Chapter 1737: Journey to the Netherworld Clan

Qin Mu looked at Qin Yi with a smile, "Ning Tian asked me to tell you he's waiting for you to return to Earth."

Qin Yi felt a tingling in his scalp.

"Old Qin, you're really ditching me here."

Qin Mu grinned, "I admire Qin for your skills in gossiping, but since you're bold enough to talk, you must bear the consequences."

"Cut it out, as if I'm afraid of him." Qin Yi raised his head defiantly, a look of disdain on his face, whether your head's out there or tucked in, it's all the same; he's not scared of a chicken feather.

Besides, at most, he'd just never go to the secret realm again; Ning Tian couldn't possibly come looking for him.

"Old Qin, it's been so long, why hasn't your clone set off yet?" Qin Yi asked. Actually, it's just a strand of divine thought, but Qin Yi habitually calls it a clone.

Qin Mu lazily replied, "Why hurry? It'll be a day's time anyway to get there."

Qin Yi secretly clicked his tongue, having spent several years on this journey. Qin Mu could reach it in a day; this guy's cultivation is simply terrifying.

"Old Qin, let's discuss something."

Qin Mu looked at him.

Qin Yi grinned, "Since your clone is still on Earth, why not go see my wife and kids, and my sister while you're at it."

Qin Mu shook his head and refused.

"I suppose you'll be going back soon enough anyway, why hurry, you can check on them yourself when you return."

Qin Yi raised an eyebrow; the Netherworld Clan isn't so easy to deal with, it could take a long while.

"If you don't agree, forget it. Just make sure you don't drop the ball when we're dealing with the Netherworld Clan."

Qin Mu rolled his eyes and turned away to sunbathe.

...

...

The next day, afternoon.

Qin Mu found Qin Yi who was chatting with Lang Ya and others.

"Let's go."

"Where to?" Qin Yi asked instinctively.

Qin Mu looked at him like he was a fool, "Of course, the Netherworld Clan."

"Weren't you waiting for your clone to arrive?"

Qin Mu raised his eyebrows slightly, "It's already here."

"Where?" Qin Yi and others curiously looked around.

"Far in the horizon, right in front of your eyes," said Qin Mu.

Qin Yi was startled, "You mean you're that clone now?"

"Just a strand of divine thought."

"Damn, when did you arrive? How come I didn't notice at all?"

"If my whereabouts could be detected by you, wouldn't that be too much of a failure? Maybe in a thousand years, you'll be able to notice."

Qin Yi's mouth twitched slightly, this show-off doesn't realize it won't take a hundred years for him to stand on equal footing with Demon King Chu and Qin Mu.

He looked at Qin Mu in front of him, felt no difference from before. This guy must be bluffing; maybe the strand of divine thought on Earth hasn't come at all.

Qin Mu was able to see through Qin Yi's thoughts and sneered, "Stop looking! If you, a rookie, could tell the difference between the previous me and the current one, then you wouldn't be a rookie."

Qin Yi rolled his eyes dramatically.

"Old Qin, let me tell you, don't joke about this. If you get killed by the Netherworld Clan, it doesn't matter, since it's not your true body. But if something happens to us, we'd be done for."

"What do you mean it doesn't matter if I get killed? This divine thought incarnation is very important to me." Qin Mu paused after speaking, then jokingly cursed, "You've led me astray; as long as I'm here, nothing can go wrong."

Qin Yi turned back and whispered to Lang Ya and others, "Once we reach the Netherworld Clan, everyone protect yourselves and stay sharp. This guy looks unreliable; if anything goes wrong, just bolt, got it?"

Lang Ya and the others nodded silently.

Qin Mu's mouth twitched.

Qin Yi waved his hand grandly, "Let's go."

...

...

Above the Nether Sea, giant waves surging to the sky.

A massive black island floated on the sea like a terrifying fierce beast.

On the island, the buildings stretched endlessly, densely packed.

Outside the island, a great array envelops it.

This is Netherworld Island, where all Netherworld Clan members reside.

The flow of Netherworld Clan people going in and out was constant and unending.

A streak of red light cut through the void, quickly approaching Netherworld Island.

An enormous and enchanting red lotus, not smaller than Qin Yi's Sun Traveling Boat.

Upon the red lotus, a figure stood in front, clad in pure white, immaculate, skin like snow, features flawless, a flame-shaped cinnabar mark on her brow, beautiful yet bizarre.

Behind her, a man and a woman both clad in silver garments.

The man's appearance was handsome, face cold, with lips pressed tightly.

The woman was not old, yet full of charm with a seductive power behind every frown and smile.

Lastly, a person dressed in red, neither male nor female, holding a pipa in their arms, slight bow of respect on their face.

"Netherworld King, do you think the Clan Leader suddenly summoning us back means something big is happening?"

The seductive woman spoke, her voice clear and melodious, tinged with enchantment.

The stunning woman standing at the front seemed as if she did not hear, remaining silent.

The seductive woman giggled, "Perhaps the Clan Leader is dying, summoning us back to discuss his affairs."

The cold-faced man said solemnly, "Cease such talk, this is not our Red Lotus Island, mind your words."

The seductive woman chuckled, "Brother, you're too cautious, even if the Clan Leader is Sharp-Hearing Ear, can't hear us badmouth him from this distance."

"Your brother is right, don't speak recklessly."

The stunning woman at the front turned back, saying gently, her expression somewhat helpless.

The seductive woman glanced at the silent man in red behind, "Oh, I almost forgot about you. You're a Netherworld Clan member, you wouldn't betray us, would you?"

The man in red said solemnly, "I only serve the Netherworld King, others are irrelevant to me."

The seductive woman snorted coldly, "You're wise, if not for the Netherworld King's mercy, I'd have killed you long ago."

The man in red responded in silence.

The red lotus descended slowly, landing in the square before Netherworld Island.

The four disembarked from the red lotus, only to see the red lotus quickly shrink, turning palm-sized, disappearing into the stunning woman's hand.

"Red Lotus Netherworld King, you've finally arrived, I've waited for you for so long."

Upon hearing this, everyone looked up and saw a tall man clad in black brocade who would pass as handsome if not for his overly pale complexion, striding over.

This man was fixated on the breathtaking face of the Red Lotus Netherworld King, a look of obsession in his eyes.

The seductive woman frowned, "This shameless dog is here again. Looking so feeble yet daring to covet the beauty of our Netherworld King, truly unaware of his ugliness, like a horse unaware of its long face."

Red Lotus Netherworld King remained expressionless, watching the approaching man halt, her tone indifferent, "Heavenly Defect Netherworld King."

The man in red furrowed his brow, full of disdain, the infatuation of Heavenly Defect Netherworld King with Red Lotus Netherworld King was no secret in the Netherworld Clan; given his appearance, he dares covet Red Lotus Netherworld King, truly like a toad lusting after swan meat.

However, Heavenly Defect Netherworld King wasn't an ordinary Netherworld King, his father was the Clan Leader, his cultivation was incredibly high, and his status esteemed. If it were any other Netherworld King, a war might have already started.

Heavenly Defect Netherworld King's face was full of desire, "Red Lotus Netherworld King, everyone in the Netherworld Clan knows my intentions. Have you considered what I said last time?"
