Leveling Up With My Investment System
Chapter 15: Two Investment
Their stay at the store did not take long, Leon simply paid for the best PC that was there with twenty thousand credits and the store prepared to ship it to his house for him.
After that, he parted ways with Kate, after all, they had finished what they had come out for. She promised to be in touch still before she left, though.
"Having contacts in high places is pretty nice," Leon muttered as he walked down the road. He was heading toward the hunter guild. He had something else planned for the day and it was simple.
He wanted to register at the hunters guild and also head into the weakest gate and see what was behind there. He had never gotten the chance to because he had no ability.
The guild allowed for anyone to become a hunter, even people that did not have abilities could get in, but they most likely would get an F ranked and they would never really grow past that. He was okay with that, he had no plans to really go further, that wasn’t in the books for him.
He also wanted to watch as many awakened hunters as possible, he wanted to find out if there was any good investment to make.
"How am I going to go about it?" He grabbed his chin as he walked. He could only use the ability twice a day.
While he was lost in thoughts, the system rang out.

[You have leveled up. +4 stat points, 100,000 SP]
[You have unlocked Shop lv1]
Leon paused in the middle of the road, staring at the screen. A few people passed by and wondered what was wrong with him.
"My investment worked. Haha. Hell yeah." His excitement was barely contained, he did not care for how much he had gained, he simply cared about the fact that he had finally leveled up.
The shop had also opened and now he would be able to use the system points that he gained.
"I wonder if my appraisal leveled up as well."
He checked it very quickly and what he saw excited him, he could use it four times in a day. Which meant he had three uses for the day.
"This makes things a whole lot better."
He arrived at the guild, it was a massive skyscraper. A ton of people walked in and out, a few of whom were wearing gear of different sorts.
He stuck his hands in his pockets and headed in, walking inside for what was the first time in his life. The entire first floor was filled with people walking up and down.
"I should get registered first."
He walked over to the counter, there was a lady there, she looked up at him and then back to her computer.
"Welcome to the guild, what can I do for you?" She asked, her tone was formal and had no warmth at all.
"I am here to register as a hunter." He replied.
She looked up at him and then down at the computer. "Do you have an ability? And if you do, I’d like for you to follow us for an assessment."
"No, I don’t. I’d like to register anyway," Leon replied.
She looked at him for a few seconds, giving him the look that she had given many before. He was not the first random person that had come and wanted to become a hunter without an ability.
Many of them believed that they could get rich from it somehow and then get themselves killed. Sadly, it was not her job to tell them what to do.
She pulled out a form and handed it to him.
"Fill this and I will process your registration."
Leon took it to the side and filled it up with his information. He handed it back to her.
"Please sit and wait, and when it is done, I’ll call you to get your identity card."
He got a chair and sat down, there were a lot of people around him now, which meant it was the perfect time for him to do what he wanted to do.
"Appraisal."
Immediately, the information of everyone in his line of sight showed up. He saw their stats and where their potential lay, but no matter how he searched, there was really no one that was pulling his attention enough, but then suddenly his eyes landed on two figures seated together, one lady and one dude.
The lady was stunning with short-cut purple hair and eyes, she had a mage-like staff with her even though her sleeveless combat dressing did not make her seem like a magic user.
The dude beside her had longer hair than her and it blocked off his face as well. His sword rested on the side of his chair.
They were both D-ranked hunters now with a staggering A-ranked potential for the girl and S-ranked for the dude.
"Well, I’ll be damned."
[Investment found]
[Quest: Invest in two hunters and bring them to the top]
[Rewards: unknown]
When the system rang out with a message as well, Leon got on his feet, he needed no more motivation. He walked over to them, they did not notice that he was there till he spoke.
"Hello? What’s up, I’m Leon." He greeted with a smile.
’Let’s get the investment started.’
