Living With My Yandere Professor
Chapter 177: Stay Here
Andrew didn’t have many clothes, so he quickly packed them up and hung them in the wardrobe.
Afterward, he took Scarlett’s suitcase to her bedroom.
Although he had been here several times, Andrew had never properly looked around the room.
Scarlett’s room was simply decorated, without too many flashy knick-knacks. The Psyduck Andrew had given her was sitting on the sofa, hugging its head.
Even though no one had lived in the room for a month and a half, a faint, pleasant fragrance still permeated the air.
Andrew didn’t understand why. Perhaps this was the unique body scent of an older sister figure.
After looking around, Andrew opened Scarlett’s wardrobe, then opened her suitcase, took out all the clothes inside, and prepared to put them away one by one.
Compared to when she had returned home, Scarlett’s suitcase contained a few more cosplay outfits, all given to her by Catherine.
However, Scarlett hadn’t worn them since that one comic convention.
Andrew wanted Scarlett to wear them, but she refused, and he couldn’t do anything about it.
Looking at these cosplay outfits, Andrew sighed and hung them in the wardrobe.
Then he put the down jackets and pants into the wardrobe as well.
What remained in the suitcase were socks, stockings, and a few small pieces of clothing.
Andrew had never seen Scarlett wear these small items. During the winter break, when they slept together, Scarlett would simply put on her pajamas after showering; she wouldn’t wear these items underneath.
Curiously, he picked one up to look at it. "What cup size are Scarlett’s bras? They don’t look like they’re small."
Andrew wanted to check whether there was a size tag so he would know the measurements when buying this type of clothing for Scarlett in the future. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find one, so he neatly put it back in the wardrobe.
After organizing everything in the suitcase, Andrew also carefully examined Scarlett’s wardrobe.
Although the wardrobe wasn’t large, it was full of hanging clothes.
However, there were many items Andrew had never seen Scarlett wear, and they were all made of very thin material.
Suddenly, a thin silk slip dress caught Andrew’s eye.
"Huh? Scarlett definitely wouldn’t wear such a flimsy dress outside. Why are there several similar ones in the wardrobe?"
"Could they be pajamas? But Scarlett’s pajamas are usually very plain, either that thick cotton one-piece or just regular shirts and pants."
Just as Andrew was about to take one out for a closer look, Scarlett called out to him.
"Little Chen Zi, are you done packing?"
"I’m done."
Having been called by name, Andrew let go of the dress, closed the wardrobe, and went to the study.
"What’s up?"
"I’m a little hungry. Why don’t you go buy something to eat? While you’re out, grab some cat food too."
"Okay."
Andrew immediately went out. After being busy preparing dinner, he forgot about the few slip dresses he had seen in the wardrobe that evening.
As the start of the semester approached, Scarlett had more things to deal with, and the time she spent glued to Andrew decreased significantly.
Andrew didn’t want to bother Scarlett, so whenever she was busy, he went to the studio to check on Hannah and the others.
After looking at the development and financial reports from the winter break, Andrew couldn’t help praising Hannah.
"Not bad! You actually secured so much sponsorship! And the user base has increased quite a bit."
Hannah stretched, propped her head up, and said slowly, "With the start of school in the next few days, the number of new users will increase even more. I integrated quite a few university forums and confession walls during the break."
"Good, good. As expected of a woman who could thrive even in a pyramid scheme, you really have some skills."
Hearing this, Hannah wasn’t sure whether Andrew was complimenting her or teasing her.
But she didn’t care and started bargaining with Andrew.
"Alright, I worked overtime throughout the entire winter break, without even resting during the New Year. I won’t ask you for any bonus or anything, so you don’t have to be stingy to death again."
"What are you talking about! Am I really that cheap?!"
"Aren’t you?"
Hannah glanced at Andrew speechlessly and continued, "Give me a week off so I can rest and have some fun."
"That works, but whether you’re on vacation or not, you need to find someone to cover your work. Don’t cause any trouble."
"Don’t worry, I’ve arranged everything. I’ve hired over ten more people recently. Oh, and these few classrooms aren’t enough anymore. I suggest you rent a proper office space outside."
Hannah said this while packing her things, preparing to go on vacation.
However, Andrew called her back. "Wait a moment."
"Oh dear."
"Don’t say ’oh dear.’ I just have one question for you."
Andrew interrupted Hannah as she was about to leave. "You’re graduating soon anyway. I wanted to ask if you know whether the school allows students to apply for off-campus housing without their parents present, and whether such applications are approved."
"Huh? An off-campus housing application?"
Hannah was stunned for a while before remembering.
"It shouldn’t be allowed. Actually, our school is so strict because, a few years ago, a student moved off campus and died suddenly. That incident had a huge impact, which is why they have this requirement."
"By the way, Boss, isn’t your family quite wealthy? Can’t you have your dad or mom take a day off work to accompany you to meet the dean and sign the paperwork?"
Andrew pursed his lips speechlessly. "If it were that easy, why would I ask you?"
"Then I don’t know. Anyway, I still live on campus."
Hannah spread her hands helplessly.
Suddenly, she thought of an idea.
"Oh, right! You can ask the landlady to accompany you! The dean might not trust anyone else, but he’ll surely trust Scarlett."
"Do you think that will work? Scarlett isn’t my guardian. I’m afraid the dean still won’t agree."
"Just tell him you two live together! Is the dean really going to worry about that?"
"Hmm..."
Andrew thought about it and realized that the idea might actually work.
So, when he returned to the rental apartment that evening, he brought up the matter with Scarlett.
"Teacher, do you think this will work?"
Andrew explained the idea to Scarlett exactly as Hannah had suggested it.
Scarlett pouted and pondered for a moment. "I can’t say for sure. The dean is quite serious, so I feel like he still won’t agree."
"Then what should I do? I can’t really go back to school to live, can I?"
Andrew said it casually, but Scarlett became even more agitated than he was and shouted, "Absolutely not!"
This shout startled Cecilia, who was darting around the living room, making him jump. Thinking Scarlett was about to lose her temper, he immediately hid in the corner, trembling.
"You absolutely cannot go back to school to live!"
Seeing Scarlett’s agitated reaction, Andrew felt that if he actually went back to live on campus, Scarlett would probably go crazy.
"Then, if there’s really no other way, should I ask my dad to help out again?"
If there was truly no other option, Andrew would have to rely on his mysterious father’s mysterious connections again.
"No need to trouble him. I have a way. Anyway, you just need to stay here obediently. Don’t think about anything else."
Scarlett stared intently at Andrew, with a hint of threat in her tone.
Andrew couldn’t help swallowing. Why did he always feel like something bad was going to happen in the future?
