Lewd Replication Skill: Becoming Unrivalled in Another World

Chapter 136: I really can fly as I thought

  • Next Chapter

Some of the adventurers performed anti-air attacks and released glowing attacks into the sky, but they did not reach the griffin.

The griffin was flying around a height of about two hundred meters, a height that would not reach unless long-range attack.

Magic job adventurers capable of long-range attack were mostly downed by the shockwave attack.

The few magic job adventurers who could move were desperate protecting the downed ones and non-combatants with defensive barriers, and had no leeway to turn to attack.

In other words the ones performing anti-air attacks were only martial arts job adventurers.

They released attacks such as Aura Shot at the griffin flying around a height of about two hundred meters, but there was no way they would reach.

Of course even if they reached the griffin they would not deal proper damage.

Against a griffin possessing powerful defense ability, mid-range attacks released by lower-rank or below adventurers did not work.

Incidentally the griffin possessed long-range attack ability that released shockwaves from its mouth.

The range far exceeded two hundred meters, so it was flying with room in a distance where it could attack one-sidedly.

The shockwave that smashed multiple defensive barriers and blew away a wide range with intense power was not something that could be rapid-fired.

While flying around the sky, the griffin was storing the enormous Aura necessary to release a shockwave.

"I’m counting on you for Yuri and the others!"

Sky Dancer, the Leona dedicated basic skill that realized flight, and Aura Mail, a standard martial arts type defense skill, Kazui activated in succession.

Among Leona dedicated basic skills there were also ones for defense, but knowing they could not be used during flight, Kazui activated Aura Mail.

"Eh, ah... leave it to me!"

Right after hearing Tint’s words, Kazui’s body soared into the air.

First in a feel of checking the state, Kazui rose to a height of about ten meters.

(I really can fly as I thought.)

When Sky Dancer activated, Kazui basically could fly as he thought.

Because of ability limits there were restrictions on speed and aerial movement ability, so even saying as he thought, it was only talk within the restrictions.

After confirming he could fly in the sky, Kazui switched to level flight and started low-altitude flight aiming at the griffin.

While continuing to fly as if gliding over the trees of the forest, Kazui rapidly closed in toward the griffin.

Flight speed, Kazui was faster than the griffin.

It was also because the leisurely flying griffin was not putting out top speed, but it was not a monster with that fast a flight speed.

So as not to be eyed by the griffin, Kazui continued flying as if circling to the griffin’s back.

Then before long Kazui circled to considerably below on the rear side of the griffin.

Rather than raising altitude from the start, low-altitude flight would be less conspicuous, and attacking from behind would be harder to dodge, Kazui thought.

That was why he first continued low-altitude flight and circled to the rear side of the griffin.

(The attack skill, there was Meteorite Burst. The one Yuri used against Vice.)

Kazui immediately activated Meteorite Burst.

Then his whole body glowed blue with Aura light, and that light gathered in Kazui’s both hands and both feet.

Meteorite Burst glowed, so Kazui understood it would stand out in the night sky.

That was why until he approached the griffin to some degree and took a position that could be called a blind spot, he held off using it.

With only the Aura already filling the body right after becoming Leona, Meteorite Burst could be used.

But in that case the power was automatically adjusted to low output, and the attack power became a bit low.

When trying to raise Meteorite Burst output and use it at high power, one needed to generate Aura anew.

That was why Yuri when taking on Vice, and Kazui trying to attack the griffin, both generated Aura anew.

A shooting star that fell while releasing light and caused an explosion burst if it reached the ground... a meteorite.

An attack that made the striking parts glow like such a meteorite and possessed explosive destructive power, so this skill was named Meteorite Burst.

(Rising rapidly isn’t very meteorite-like... take this!)

Kazui looked up at the griffin and, trailing a tail of blue light, accelerated all at once and started a rapid rise.

Like an anti-air missile, Kazui attacked toward the griffin.

Rapidly approached from a blind spot, the griffin was late noticing Kazui.

As a result the strike by Kazui’s right fist caught the griffin’s abdomen where the three-ring mark was imprinted... and hit.

If possible Kazui wanted to aim at the head, the weak point for most monsters, but a surprise attack from low altitude at the rear, the griffin’s body hid the head, so that was difficult.

That was why next after the head, the chest with a high possibility of being a weak point, Kazui aimed.

But against a griffin flying around in the air, Kazui could not perform an accurate attack.

Even basic skill Sky Dancer, at the first stage one could only master it to some degree.

Beginner Kazui could not master it perfectly from the start.

As a result not the aimed chest, Kazui’s right fist hit the griffin’s abdomen.

A collision sound like an explosion that split the ears, and the griffin’s scream like a monster’s cry, echoed in the night sky.

Blue light and white light scattered in the night sky and bloomed flowers of light in the night sky like fireworks.

The blue light was Kazui’s Aura, the white light the griffin’s Aura.

Because both Auras collided, a large amount of shining Aura spray scattered in the night sky.

The griffin wrapped its body in Aura... in other words with Aura Mail raised its defense ability.

But eating the Meteorite Burst attack by Kazui’s right fist, part of the Aura Mail was blown away.

The white Aura was the griffin’s Aura blown away by Kazui.

Only part of the Aura Mail was shaved, not broken, so the griffin was unhurt.

(Unhurt with that just now? As expected... hard!)

That the attack by Meteorite Burst he released was considerably powerful, Kazui understood as a sensation.

Even so the griffin was unhurt, so Kazui was surprised.

But Kazui’s attacks did not stop at one.

In a state of taking the underside of the griffin, he slammed punches and kicks using both hands and feet in succession around the griffin’s abdomen.

In the night sky flowers of light bloomed one after another, and the griffin raised screams.

Having Aura Mail shaved more and more, the griffin lost defense ability.

The griffin fled around the night sky, but aerial movement ability, Kazui in Leona state was superior, and it could not escape.

As if if it could not escape then attack, with limbs growing sharp claws and a beak sharper than claws, the griffin attacked Kazui.

But Kazui who flew around brilliantly as if dancing in the night sky was not even grazed.

Kazui flew around the griffin’s surroundings and continued hit-and-away attacks.

(I can do it! With this I can defeat it!)

Excited, Kazui raised a voice in his heart.

But the griffin was not an opponent that could be defeated that easily.

The griffin suddenly dove rapidly.

Judging continuing aerial combat with an enemy surpassing itself in aerial movement ability disadvantageous, it intended to switch to ground combat.

Mowing down trees and shaking the earth, the griffin landed in the forest.

(So it came to that!)

Kazui also chased the griffin and dove rapidly, landing in the forest.

(I have to switch from Sky Dancer to Rapid Dancer!)
