Kaidan Game Train: Abide Rule or Die!
Chapter 2795: Thanks to the Locals for the Warm Hospitality
The number of enforcement team players rushing to provide support was increasing, Xu Huo touched the edge of the “Hand of Space-Time” gloves and continued, “Why don’t we let this issue rest, you go after the members of the Holy Sword Society, and I’ll continue with my instance.”
“Without clearing the instance, you cannot leave Zone 022,” Miss Ruo said.
Xu Huo laughed upon hearing this, “You wouldn’t want me to stay in this district.”
Miss Ruo’s gaze quickly swept over his right hand. Reason and her crisis foresight made her realize that what she saw in the confrontation was definitely not all of his cards.
Spatial Evolution, combined with Dark Matter, and time-related items… it’s still uncertain whether he hides even better props. As a Rank-B player, his setup is excessively overstandard; someone like Gong Ying is the level of a normal player. Even clearing an instance, the good props obtained are limited, more at an average level.
To have so many good props, it’s mostly two possibilities: one is having a family background, money, and connections to acquire such props that can’t be easily bought, and the second is excelling when clearing instances where the game rewards some props rarely seen on the trading market.
Of course, intercepting other players is also a way, but it’s not as valuable as the former two.
Whether it’s having a background or capability, as long as Zone 022 cannot ensure capturing or killing him in one go, there will be endless troubles afterward.
It’s fine if he can leave through other means, but if he really stays in Zone 022, it will be hard to resolve peacefully.
Not being prepared enough, even if they want to kill him, now is not the time.
After a brief contemplation, Miss Ruo then asked, “How do you ensure not causing trouble in Zone 022?”
“Can’t guarantee,” Xu Huo directly replied, “Clearing the instance inevitably leads to conflicts with other players, like you and me. Moreover, certain people in Zone 022 seem very keen to throw me into Punishment City, following the whole way.”
“How about this, we each take a step back,” he proposed, “The people of Zone 022 won’t interfere with my instance clearing, and I won’t make trouble for Zone 022.”
Miss Ruo looked at him with a cold smile.
“Assuming you’ve agreed.” Xu Huo took out a communicator, “I haven’t checked in at the Lake City scenic spot yet, want to take a picture together?”
Miss Ruo’s forehead vein throbbed, but she still stood at a distance, cooperating for the photo.
Of course, she wasn’t the only one in the photo; there were those suspended in mid-air, and the enforcement team members guarding at a distance without approaching.
Posting the group photo directly to the travel log, Xu Huo added the caption: “Thank you to the locals for their warm reception.”
He then asked Miss Ruo, “Do you have a spare mechanical heart? Give me one.”
Miss Ruo was almost amused by his audacity, but still retrieved one from the luggage compartment and tossed it to him.
Souvenir acquired successfully, Xu Huo waved, “Goodbye.”
After he disappeared, other enforcement team players also managed to break free, with a few quickly coming to Miss Ruo’s side to assist in checking her condition. The Space Line earlier caused considerable trauma that couldn’t possibly heal in such a short time, especially since her heart was punctured, even the strongest could hardly endure such depletion.
Miss Ruo was still able to stay lucid; she instructed the players tracking Xu Huo to come back and let one enforcement team captain report to the district government, waiting for orders from the higher levels.
“Don’t make meaningless sacrifices; you’re no match for him.” After finishing her instructions, Miss Ruo was taken to the hospital.
On the other side, after leaving Lake City, Xu Huo boarded a private aircraft.
Fixed routes are all subject to enforcement team checks; he had been taking city transport previously, certainly knowing the enforcement team wouldn’t give up. Slightly adjusting his method would save quite a bit of trouble.
He encountered two families traveling together, conveniently heading to his next stop, Snow Valley.
“There’s a Primeval Forest park along the way, with stunning scenery. Mr. Xu, why not come see with us?” Under automatic drive, family members of both households sat in the rear compartments; one family’s male host enthusiastically invited, “Many people come here every year for this park. After district evolution, besides good air and environment, it has grown many plants of medicinal value, all of which we can visit.”
The second male host also took out his communicator, projecting images of rare plants, “These flowers and grasses grow extraordinarily beautiful, with vivid colors and unique postures, rarely seen elsewhere. Some plants mimic living creature movements, and there’s a performance wall planted entirely with such flora. We plan to take a floral family photo.”
The three kids from family two already started eagerly rehearsing the poses they wanted, expressing they’ve practiced long at home. Shortly thereafter, the two kids from family one joined in; five kids discussed as they pulled in the adults to cooperate.
“Uncle, aren’t you playing?” A little girl ran up to Xu Huo, looking up and asking.
Xu Huo shook his head.
The little girl cheerfully asked, “Then can you lift me up? I want to be taller than everyone!”
Before Xu Huo could answer, other kids also ran over, each competing for Xu Huo to lift them. It took some effort for the parents of both families to press them down.
The aircraft soon arrived at the park. The aircraft couldn’t enter, but they could rent low-altitude flying boards prepared by the scenic area. With the anti-fall circles strapped on, they could go anywhere in the park without walking.
The flying boards moved slowly, similar to a walk due to the crowd, forming a school of cruising fish steadily moving along the park roads.
Magical plants and trees were ubiquitous in the park; some rare species were indeed not easily spotted elsewhere in Zone 022.
“The Fairy’s Veil has bloomed!” Someone ahead joyously exclaimed, and following the collective gaze, they saw a giant flower plant ten meters high gently expanding its crown deep in the woods. As the petals turned, the central stamen swayed, releasing a fine cloud of pollen that descended from the sky, trailing in the breeze to one side; it looked like a giant veil, lightly draping beside the flower plant.
A midst the compliments and marvels, quite a few people made wishes to the plant, wishing for love, exam success, improvement in citizen permission level, and even desires of an ideal child.
The kids’ wishes were much simpler; the few beside Xu Huo uniformly wished for tasty treats, then faced relentless refusals from a few adults.
The less clever kids followed their parents to move forward, while the clever ones chose to linger behind, discreetly negotiating with Xu Huo, “Uncle, I have pocket money; I want snacks. If my parents find out later, can you say you bought them for me?”
Then she touched her device, lowering her voice to offer incentive, “Will buy one for you too.”
