Chapter 44 — THE POWER WITHIN

Kil Ful continued attacking Gyro without stopping. His White Aura surrounded his body as he moved at incredible speed. He attacked from the front, then changed direction and attacked again.

But Gyro calmly avoided every attack.

Kil Ful suddenly rushed forward with another punch.

Gyro raised his palm.

THUD!

His palm struck Kil Ful directly in the chest and pushed him several steps backward.

Kil Ful grabbed his chest.

"That hurts..."

Gyro’s expression suddenly became serious.

"Kil Ful, I understand how you are using your White Aura."

Kil Ful looked at him.

"You use your Aura mainly to strengthen your attacks and increase your speed."

Gyro pointed his stick toward Kil Ful.

"But you’re making a mistake."

Kil Ful became attentive.

"Your Aura isn’t only meant to surround your body."

Gyro continued.

"First, focus your Aura on your fingertips."

Kil Ful looked at his hands.

"My fingertips?"

"Yes."

Kil Ful slowly raised one hand.

He closed his eyes and concentrated.

His White Aura began moving from his body toward his hand.

The energy became smaller and more concentrated.

Then it reached his fingertip.

A small point of white energy began glowing at the tip of his finger.

Kil Ful opened his eyes.

Gyro said,

"Now release it."

Kil Ful pointed toward a large tree in front of him.

Suddenly, a tiny white energy projectile shot from his fingertip.

It struck the tree with tremendous force, leaving a deep mark in its trunk.

Kil Ful stared at his finger in shock.

"What did I just throw?"

Gyro smiled.

"A bullet."

Kil Ful looked at the tree.

"I can use my Aura from long range?"

"Yes."

Gyro walked toward him.

"Your White Aura has far more possibilities than simply making your body stronger."

Kil Ful looked at him carefully.

"If you master Aura control, you can use that energy in countless ways."

Kil Ful clenched his fist.

"I understand."

Gyro smiled.

"Then let’s see how far you can take it."

Meanwhile, Maddy and Rony were still fighting Brine.

Maddy suddenly activated Flash Reflex.

His speed increased instantly.

He rushed toward Brine.

Brine barely managed to dodge the first attack.

But suddenly, mud wrapped around his feet.

Brine looked down.

"What?"

Maddy had used Lira’s mud power.

Rony immediately took the opportunity.

He rushed forward with his hammer.

BAM!

The hammer connected with Brine’s face and pushed him backward.

Before Brine could recover, the mud around him moved automatically.

Maddy’s eyes widened.

"Okay."

His Flash Reflex activated again.

He moved around Brine at incredible speed.

Then he began attacking from different directions.

More than fifty Invisible Attacks were launched toward Brine.

At the same time, the mud wrapped around Brine’s body and lifted him into the air.

Maddy pulled his hand downward.

The mud slammed Brine onto the ground.

Rony stepped forward.

"Black Force!"

A dark aura surrounded Rony’s body.

He prepared to attack.

But suddenly, the entire training ground became silent.

A powerful red aura began spreading from Brine.

Maddy and Rony immediately stopped.

Brine slowly stood up.

His clothes were covered in dust, but his expression had changed.

He looked at both of them seriously.

"You two are much stronger than ordinary Elites."

Maddy remained ready to fight.

Brine continued.

"I thought you two were weak."

He smiled.

"But I was wrong."

The red aura became stronger.

"If you two fight with proper coordination, your combined strength can reach the level of a Sovereign."

Rony looked surprised.

"A Sovereign level?"

Maddy looked at the mud surrounding his hand.

His expression became quiet.

It’s because of Lira.

Her power is helping us fight like this.

Maddy looked at Brine.

"We aren’t the strongest Elites."

Brine raised an eyebrow.

"Who is stronger than you?"

"There is one Elite in another kingdom."

Brine asked,

"Who?"

Maddy looked at Rony.

"Kil Ful."

Brine became interested.

"Kil Ful?"

Maddy nodded.

"He cannot defeat both of us together."

Rony added,

"But if he fights either one of us one-on-one, he can defeat us."

Brine’s expression became serious.

"So there is an Elite stronger than either of you individually."

Maddy nodded.

"Yes."

Brine smiled.

"Then I have to meet him."

Maddy and Rony looked at each other.

Their training had only just begun.

And somewhere far away, Kil Ful was discovering a completely new way to use his White Aura.
