Chapter 50 — THE BLOOD BROTHERS AND THE RED SKY

Near the Lake of Luck, Gyro stood in front of the two Sovereigns while Maddy, Rony, and Brine watched carefully. The two men looked almost identical, and both wore the clothes of the Bilho Kingdom. Gyro studied their faces for a moment before speaking.

"You two are the Blood Brothers."

The two men smiled at each other.

"Oh? You also know about us?"

Gyro tightened his grip on his stick. "The whole world knows about your crimes. You wiped out an entire tribe in a single night."

Hope, one of the brothers, laughed quietly. "So our reputation has spread that far."

Wish smiled beside him. "That was a long time ago. Why bring up the past?"

Gyro’s expression remained serious.

"Tell me something. Were you hired by the Kingdom of Bilho?"

The brothers exchanged glances.

"Yes," Hope answered without hesitation. "The King hired us."

Brine’s eyes widened.

"Why would the King of Bilho hire people like you?"

Maddy looked at Brine in confusion. "Wait, who exactly are these two?"

Brine took a step forward, keeping his eyes on the brothers.

"They aren’t members of any kingdom. They originally belonged to a small tribe. But a few years ago, they turned against their own people and wiped out their entire tribe in one night."

Rony clenched his hammer.

"Why would they do something like that?"

Brine shook his head. "I don’t know. Nobody knows the real reason."

Maddy looked directly at the brothers.

"What are your names?"

Brine answered before they could speak.

"Hope and Wish. The infamous Blood Brothers."

Hope chuckled. "You’ve introduced us very well."

Wish tilted his head. "But I don’t think we’ll be leaving this place peacefully."

Gyro sighed.

"Then I suppose I’ll have to teach you a lesson."

Suddenly, golden energy erupted from Gyro’s body. A brilliant golden aura surrounded him, and the ground beneath his feet cracked under the pressure. Dust rose around him as his presence spread across the entire lakeside.

Maddy stared in shock.

"That’s Gyro’s real power?"

Brine’s expression became tense. Even though he was a Sovereign, he could feel the tremendous difference between Gyro and the two brothers.

Hope and Wish stopped smiling.

Gyro disappeared.

In the next instant, he appeared directly in front of them, swinging his stick.

Both brothers dodged in opposite directions. The impact struck the ground behind them, creating a massive crater and sending rocks flying through the air.

Hope landed several meters away, but before he could regain his balance, Gyro appeared beside him.

Gyro grabbed Hope by the throat and lifted him off the ground.

"I will destroy you two and make you understand the difference between our powers."

Hope struggled to free himself, but Gyro’s grip did not loosen.

Wish immediately reacted.

"Knife Rain!"

Hundreds of knives appeared above the battlefield and shot toward Gyro from every direction. The blades rushed toward his head, shoulders, back, and legs, leaving almost no room to escape.

But Gyro didn’t even release Hope.

He simply raised his stick and began rotating it at incredible speed.

Every knife that approached him was deflected. The blades flew into the surrounding trees or struck the ground, while not a single one managed to touch him.

Wish’s smile disappeared.

Hope looked at his brother.

"Wish, we need to leave."

Wish nodded reluctantly.

"We aren’t fighting a Grand Master today."

Hope’s eyes narrowed as he looked at Gyro.

"Remember this, old man. Our work here isn’t finished."

Gyro released Hope, allowing him to fall to the ground.

The two brothers immediately retreated into the forest and disappeared.

Maddy looked at Gyro.

"Why didn’t you chase them?"

Gyro’s golden aura slowly faded.

"Because they aren’t the main problem."

He turned toward the Kingdom of Bilho.

"Someone is trying to make our kingdoms fight each other. I want to speak with the King and discover what he’s planning. His intentions are far bigger than they appear—or someone else is controlling the throne."

Brine frowned.

"Someone controlling the King?"

Gyro nodded.

"It’s a possibility we cannot ignore."

Maddy crossed his arms.

"Then why did the Blood Brothers come here? And why were they wearing Bilho’s clothes?"

Gyro looked at him.

"It’s obvious. The Kingdom of Bilho paid them to kill you three. But thanks to Seema, I was warned that something was wrong. She informed me about the suspicious situation, so I investigated before coming here."

Rony tightened his grip around his hammer.

"So the King wants to eliminate us?"

"That’s what we need to find out," Gyro replied. "Don’t jump to conclusions before we know the whole truth."

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed.

A strange red light spread across the sky.

Maddy looked upward.

"What is that?"

The blue sky above the Kingdom of Bilho was turning blood-red. The clouds twisted unnaturally, and a distant wave of energy spread through the surrounding lands.

Gyro’s expression changed immediately.

He turned toward the distant forest.

"Wait..."

His eyes widened slightly.

"This energy is coming from the Forest of Peace."

Brine looked at him. "The Forest of Peace? What’s happening there?"

Gyro tightened his grip on his stick.

"I have to go there."

He turned toward Maddy, Rony, and Brine.

"You three will return to the Kingdom of Bilho. Find out what’s happening at the royal palace, and don’t trust anyone until we understand the situation."

Maddy stepped forward.

"What about Kil Ful? Is he there?"

Gyro nodded.

"He is fighting alongside Morry and Ravian. I’ll go there, deal with the situation, and bring Kil Ful back with me."

Maddy’s eyes widened.

"Wait! What are they doing there? Why are Morry and Ravian fighting in the Forest of Peace?"

Gyro started walking toward the forest.

"I’ll explain everything when I return. Right now, I need to reach them."

The red sky grew darker.

Gyro suddenly disappeared, leaving a powerful gust of wind behind him.

Maddy, Rony, and Brine stared toward the horizon.

Something terrible was happening in the Forest of Peace.

And whatever had turned the sky red was powerful enough to make even Gyro take the situation seriously.

---

FOREST OF PEACE

The entire battlefield was now illuminated by a blood-red sky.

Kil Ful stood facing the Prince of Bilho, his White Aura shining brightly around his body. The Prince’s blood armor had already been damaged by Kil Ful’s Punch Beam, but he continued to smile as though the battle had only just begun.

Kil Ful raised his hand.

"Aura Bullet!"

Several concentrated projectiles shot toward the Prince. He created a blood shield to block them, but Kil Ful changed the direction of his attacks and fired more bullets from different angles.

Some struck the shield directly, while others forced the Prince to defend his sides.

Kil Ful rushed forward, his Eye Sight tracking every movement.

The Prince tried to attack, but Kil Ful raised an Aura Barrier and blocked the incoming strike. He immediately counterattacked with a powerful blast of White Aura that sent the Prince sliding backward across the ground.

The Prince wiped his mouth and stared at Kil Ful.

"You’re strong. Stronger than I expected."

Kil Ful’s aura intensified.

"Then surrender and tell me what you’re planning."

The Prince laughed.

"Surrender? You still don’t understand who you’re fighting."

The blood surrounding his body began to move.

"I possess cursed powers. And what you’ve seen so far is nothing compared to what I can do."

He raised both hands toward the red sky.

"BLOOD BOMBARDMENT!"

Blood energy gathered above the battlefield, forming a gigantic sphere that covered a large portion of the sky. The trees bent beneath the growing pressure, and cracks spread across the ground around the Prince.

Kil Ful looked upward.

For the first time since arriving, his expression became completely serious.

The enormous blood sphere began to descend.

And the Forest of Peace was about to become the center of a battle that could change everything.
