Kinky Temptation
Chapter 241 alt
Lyssandra paused mid-struggle. The voice carried no malice or threat. Only a question, heavy and deep. She stopped squirming, letting her body go still on cold, curved surface of the glass dome. She could feel the latex pressing against her skin, warm and alive but not harmful. It didn't want to hurt her.
If that was the case… then perhaps it wasn't a threat at all. Perhaps it was an invitation. An invitation to answer. So instead of struggling, she let her mind drift, chasing the questions down into the depths of her memories. Why was she here? Why was she given this strange, powerful System?
"Come on." The voice grew louder, more insistent, reverberating inside the latex prison, vibrating through her very bones. "You can remember. It's right there. Focus."
"I can't!" Lyssandra groaned, her hands scrabbling at the sleek black material covering her face. It was airtight, suffocating. Each breath came harder, oxygen inside her shrinking after every gasp.
"You can!" The voice became a roar, a storm inside her mind. "The System. Focus on it. It's the key. Use it."
She stopped clawing, her fingers going still against the unyielding material. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to push through the fog of confusion and panic. The voice was right, there was something. A thread she hadn't followed, a question she had buried under layers of survival and ambition and desire.
Then it clicked.
A feeling, sudden, overwhelming certainty that opened a door she hadn't even known was locked. Memories surged through her consciousness, raw and vivid, images long buried resurfacing with shocking clarity.
She was not from this planet. That much she had always known. But the truth of her origin came flooding back with the force of a tidal wave.
Her home was a world drenched in blue, not the pale blue of this world's sky, but a deep, endless cerulean stretching into infinity. A planet of vast, rolling oceans and crystalline cities glittering like gems against the water, built on floating platforms of translucent material.
The architecture was elegance itself - curving spires of living crystal, bridges of light suspended over channels of rushing water, gardens of bioluminescent flora pulsing gentle light in the darkness.
The air had been sweet, scented with salt and something floral, carried on warm, ever-present winds. People were advanced, their technology seamless and beautiful, woven into fabric of nature. It had been a world of harmony and wonder.
She remembered it. All of it. The name, the culture, the sky hang twin suns casting everything in warm, golden light. A world far beyond this one in science, magic and peace.
And then she remembered leaving it. Not by choice though.
A cataclysm.
"Almost there," Lyssandra murmured, her voice muffled through the latex while the flood of memories continued. She could see her childhood now, fragments of a life lived in floating palaces.
But then the distorted voice slammed into her mind like a hammer on an anvil.
"Stop. Enough!"
The latex shifted, flowing like liquid for a single, precise moment. It peeled back from her mouth and nostrils, creating just enough of an opening for her to drag in a desperate, ragged breath. She hadn't even realized she'd been holding it. Her lungs burned while cool air rushed into her body.
"Why?" Lyssandra coughed, her voice raw and angry, the complain bitter. "You said I had to remember!"
"Enough is enough," the voice countered, firm and final. "Your body can't handle this power. The full weight of those memories, the full weight of your origins, would unmake you. Your consciousness would shatter."
Lyssandra paused, her chest heaving as she lay on the dome's floor. The material remained sealed over everything but her mouth, pressing snugly against her skin like a second layer. She thought back to the first time she had been swallowed by this place.
The pain, the dying, the rebirth, over and over. The experience had nearly broken her then, and she'd been physically whole at the time. Now, sealed in this form-fitting prison, even a glimpse had been almost too much. The doppelganger or whatever it was, was right. The whole truth, the whole power would kill her. Just like it had tried to do the last time.
Then a new realization struck her. A strange memory from her earliest days in this world, back when everything had been fresh and terrifying. A conversation with Luna when the slime had first nested inside her, when everything was still new and uncertain.
Lyssandra's eyes widened when the pieces clicked together, her gaze locking onto those dark, pulsing obsidian testicles she had carried since the day she got the dungeon power. They weren't just organs or just Luna's home. Something else had been living inside them too, wrapped around the slime, coexisting.
"It was you!" she breathed. "You were inside me the whole time! What were you doing inside my body?"
The latex suit responded instantly. A tight band of pressure closed around her throat, cutting off her words, her breath. The choking was immediate and brutal.
"You ungrateful!" The voice was furious, the latex pressing hard against her neck like a vice. "It was me who has been helping you control this power! It was me who has always been there, keeping you together, stopping you from burning apart from the inside!"
The grip tightened further. Lyssandra's fingers flew to her throat, claws and all, but she couldn't find purchase against the seamless substance.
