Life Game In Other World

Chapter 1849 - 1848: Holy Master

  • Next Chapter

The principle of this domain is very simple—He Ao directly infiltrates the power of the Biqing Sky into the world, and then unfolds a region within the world.

In a sense, this domain is equivalent to an ’extension’ of the Biqing Sky in the Main World.

And as the creator of the Biqing Sky, within this domain, He Ao holds an absolute position of authority.

He can freely adjust the rules, distort the world, and even direct the world space within the domain against intruders.

Although some rules, such as time, are limited by the collision and interference of the two worlds and have little room for adjustment, most rules can be freely adjusted by He Ao.

Simply put, within this domain, he can temporarily hold the ’highest authority’ over the world.

Because the Biqing Sky has no fixed location and exists independently of the universe as a small world with only a Trapped Destiny Plate as an anchor, as long as He Ao can connect to the location of the Biqing Sky, he can use the World Domain.

This is not limited by the world he’s in; even in dungeon worlds, as long as He Ao can connect to the Biqing Sky, he can unfold the World Domain.

Of course, by previous experience, this possibility is quite small.

There seems to be an invisible ’isolation’ between the Main World and the dungeon worlds. It’s unclear whether this is intentional by the system or due to other reasons; this isolation strengthens with higher position grades.

Previously, He Ao tested that an Angel Tier Eye of Truth could still transmit a slight amount of power through the Soul connection, but the powerful props acquired later could hardly transmit any power.

This connection between these ultra-high positional grade items and He Ao may, to some degree, expose the existence of the Main World.

But whether it works or not still needs testing once in the dungeon.

He Ao collected his thoughts, and the vast spreading domain instantly retracted and disappeared, while the surrounding Gobi Desert returned to silence.

When unfolding the World Domain, it would also be suppressed by the current world.

The Main World is still a powerful world, which greatly limits the scope of the World Domain.

He Ao didn’t know what level he was currently considered to be.

The system classified him as ’Harmonization Method,’ a God-Overstepping Level; if considering the positional grade within the World Domain, he barely counts as a Usurper God.

But purely in terms of strength, the World Domain he could unfold in the Main World barely managed to cover ten thousand square kilometers.

For the creatures on the ground and the relatively small Angels, this indeed poses an extremely high pressure, and He Ao could easily deal with them.

But for a true Usurper God.

For example, the Tuning Master He Ao had seen, and especially something like the Star Shadow, he couldn’t handle them at all.

A Star Shadow unfolding its true form could easily be bigger than the entire Main World.

How could that be fought? There’s no way to fight it.

Moreover, both of them were clearly injured, belonging to the aged and infirm group under the God of Machinery.

Being better than some but not enough compared to others.

That’s He Ao’s current situation.

He possesses the position of a Usurper God but lacks the power of one, unable even to match the level of the aged and infirm.

At the root, it’s because the Biqing Sky is too weak.

To go beyond world limitations and become a truly active ’Usurper God,’ a different kind of cost must be paid.

If he could amplify the power of the Biqing Sky, he might then be able to amplify his own power.

He Ao shook his head, looked up, gazing at the sky.

Under the coverage of the Biqing Sky’s power, he could already break through cognitive barriers and gaze upon the shadow of the giant gray-white celestial body in the sky.

The good news is, he has obtained a Usurper God’s positional grade.

The bad news is, a genuine Divine Being is about to appear.

Even with normal Usurper God’s strength and positional grade, in front of the God of Machinery, he would be like a little ant.

He had indeed witnessed a friend in the form of a clone descending, instantly wiping out a Tuning Master.

He turned his gaze, looking at the stars in the firmament.

Time is running out.

However, there’s still a chance.

He took a deep breath, fingers tight on the Barrier Wood, his figure disappearing from where he stood.

——

Ningta

The young man in a white robe walked slowly along a long staircase towards the tallest building in the whole inner city.

It was a palace-like structure made of stones, and inside, it was pitch black, with the people inside seemingly having gone to rest.

Yet, the bright lights surrounding the palace illuminated the ground as if it were daytime.

The shrill sound of alarms echoed outside the buildings, frantic shouts accompanied by hurried footsteps fluctuated throughout the building cluster.

Yet everything around was so quiet.

As the core of the entire building complex, this tallest, brightest building had no security around it.

Everything was as quiet as if this crucial area had been forgotten by everyone.

The young man in white ascended the long staircase step by step.

Like an envoy seeing a king or a rebel leader capturing the capital, ready to claim the final victory.

Finally, he reached the last step, arriving in front of the pitch-black ’palace.’

He stood before the tightly closed stone door.

Bang—Bang—

Two palace lanterns instantly lit up before the stone door, casting flickering lights and illuminating the tight stone door.

But on the inner side of the stone door, beyond the carved windows, it remained completely dark.

The young man in white quietly observed this scene, then slowly lifted his hand, placing it on the stone door.

He seemed ready to directly push open the stone door, but he glanced at the lights on both sides, smiled slightly, and shook his head.

Then he turned his hand, fingers forming a grip, and lightly knocked on the stone door.

Dong—

With a light sound, the heavy stone door abruptly opened, and rows of bright lights illuminated inside the stone door.

The lanterns were neatly arranged into two rows, as if formed by ancient design, their light illuminating together, pulling out a slender extended path that led to the deepest parts of the entire palace, arriving before a stone throne standing upon the stairs.

The young man in white gazed at the long road paved by light, like a narrow invitation.

He lifted his foot, crossing the threshold, slowly following the luminous path forward.

His movements were so slow, like an elderly person who values etiquette, each step meticulously regulating his actions.

Yet his body moved so quickly that, in an instant, he appeared before that heavy stone throne.

Bang—

At this moment, the lights in front of the long stone throne suddenly illuminated, brightening the broad throne.

A figure sat up from the stone throne, yawning, "It’s always a pleasure to have friends coming from afar."

That figure was also a young man, his hair somewhat scattered, clothes covered in creases, seemingly having slept here all along and just now awakened.

"I have a feeling you’ve been looking for me for a long time?" The young man sitting on the throne lowered his head, gazing at the young man in white below, smiling.

"Not that long," the young man in white shook his head slightly, "but I didn’t expect you’d leave only a clone here to meet me."

"But it’s me communicating with you, just as it’s you communicating with me and not the body you’re using," He Ao straightened his posture, gazed calmly at the young man in white below, smiling, "How should I address you? Surely not as the Divine Being of the Stele?"

The young man in white paused slightly and gazed at He Ao, his eyes flickering gently with gray light, "You’re quite clever,"

Then, he slowly laughed, "I have many names, if you wish, you may call me, ’Holy Master.’

Boom—

A violent roar erupted in the sky, akin to the sound of thunder exploding in the firmament.

A breeze swept through the world, across its deepest layers, and through the open doors of this grand hall.

The wind lightly shook the rules of the world, gently flickering the lit lanterns as if they were candle flames.

He Ao, sitting on the stone throne, opened his eyes slightly, gazing at the young man in white amidst the flickering lanterns.

"Sounds like it should be quite a famous name." He looked at the young man in white, speaking slowly.

"Actually, before you, the last person who knew this name died long ago." The young man in white smiled as he watched He Ao, "The fame of this name probably isn’t even higher than that of ’K.’

Upon hearing this statement, He Ao squinted his eyes slightly.

"I have never heard the name ’K’ in other worlds," the young man in white gazed at He Ao, smiling as he continued to speak, "This implies that ’K’ isn’t a universally known belief on a cosmic scale. Throughout the long history, I haven’t heard of this ’K’s reputation, which doesn’t align with the positional grade of a divine being, do you think so?"

He Ao quietly gazed at him without answering, only a subtle smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

"Most of the time, such circumstances signify that ’K’ is a world-native ’God,’" the young man in white continued smiling, "Typically, the role of such indigenous gods is played by the strongest person in the world, often possessing some form of Divine ability,"

He lifted his head to look at He Ao, "For instance, a powerful martial artist capable of communicating with the world?"

"A very reasonable conjecture." He Ao gazed at the young man in white before him, nodding slightly, seemingly agreeing with the young man’s words.

The young man in white merely gazed at He Ao’s expression, soft gray brilliance flickering within his pupils, and after a brief pause, he smiled, "Of course, this is merely conjecture, the universe is so vast and boundless, even Truth itself could hardly boast of having seen all the worlds."

He slightly tilted his head, continuing, "Perhaps there’s indeed a God named ’K’ in the universe, becoming an eternal Great Being in unknown realms,"

He gazed at He Ao, "After all, if there isn’t an unknown Great God existing, it’s hard to explain why a youth growing up in a world devoid of extraordinary power can master so much mysticism knowledge and have so many astonishing mysticism props,"

His gaze slightly lifted as he continued to laugh, "When the machines are fishing with that abandoned dwarf planet, it wouldn’t be foolish enough to place God-Overstepping Level items inside as bait? Or several God-Overstepping Level items?"

The gray eyes flickered slightly, like eyes that probe deep into the soul, attempting to pierce through He Ao’s soul and peek into his deepest secrets.

Yet those eyes ultimately failed to penetrate He Ao’s soul, merely halted before the power enveloping his soul.

It’s the power from the Biqing Sky, naturally attached to his soul since he ’promoted’—a kind of adhering power seemingly not affected by distance.

At this moment, the young man in white’s expression flashed a trace of surprise, he looked at He Ao, "You harmonized with the Dao? Yet didn’t choose this world, why?"

"What do you think?" He Ao looked at him, also smiled and asked.

Now it’s the young man in white who was momentarily stunned, he looked at He Ao and laughed, "You’re quite an interesting lad."

Earlier, he was persistently probing He Ao with so-called ’conjectures,’ attempting to suppress He Ao through language to gain an advantage.

So when his surprise occurred, He Ao’s casual retort was both a deconstruction and a form of satire towards his prior aggressive attack.

The young man in white didn’t continue speaking but slightly raised his hand, gray brilliance spilling from his fingertips, quickly expanding, covering the entire roof.

Soon after, the gray brilliance gradually vanished, and that massive roof suspended above them became transparent at a speed visible to the naked eye.

A clear night sky appeared above their heads, and within that night sky was a colossal grayish-white planet.

The planet had almost fully solidified, its body so immense, immense enough to occupy almost the entire sky, seeming to be within reach.

He Ao raised his head, gazing at the enormous reflection of the world in the sky. At this moment, this gigantic planet was so close to the Main World that he could even discern the cities on the grayish-white planet and see the buildings covered in climbing vines.

Pop—

Along with He Ao’s gaze, streaks of light and shadow appeared in the sky, then converged into a countdown.

59:59

At the moment He Ao observed the countdown, it flickered once, changing to 59:58.

"The final hour," the voice of the young man in white sounded slowly from ahead, "Have you made all your preparations?"

He Ao’s gaze lowered, looking ahead at the young man in white, laughed, "Seems you’ve mastered timing quite well."

He paused slightly, "Haven’t you already seen the preparations I’ve made?"

"Actually, many things I can’t predict," the young man in white shook his head slightly, "For instance, I always assumed you’d harmonize with the Dao of this world, which would provide you more leeway and means of handling during this crisis, yet you chose to harmonize with the Dao of another world, which is probably a world far from here,"

He stated somewhat regretfully, "Looks like you’ve chosen another path, you’ve already set a place to escape, have you planned to abandon this world?"

Seems this ’Holy Master’ doesn’t know about the ’Genesis’ method of harmonization?

Hmm, perhaps it was unexpected for him that He Ao could carry the created world around.

"Seems you’re disappointed I didn’t harmonize with the Dao of the world?" He Ao gazed at the young man in white before him, thoughtfully speaking, "You hoped I could have more power, more scope, to let your ’plan’ proceed smoothly?"

"Of course," the young man in white didn’t avoid, he smiled while speaking, "It’s not just my plan, isn’t it?"

Saying this, he sighed softly, "Actually, I hoped you’d harmonize with the Dao of this world not to let you have extra leeway, but to raise the success rate of this plan higher."

He gazed at He Ao, "You need to understand something, the gaze of a divine being is fate, and fate isn’t easy to obstruct."

Boom—

Accompanying his words, a violent roar exploded in the sky, the entire firmament seemed to be torn apart by a great force.
