"Alright once you've finished giving your statements, you can go. After all, you were the ones who caught the thief."

Inside the police station, a young officer said to Scarlett and Andrew.

"Okay."

Scarlett nodded.

Officer Wilson then asked, "Miss, the person who called me said Andrew was here, but I don't see him anywhere."

"Him?"

Scarlett looked puzzled and turned toward "Andrew," who was sitting quietly to the side without saying a word.

The "girl" immediately shook her head repeatedly, causing the purple wig to sway from side to side.

Scarlett instantly understood and replied, "Um... Andrew had something to do, so he went home early."

"I see. No wonder I didn't find him."

Officer Wilson then smiled and said, "It must have been quite a shock encountering something like this. Let me give you two a ride home."

"No need. We drove here."

Seeing Scarlett politely decline, Officer Wilson didn't insist and escorted the two outside.

Before leaving, he said, "Your friend seems quite frightened. She hasn't said a single word. Make sure to comfort her when you get back."

"Oh... okay."

Andrew: "..."

Back in the parking lot, Catherine was already squatting beside the car waiting for them.

The moment she saw Andrew and Scarlett returning, she hurriedly stood up. However, her legs had gone numb from waiting so long, and she nearly fell over.

"You're finally back! Waiting made my legs go numb. Why did it take so long?"

"Because Andrew couldn't speak for some reason, I had to spend some time explaining everything to the officer," Scarlett replied.

After explaining, Scarlett looked at the beautiful-looking Andrew and raised an eyebrow.

"You can talk now, right? There aren't any acquaintances around."

"Haa..."

Andrew let out a long sigh of relief.

Scarlett looked at him with some confusion.

"Weren't you having a great time at the comic convention? You didn't seem awkward at all while we were walking around."

In fact, Scarlett had secretly wondered whether Andrew had cross-dressed before. Otherwise, how could he have acted so naturally the entire time?

Hearing her question, Andrew immediately explained,

"Officer Wilson knows me. He's one of my dad's friends. If he found out and told my dad, I'd have to move to another planet."

Scarlett pouted slightly and looked at him with disdain.

"Your skin is that thick, yet you're still afraid of something like that?"

"Th-That's different!"

Andrew became flustered and immediately shifted all the blame onto Catherine.

"It's all Older Sister's fault! She insisted that I cross-dress. Otherwise, none of this would've happened."

Catherine, who had been quietly eating her ice cream, was suddenly dragged into the argument and looked utterly bewildered.

After staring blankly for several seconds, she finally exploded.

"What does that have to do with me?! I never suggested it!"

"Weren't you the one who provided the clothes? If you hadn't agreed, would I have worn them?"

"Damn it! You're completely shameless! You're seriously dumping all the blame on me?"

Only then did Catherine realize what had happened.

Andrew didn't dare vent his frustration at Scarlett, so he redirected all of it toward her instead.

"Alright, you two, stop arguing."

Scarlett interrupted them before asking,

"Since we're not going back to the comic convention, should we head home, or go somewhere else?"

"Of course we should keep hanging out! It's rare for us to come out in the first place!"

Both Catherine and Andrew were homebodies. Since they had finally convinced themselves to go out, they didn't want to end the day so early.

The three spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around, buying plenty of snacks and frozen ready-made meals.

After all, Andrew cooked every day, and even he sometimes got tired of deciding what to make. It wasn't a bad idea to be lazy once in a while and eat some ready-made food instead.

As they wandered around, all three of them received countless friend requests from unfamiliar college students.

Scarlett either politely shook her head or ignored them altogether.

Catherine usually refused them as well.

Only Andrew accepted every single request and added them all.

On the drive home, Scarlett finally couldn't help asking,

"Do you have some strange hobby? Why are you adding all these strangers?"

"I'm teaching these lovesick college guys a lesson," Andrew replied matter-of-factly.

"They shouldn't be adding random strangers so casually."

"..."

Catherine mercilessly exposed him.

"He's just bored and looking for something to entertain himself."

Then she glanced at Andrew, who was driving.

"You'd better be careful. What if some guy turns out to be gay and tries to meet up with you in real life?"

"Don't worry."

Andrew grinned.

"The contact information I gave them wasn't mine."

Andrew raised an eyebrow smugly.

"Someone as clever as me would never casually give out my own contact information."

Hearing that, Catherine immediately frowned and exclaimed,

"Wow! You're absolutely evil! No, I need to stay away from you from now on. One day you might sell me off without me even realizing it."

Even Scarlett, sitting in the passenger seat, couldn't help thinking that Andrew was devious to the core.

As evening approached, Andrew received an angry phone call from Ethan.

"Did you give out my contact information to random people again?"

Andrew grinned.

"Isn't your old man here just helping you find love?"

"Damn it!"

Ethan had been wandering around the comic convention that afternoon when he suddenly received a flood of friend requests. After accepting them, every one of them asked whether he had a girlfriend, and some even wanted to meet up. It scared him so badly that he almost called the police.

"Find love, my ass! They're all guys! I'm warning you—I took pictures of you cross-dressing today. Be careful, or I'll show them to Ryan and the others."

Ethan tried to threaten Andrew, but Andrew wasn't intimidated in the slightest.

"Go ahead. I just won't admit it's me. I barely recognize myself when I'm cross-dressed."

"You really are shameless!"

Ethan was completely helpless against Andrew's thick skin.

After bickering for a while, Ethan suddenly changed the subject.

"By the way, Andrew, weren't you always interested in college esports? Are you interested in sponsoring an esports team?"

Andrew immediately sat up.

"What's going on?"

"My cousin started an esports team called XLG, but their results have been terrible, so they can't find any sponsors."

"So you want me to clean up the mess?"

"It's not really a mess. You could either sponsor the team or buy it outright. My cousin's at the end of his rope. It probably wouldn't cost much to acquire it."

"We'll talk about it after New Year's. It's almost the holidays, and I don't want to deal with business right now."

"Fair enough."

Ethan originally wanted to ask Andrew to play a few games with him, but Andrew thought Ethan's skills were terrible and refused without hesitation.

After hanging up, Andrew looked at the time and walked into the living room to prepare dinner.

The moment he entered, he saw Scarlett sitting on the sofa, quietly eating an ice cream cone.

"Teacher!"

"Hmm?"

Scarlett looked up at him in confusion.

Andrew immediately hurried over.

"How can you be eating ice cream in the middle of winter? And it's already the middle of the month!"

"Mmm..."

Truthfully, Scarlett hadn't planned on eating ice cream. But after seeing Catherine eating one, she couldn't resist the temptation.

She knew eating something cold at this time wasn't good for her, so she lacked confidence when replying to Andrew.

"I'm only having one. It'll be fine."

"No. You can't eat it."

Andrew's attitude was unusually firm, his expression completely serious.

Scarlett was momentarily stunned.

She had never expected Andrew to be so assertive with her. For a brief moment, she was even too surprised to continue eating.

Isn't this little troublemaker usually afraid of me?

However, her stubborn side surfaced.

She turned her head away with a huff.

"I'm going to eat it! Even if I get a stomachache, it's none of your business."

"No."

Andrew scolded her once more in an unusually stern voice.

Scarlett ignored him and opened her mouth, preparing to take another bite.

But before she could...

Andrew suddenly leaned forward, took a large bite out of the ice cream cone in her hand, and swallowed more than half of it, leaving behind only a small piece of the crispy wafer cone.

"Eh?!"
