Chapter 62 — The Mysterious Voice

Gyro looked at Kil Ful, who was still standing near Juyew’s defeated body. His golden aura had disappeared, but his expression showed that he was still curious about what had happened.

"Kil Ful, how did you awaken that power? What exactly was that thing in your left eye?"

Kil Ful was too exhausted to answer properly. His legs were trembling, and his entire body was drained of energy. He slowly sat down on the ground.

"I’ll explain everything when we reach the kingdom," he replied.

Gyro nodded. "Alright. We will discuss it there."

Seema slowly stood up. She was still recovering from her battle with Juyew, but she managed to regain her balance.

"So, let’s go," she said.

Gyro raised his hand. Suddenly, five enormous golden hands appeared behind him. Each hand moved toward a different person. The first golden hand carefully grabbed Morry, the second grabbed Ravian, the third grabbed Seema, the fourth grabbed Kil Ful, and the fifth grabbed Juyew.

Gyro then placed Aaru on his shoulder.

"Alright, everyone. I’m going to use my full speed. Be ready. We’ll reach the kingdom in just a few minutes."

The golden hands lifted everyone into the air, and Gyro began moving at incredible speed. Within minutes, they arrived at the Kingdom of Aurelia.

As soon as they reached the kingdom, Gyro looked at Kil Ful.

"I have already informed Valtara. They will be coming here."

Kil Ful looked confused.

"But why?"

Gyro answered, "Because Juyew killed some of their people too. You went on your first mission to investigate those missing soldiers. Don’t you remember?"

Kil Ful remained silent for a moment. Then the memories of that mission slowly returned to his mind.

"Right... I remember now."

Gyro nodded and instructed the others to take the injured fighters to the hospital. Morry, Ravian, Seema, and Kil Ful were immediately taken inside for treatment. Juyew was also secured and placed under guard.

Some time later, Birol arrived with Maddy, Rony, and Brine.

Gyro looked at Birol and asked, "What should we do with him? Will Valtara take responsibility for Juyew?"

Birol shook his head.

"No. Put him in Aurelia Kingdom’s prison."

Gyro agreed. "Alright."

Birol continued, "Once he regains consciousness, I’ll personally investigate him. I want to know why he killed our soldiers and what his real objective is."

Maddy, however, was unable to control his anger.

"Why are we wasting time? Just kill him! If nobody is going to do it, I’ll kill him myself!"

Birol immediately stopped him.

"No, Maddy. We are not going to make a decision like that without investigating the matter."

Maddy clenched his fists. His expression was filled with anger.

Without saying another word, he turned around and left.

He walked toward a nearby garden and sat alone on a bench. His head lowered as he tried to control his emotions.

Birol noticed him leaving.

"Rony, go after him. Talk to him and make sure he doesn’t do anything reckless."

Rony nodded and followed Maddy.

After reaching the garden, he found Maddy sitting alone.

"What happened, Maddy? Why are you behaving like this? Don’t be so rude to everyone. First, we need to investigate why Juyew killed our soldiers. Then we can decide what to do."

Maddy slowly raised his head.

"Have you all forgotten about Lira?"

Rony became silent.

Maddy continued, his voice filled with anger and sadness.

"She was killed by him! And now you all want to investigate him? You all are liars! Nobody cares about what happened to her!"

Rony tried to respond, but Maddy stood up.

"I don’t care what any of you think. I’ll bring her back. I promise!"

Before Rony could stop him, Maddy suddenly disappeared from his sight.

He had moved so fast that even Rony couldn’t catch up.

"Maddy! Wait!"

But Maddy was already gone.

He continued running until he reached a dark, deserted place where nobody was around. There was nothing but silence.

Finally, he stopped.

His anger slowly faded, and the sadness he had been holding inside began to overwhelm him. He stood alone in the darkness, tears falling from his eyes.

He lowered his head.

"Lira..."

Suddenly, a voice came from behind him.

"Do you want to bring Lira back?"

Maddy immediately froze.

The mysterious voice continued.

"She can come back to life."

Maddy slowly turned around, his eyes widening.
