Enna Clark initially thought that after Wendy Hanson’s matter was sent to the hospital and informed the Hanson family, it would be over.

She didn’t expect Mr. Hanson to visit on the third day.

When Scott Harris led him into the Birch Garden Mansion, she was taken aback.

Mr. Hanson was wearing a tunic suit, and the navy blue color matched his temperament perfectly, making him appear warm and approachable. When he saw Enna Clark, he walked over with his cane and greeted her kindly, "Ms. Clark, long time no see. Please forgive this old man for coming unannounced to disturb you."

"No need, Grandpa Hanson. You’re too polite." Enna Clark snapped out of her daze and quickly asked Joanne Harrison to brew a cup of tea for him, helping him sit on the sofa.

At home, the two little ones, one had gone to school, and the other was taken away early in the morning by someone sent by Old Master Lawrence.

So only Enna and Scott Harris were left at home.

Joanne quickly brewed a pot of black tea, but for Enna Clark, she prepared milk and juice, natural drinks without any stimulation.

"Young Madam, yours." She placed Enna’s glass on the table and politely returned to the kitchen.

Enna Clark looked at the milk in front of her and felt like she wanted to die.

These days, she’s been drinking milk daily, which has led her to feel a bit nauseous at the smell of milk now. Unfortunately, everyone at home ignored her protests and persuaded her to drink at least one cup a day with various tactics.

Accepting her fate, Enna picked up the cup, took a sip, and swallowed it down, suppressing the urge to gag in her throat. She quietly waited for Mr. Hanson, who had visited proactively, to speak.

Mr. Hanson was quite composed. Like her, he first took a slow sip of tea before praising, "This Big Red Robe Tea is a variety Old Man Lawrence treasures, right? The taste is indeed different from what I can buy."

Enna Clark wasn’t knowledgeable about tea; she didn’t pretend to understand and gently said, "This tea was given to me by Grandpa, I don’t usually drink tea, so I don’t know if it’s good. If Grandpa Hanson likes it, I’ll have Joanne pack some for you later."

Mr. Hanson waved his hand and said with a smile, "Forget it, forget it, this was given to you by Old Man Lawrence. If I take his granddaughter-in-law’s tea, he’ll be angry with me."

"Grandpa isn’t a petty person, Grandpa Hanson doesn’t need to worry," Enna Clark remained poised and graceful.

Mr. Hanson gave her a look of appreciation, suddenly sighed, and his smile faded, showing exhaustion and loneliness, "Ms. Clark, thank you for the past few days. I’ve heard about it, it was you who had someone help send my troublesome granddaughter to the hospital. I really don’t know how to thank you."

Enna Clark knew he couldn’t have come just for a simple visit, likely for something else. Mr. Hanson even purposely chose a time when Baron Lawrence wasn’t home, apart from Wendy, she couldn’t think of another reason.

Since Mr. Hanson spoke, she couldn’t pretend not to hear. She straightened her back, speaking gently and calmly, "It was the right thing to do; I would do the same for anyone else."

Mr. Hanson looked into her eyes, hesitant for a moment before finally speaking, "Ms. Clark, my granddaughter has congenital heart disease; I think you must have heard the doctor mention it before. Honestly, I don’t know what to do. She’s fixated on President Lawrence, I’ve talked to her and scolded her, but she won’t listen. Otherwise, her emotions trigger her condition, and I really have no way to handle her..."
