Legend of the chosen ones: Beyond Destiny
Chapter 1843 - 948: Gift (2)
At the exit in the distance, a new checkpoint had unexpectedly appeared again. A large number of exoskeleton armor gathered, heavily guarded, verifying the identity of tourists one by one.
Forcefully stabilizing the chaotic situation, reestablishing order once more.
The closer Tian Shan got, the more tense he felt. Amid all the verifications and surveillance, his face grew increasingly somber, clutching a forged document in his hand, unsure whether he could possibly cheat his way through.
The only thing he could do was slow his pace as much as possible to buy time, and just as his turn was approaching, he heard terrified screams around him.
The sky was painted blood red.
Fire rained down like a storm, descending without any warning.
Instead of panic, a sense of joy filled his heart, barely able to suppress a smile… That idiot Baininger had finally made a move!
Amidst the violent explosion, he took advantage of the chaos to slip through the checkpoint, silently laughing wildly, disappearing into the crowd.
Meanwhile, from the other side, a hoarse and frenetic shout erupted.
"Die! Die! Die!"
The Chosen One, with half his body burning, spread his arms wide, laughing maniacally at the sky: "Haha, hahahaha, all of you, die!!!"
Under his control, streaks of Flame Light fell from the sky like meteors, crashing into the surrounding exoskeleton armor, igniting flames and dense smoke that spread rapidly.
Winds of incineration fanned out in all directions.
BOOM!!!
Amidst Baininger's wild laughter, streams of falling fire converged above the sky, transforming into a shape of weaponry, slashing down upon the chaotic park and countless fleeing people below!
The screams of agony never ceased, the wailing continued interminably.
The entire world seemed transformed into Hell.
Only the sound of wild laughter came to an abrupt halt.
Dazed.
The crowd grew increasingly terrified, the park ever more chaotic, with countless flashes and reflections of firelight revealing pale faces, some people yet to realize what had happened.
Only those just engulfed by the flames and explosion sat bewildered in place for a long time, then slowly looked up, bewilderedly surveying their surroundings.
How did it seem as if nothing had happened?
Flames rushed past like a torrent, but the entire park remained unscathed, not even a single hair from the scattered crowd being harmed, making the once grand and brutal Destruction appear to be just an illusion…
No damage at all!
Buzz—
Within a barely perceptible hum, everyone's eardrums tingled faintly with pain, and glancing around in confusion, they saw glass vibrating and dust rising.
At the outdoor seating of the café, a half-filled cup of coffee with ice cubes inside vibrated, humming, with dew on the cup's surface slowly sliding down.
The entire park seemed enveloped in a subtle vibration.
Only until this moment did everyone perceive… the cold brilliance gradually manifesting, permeating the air.
As if indifferent eyes from high above had been watching all the changes from the start to the end, surveying the situation, sensing the timing.
There was a brief moment, a slight nod.
That's almost enough.
And so, an Invisible Hand descended from the sky!
From below the ground, laid pipes suddenly burst, and an immense amount of Mercury gushed out, serpentine, and soared into the sky.
The grand force buried beneath the entire park erupted abruptly.
Countless streams of silver light flowed like waves, spreading like solids, rising like steam. Within the Three Phases Flow, a curtain extended, immediately establishing the complex structure of the Mechanical Mandala.
Within the mandala, boundless golden light converged, outlining a figure like a Divine Buddha, hands slowly coming together, silently mouthing words.
With the clash of those palms, an unprecedented violent impact spread swiftly.
Great Momentum of the Three Thousand Worlds!
Amid an even more potent spiritual tide than any storm, six kinds of vibrations and eighteen types of changes emerged in a dazzling array, instantly wiping out countless swarming mosquitoes, causing any Disaster Beasts that had just been ferociously fierce to freeze in place, and then…
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Muffled sounds of shattering continued as each Disaster Beast convulsed violently, bled from seven orifices, collapsed, twitching futilely, allowing the silver light to engulf them bit by bit, sealing them until there was no more life.
An ear-piercing scream erupted from the void, with the Heart Core transforming into countless moths that continuously proliferated and expanded with terrified wailing. Wherever the six vibrations passed, countless moths burst rapidly, froze, and under the ravaging of endless silver light, vanished into the curtain never to be seen again.
They couldn't even resist…
Just as he wished for a final struggle, he discovered that the Seed of Mind he planted on the tourists and audience members was losing response at a terrifying speed.
Coughs echoed from the crowd throughout the park, as the frightened travelers who had been hiding moments ago suddenly felt a tingling at the tip of their noses, like getting a nasal swab for a virus test, causing them to sneeze involuntarily.
Tears and snot almost out of control.
And amid the sneezes, it seemed like a wisp of silver light sprayed out of their mouths but disappeared, leaving only a slight drowsiness and sluggishness.
Originally felt fear, despair, and rage miraculously vanished.
In the blink of an eye, thousands of Seed of Mind carriers underwent a minimally invasive procedure unnoticed, with solid alchemy targeting the lesions within the Three Phases Flow, effortlessly freezing the seed eggs and then slightly stimulating the soul to expel the foreign bodies independently.
After venting their emotions excessively, the restored consciousness slipped into a Sage-like state, calming swiftly amid the fatigue and dullness.
