Lewd Replication Skill: Becoming Unrivalled in Another World
Chapter 132: You think? Kazu is the cute type, so he looks like he’d go over well with older onee-sans
Incidentally, not only ether points but their neighboring areas, building structures was forbidden by the Hero Charter.
Actually there existed people in the past who broke the Hero Charter and tried to make a safe city using the characteristic of ether points that monsters did not approach.
But as a result of making many buildings, the flow of ether in the earth and atmosphere changed, and the ether point disappeared.
The people who broke the Hero Charter and even burned away the ether point were given fitting punishment.
That was why now there were no people who tried to make buildings at ether points or neighboring areas.
Ether points were only places caravans seeking ether grass visited regularly, and there were no residents.
What composed this caravan was twenty contractor trucks.
Here and there at Pratumvite the trucks were scattered and stopped.
The owners of the trucks were separate contractors, and each contractor hired escort adventurers.
In other words, Kazui and Yuri’s employer and Tint’s employer were each different contractors.
Adventurers moved together with the employing contractor and their workers.
By chance the position of Kazui and the others’ employing contractor and Tint’s employing contractor came close, so Tint had approached Kazui and the others at some point.
"No, I didn’t do any pickup!"
Kazui answered Tint’s question.
"I’m weak to alcohol, and when I ended up drinking... I just fell asleep in the park."
There was no way he could talk about Lumia and Monica without their approval, so Kazui lied and dodged.
"What. You were talking about pickup the other day, so I thought it succeeded."
"I don’t have the guts like Tint to call out to a woman I just met and invite her."
"What a waste. Kazu and Yuri both look good, so if you did it you’d seem suited."
"I have a girlfriend in the original world, so I don’t do pickup."
"As always you’re serious, Yuri."
Tint shrugged and returned words to Yuri.
"Setting Yuri aside, my looks aren’t particularly good."
"You think? Kazu is the cute type, so he looks like he’d go over well with older onee-sans."
Right after saying that, an adventurer who seemed like a mage about twenty meters away called out to Tint.
"Tint! We’re moving!"
The contractor hiring Tint started moving from around here to another place, so the hired adventurers also had to move.
That was why Tint’s companion called Tint who was talking with Kazui and the others.
"Then later!"
Tint waved and turned on his heel, running to his companion.
"Later!"
While waving, Kazui called out to Tint’s back.
"As expected of Tint. When it comes to things involving women he has an eye."
While waving, Yuri leaked an impression about Tint’s insight in a small voice.
"He saw through that Kazu is going over well with older onee-sans."
"...I’m not particularly going over well."
Looking awkward, Kazui returned words.
"Because you’re going over well, didn’t you end up coming home in the morning?"
It could be called hitting the mark, so Kazui awkwardly averted his gaze and did not return an answer.
"Have Common Shield, or a skill close to it, copied from some onee-san somewhere. Otherwise today’s Kazu... is just a grass-cutting part-time job."
In today’s work they had not encountered even one monster yet.
That was why Kazui had not fought even once today.
For form’s sake he had used attention several levels sharper than Yuri and watched during movement by truck, so it was not that he had done nothing as adventurer work.
But compared to Yuri who had deployed Common Shield for several hours during movement, it could be said he had it quite easy.
"Yesterday too until midway on the way back it was that kind of feel, but in the end two monsters appeared and I finished them."
With a cool face Kazui continued.
"Today too monsters might appear from now, so when the work ends the burden might become similar."
"...I hope so."
While cutting glowing grass with a sickle, Yuri continued.
"If we don’t defeat monsters and earn magic stones, in our case as trainees, with just the basic reward we can’t earn that much."
While cutting grass too, Kazui returned words to Yuri.
"I want to become a regular adventurer soon. That way I can get a slightly more decent reward."
"I’m... soon, but Kazu, if you don’t use Leonization it’s impossible, isn’t it?"
A fact he did not want to admit, so Kazui was hard to return an answer.
"Ah! Over there... there are a lot glowing, so I’ll go cut over there!"
Suddenly declaring that, Kazui left Yuri and hurriedly moved to around thirty meters away.
Kazui leaned forward and cut glowing ether grass.
Work of continuing to look at ether grass light up close, but it did not become dazzling.
Ether grass light was easy on the eyes, so even continuing to look was not a problem.
(Actually if I don’t use it raising levels will be hard... but I don’t want to. Using Leonization.)
If possible he did not want to think about it, but about the problem he could not help worrying about, Kazui ended up thinking.
On a grassland with a refreshing blue sky and a pleasant wind blowing through, in a melancholy mood Kazui continued cutting ether grass.
A sound of a horn similar to a brass instrument was sounded in succession.
A way of sounding the horn that informed of an emergency stop.
On the way back from Pratumvite to Aquila, the caravan trucks formed a line and continued running through the forest.
But even though it was a time the sun had not even tilted, the inside of the forest started becoming dim.
Thick fog started hanging on the forest, and even shining fog lamps they entered a state of being unable to properly secure vision.
That was why the drivers of the trucks composing the caravan judged almost simultaneously they should emergency stop, and started sounding horns all at once.
The trucks stopped suddenly, and the contractors who mostly doubled as truck drivers gathered in one place and started a discussion.
The discussion happened by chance near the truck Kazui and the others were riding the bed of, so the conversation content was audible to Kazui and Yuri too.
"The speed the fog hangs is fast. This is a Falling Cloud. No matter how you think it won’t clear until night."
"Bad luck. Guess we have no choice but to camp."
"Well, this season every year we get hit a few times."
"Around here there’s a grassland suited to camping. When I got caught in a Falling Cloud before I used it."
"There should be a side path leading to the grassland. Let’s have the adventurers look for it. They can probably move properly in the fog better than us."
Kazui who had been listening to the conversation, while looking at the scene of fog thick enough that seeing ten meters ahead was hard, muttered looking disappointed.
"Just as Lumia-san said, fog came out."
Falling Cloud was a weather phenomenon where thick fog hung over a wide range all at once as if a cloud fell from the sky.
This season, on the route back from Pratumvite to Aquila, it sometimes occurred.
Caught in this fog, trucks could not run.
Moreover the fog did not clear for at least six hours, so depending on the time caught in a Falling Cloud it became night.
