Leveling Up With My Investment System
Chapter 6: SUV
Leon managed to sit in class. He tapped his pen on his notebook multiple times as he waited for class to end, and when it finally did, he was one of the first to step out.
He noticed that everyone who was just walking out was looking at the sides of the doors outside for a few seconds.
He got curious and stepped out as well, turning to see who was there.
A middle-aged man with some grey hair and a suit was standing there, and behind him were two men in black suits as well, with dark shades on their faces.
The moment the man saw him, he spoke,
"Mr. Leon Tallon?"
Leon paused. That was his name that this man just called right now.
Everyone else was looking at Leon in confusion. They knew that he was someone who barely talked in class and was basically a shadow. No one thought anything about him, so seeing him with this sort of people raised questions.
"Yeah, that’s me," Leon replied.
"We are from Viper. Your leaders would love to talk to you," he said, speaking in a calm yet professional tone.
"Whoa, is Viper not that new organization that rose out of nowhere?"
"Yeah, I saw them on the news this morning."
"You watch the news? How old are you?"
While everyone was speaking in the back, Leon was focused on what was in front of him, and that was the three men. He knew they were coming, so he really had no issue following them.
He was about to walk with them,
"Leon, bro! Hey!"
He heard the voice of Xander. Leon turned around and looked at Xander. He was about the same height as Leon, a bit over six feet, but more handsome and with clean silver-blonde hair that easily made him stand out wherever he went.
"Bro, you came to class? I was sure that you would not want to even move at all," Xander said. He wrapped his hand around Leon, and only then did he see the men standing there.
"Who are they?" Xander asked.
"Long story, I’ll answer that later. Just come with me," Leon said and then looked at the man.
"He is coming with me. Think of him as a personal assistant."
"That’s not an issue, Mr. Leon. Please, this way," the man said and led the way. The guards waited for Leon and Xander to start moving before they started following behind.
"Personal assistant? What the hell are you talking about?" Xander asked, wanting to know what the heck was happening right now.
"We are not in some sort of trouble, right?" Xander asked.
"No, sigh. I invested in a company last night, and it somehow blew up today, and now I am a major shareholder in a million-credit organization.
So they have come to carry me for some sort of meeting that will involve my shares and the company’s going forward," Leon explained fast, and Xander froze.
"What the hell? Is this a joke?" he asked.
"No, it is not."
They got outside the building, and a car along with a black SUV was waiting outside for them.
"Viper has made sure to get a proper ride to take you to our headquarters," the man said and opened the door.
"Hmm, your company was worth a hundred credits last night and only now got to a million. How do you have cars and a headquarters already?" Leon asked.
"Seems you are smart, Mr. Leon. Well, all this was already in place, but organizations like ours are not valuated on personal items. All this belongs to the founder. The company itself had nothing until this morning," he explained and opened the SUV door.
"Please come in, and we will be on our way."
Xander looked at Leon, still unsure of what was happening, but Leon walked in without thought, so Xander had to follow behind. The door was closed, and the guards got into the second car while the man got into the SUV to drive it.
The interior of the car was pretty cozy and chill. Xander sat inside, a bit confused, looking around like he was lost.
"Can you stop being shocked? Your parents are rich, you are used to this sort of life," Leon said.
"Oh, come on, allow me have this. It’s crazy being picked up in such a car that’s not my dad’s," he said.
"Sigh, so do you have any questions? You can lay them on me now," Leon said.
"Well, I’m not even sure what to ask. I know you had good eyes, but to have eyes good enough to pick an organization that suddenly blows up, that’s crazy.
I heard my dad talking about Viper this morning and saying it was rising. He even made mention of investing in it now that it was still pretty much early."
