"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE NO MORE VIP ROOMS? A ROOM SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESERVED FOR ME." A middle-aged man in a suit barked. Behind him were two ladies in gowns that barely covered their skin and two guards with shades on.

He was fuming at the moment after the receptionist had told him that there was no VIP room set apart for him.

Today’s auction was a massive event, and as such, they had no free rooms. Every room had been assigned to a certain important person.

The man pointed at the woman, his rage pure in his eyes. "I have always sat inside a VIP room in every auction. That one." He moved his finger and pointed right at one door.

The receptionist and everyone around turned to look at the door, and immediately, they shook their heads.

"No, you cannot have that room at all. There are special people inside." She made it clear as day, and that somehow managed to enrage the man even more. He was fuming hard. He gritted his teeth and tried to push past the lady, but she resisted.

His guards immediately stepped forward and removed her from the way. The other workers watched in confusion while one rushed to call the necessary security to handle the situation.

The man stopped before the door. He felt that there were very few people in this city who were bigger than him and could take his room, and he believed none of them would be here.

He knocked on the door with heavy bangs and waited for the person who was inside to come out. No one responded after a while, so he looked to his guard and asked him to break the door.

The guard nodded and, without hesitation, sent a kick right into the door. It swung open, and inside, he saw Leon and his group eating away like hungry children.

He froze. He could not have fathomed that this was what he would be seeing when he walked into this place. He had expected to at least see someone with some timber and calibre, someone who was at least somewhat important to make the auction hall have him removed.

"I was refused a room because of you brats?" he thundered, his voice heavy and filled with rage.

Leon looked at him, then pointed at him with a spoon. "Are you meant to be here? You are kind of interrupting."

Hearing those words made the man snap.

"Get them out!" His voice thundered. His guards rushed forward, and the women with him giggled. They loved to see him use his authority.

The guards made it halfway across the room before a shadow moved. It was so fast that they could not even see it. It wrapped around their necks and hurled them high, slamming them into the roof and then hurling them to the ground hard.

The shadows did not let them go and proceeded to hurl them towards the door. The man moved out of the way fast as both guards went through the door and slammed into the opposite wall.

The air became heavy. Leon got on his feet and looked right at the man, who was standing up from the ground right now, and his eyes held a subtle anger.

"Who the fuck do you think you are?" Leon asked.

"You fucking brat," the man cursed. "I’ll destroy you. You have no idea who you are dealing with."

"And you have no idea who you have pissed off," Leon replied.

Before he could do anything else, security in suits ran into the room. They saw the man on the ground and moved to grab him fast, as well as the girls, who struggled and kicked, not wanting to leave, but were forced out.

A woman in a stunning red dress and beautiful makeup walked into the room with elegance. She had the security raise the man so she could see him.

"Mr. Lewis, your conduct today cannot be allowed to go unpunished. You disrespected my worker and proceeded to attack a special guest. You are hereby banned from this auction house." Her voice carried power and authority with ease. She did not need to force it or do too much.

Lewis gritted his teeth in rage. He tried to lunge at her, only for the security to force him down again.

"I have done so much for this auction house. How dare you? How dare you try to ban me after everything I have invested into this place?" he roared.

"Your investments are only a drop in the ocean. Do not think that you are too great to be removed or too important to us. You are none of that," she said with a cold glare.

"Remove him."

The men dragged him out of the room despite him trying to fight back and break free.

The woman turned to Leon and his group.

"Sorry that we could not come quicker to fix the situation, but from the look of things, you managed to handle it well.

My name is Lady Ember. I am a co-owner of the hall."

"I’m Leon," he replied with a smile.

"Kate has told me a lot about you already. She seems to expect a lot of good things from you," she said with a soft smile and then turned to leave.

"I’ll have my workers bring some more refreshments for you. It’s the least that I can do after what has happened here. I am deeply sorry about that."

"You don’t have to be. It’s not your fault he acted that way," Leon replied. She smiled and then walked to the door.

"The auction is about to start. There are a lot of good things, and some may catch your attention. Make sure you bid on some."

She walked out and closed the door behind her.

Leon immediately felt two stabbing stares at his back. He turned around and saw Lily and Sophia glaring at him.
