Shi Chun said, "Why don't you use a spell to dig down, while A San and I check the surroundings?"

It would be a pity to miss it like this, Zhu Xiangxin nodded, "Okay."

After noting the starry coordinates, Shi Chun quickly rode A San aloft.

Having flown some distance away, A San curiously asked, "Master, knowing there's nothing deep below, why let her busy herself?"

Without needing any prompting, A San turned to head back.

On the way, Shi Chun asked, "How deep did you dig earlier?"

Zhu Xiangxin replied, "Probably tens of miles deep, but found nothing, so I gave up."

Hearing she could dig that deep in such a short time, Shi Chun felt reassured.

Soon they landed on the sand where dozens of sandalwood gold gleamed.

"Exposed sandalwood gold looks like this?" Zhu Xiangxin marveled.

The scattered nuggets from before were incomparable to this.

Shi Chun pointed, "This implies surely there's more below, you should dig deeper, I'll check around."

He flashed back to the ground, seeing a 'tube' with a diameter of several tens of feet embedded in the sand, the hollow center resembling a water well, except with thicker walls and inside, Zhu Xiangxin was out of sight, having descended swiftly.

While Shi Chun deliberated whether to go down and see, he suddenly felt the wall shake, sensing something crushed deep within, the cracks extend up to the mouth, soon the well shattered and collapsed, buried by sand.

The man and steed waited under the beautiful starry sky.
