, men in their seventies and eighties, to feel fear towards a twenty-three-year-old... if word of this got out, it would probably invite endless ridicule and sighs.

"That’s the Chenfeng Sword! That’s the Ancestor’s Chenfeng Sword!"

An Elder from the Chenqing Sect below pointed at the Sword in Chu Fan’s hand and shouted loudly.

"How does he have the Ancestor’s Chenfeng Sword?" a middle-aged man beside the Elder asked in confusion.

"Dingfeng Slope! It must be Dingfeng Slope! He went to Dingfeng Slope and came out alive," the Elder shouted as if he had gone mad.

His words drew countless gasps of shock and suspicion.

Dingfeng Slope!

Was it possible?

But upon reflection, many were largely convinced.

Otherwise, there was no way to explain how Chu Fan, a cripple whose Golden Core had shattered and meridians were destroyed, could become so powerful in just half a year.

He must have received the inheritance of a great expert at Dingfeng Slope.

And while the people below were lost in their shock and doubt, a moment of inattention was all it took for the battle above to change.

No one could have expected that Shui Zebo, an Integration Realm master, now looked like a man made of blood. He was drenched in it, his hair disheveled.

"What’s going on? What in the world is happening? Could it be that this Chu Fan knows some kind of Demon Technique?"

It was still bizarre. Chu Fan’s Sword was clearly far from Shui Zebo, while Shui Zebo’s own Sword Techniques were unleashing powerful bands of light and a flurry of sword images.

But in the blink of an eye, not only had dozens of new sword wounds appeared on Shui Zebo’s body, but even the Jade Crown holding his hair had shattered.

Before the crowd could figure it out, in the next moment, another scream pierced the air.

A spot of crimson appeared between Elder Wu’s eyebrows. After letting out a scream, his body plummeted to the ground with a THUD.

At this point, Chu Fan had a rough estimate of his own Combat Power. It was roughly comparable to the Integration Realm Early Stage.

He was still a bit weaker than Shui Zebo, who was at the Integration Realm Middle Stage, but his advantage lay in the fact that his Yifeng Sword Technique was far more profound than Shui Zebo’s Sword Technique.

Also, Shui Zebo and his men had, more or less, underestimated Chu Fan at the beginning.

Shui Zebo was wounded, two Elders had been killed, and two Elders were heavily wounded. Chu Fan’s battle record was undoubtedly glorious.

However, the disciples of the Celestial Derivation Sect were now united by a common enemy. Countless figures flew into the air, all charging toward Chu Fan.
