The tunnels are one of the contested point in this war.

Azief could see it even when he is walking leisurely above them

"It is amazing that the wall of those tunnel could absorb the power of these people fighting. Whether it be the elemental power or psionic power, or even those plasma and laser weapon, the shock absorbency of these walls is just one of a kind"

" In any other places the shockwaves of these people would bring down buildings. But the wall is still standing"

Azief could not help but think those craftsman really did not spare all the good materials when building these tunnels

He even had the inclination to reward them later. Maybe giving them, some raise or bestow them some title.

But it is not only fighting in the tunnels.

Some Disk Formation leveler pummel each other deep into the ground.

Some phases though the ground and fight each other deeper into the Earth

If this was before he rearranges the world or if this is before the world expanded, their fight would reach the Earth’s core.

But now because the world is larger, the core is also harder to reach and it is harder for these people to just fight right to the core of the earth

And in a magical world....the core of the Earth is quite different than before. Before, Earth core had to conform to the rules and laws of a world without magic.

After the Fall, the core of the Earth have certain magical elements to it and a new rules and laws are imposed on it.

Azief did not look long at those people fighting below ground.

He is close now.

Close to the end of his cultivation realm.

So close that he almost could taste it

Sovereign realm.

"peopled reams of it yet I am so close. And I am not even a million years old"

Even though Azief said this to himself, he could not help but sigh.

He should feel happy. After all, he had always wanted to be strong.

He believes being strong means he could protect all that is dear to him

He would have been happy if he did not know what is in the background.

If he did not know his own fate and destiny, did not know why he would have such luck, he probably would have been happy in ignorance.

But he could not be happy.

Because he knew for this kind of luck, the kind of calamity that would befall him would surely be one of a kind

And that is not a compliment to the kind of fate that is in store for him. It is a kind of a dread, a terrifying promise.

That is why he understood Sina worries for him and why he understood the pessimism.

It should not be possible for a galaxy, no....no...to be more absurd a planet to produce a Sovereign this early in its evolution.

This world is just evolving. The World Source weren’t even on Earth for a hundred years and someone is already about to breakthrough to Sovereign realm?

That would be beyond impossible. But...that impossible thing is about to happen

"of course, when I am breaking through, it is not like I reach the peak in one go. That is Sina misunderstanding" Azief himself did not assuage Sina fears and did not tell her his true plans.

Sometimes, the more secretive it is, the better.

Some plans when they are being talked about would only become more susceptible to failure.

Azief is not worried people would try to sabotage his plans.

He worries that intangible concepts would try to sabotage his plans. Things like fate, destiny, cause and effect, karma and the likes.

These things....have a way of hindering him when it matters.

The more the world doesn’t know, the more secure he felt.

He could feel these intangible things observing him.

And unlike people or beings, he could not really destroy these intangible things.

They are a part of the rules and laws that exists

"I have an advantage over others. I do not only have the fate and luck; I also have the All Source in the planet. This two condition should allow the people of this world to have great luck and fortune. But even after these two condition, I have another advantage"

For others after they reached the peak realm of Essence Creation, there lies an abyss.

That abyss is Sovereign realm.

Even Azief was actually stuck in that spot for a while.

But he had the Etherna knowledge to give him hint and clues. This is another one of his advantage. He had the Etherna Codex.

"No...it is not clues. It is the answer"

Sovereign is the ultimate realm. In some realm it is called the Supreme realm. In some it is called Sages.

True Divinity, Eternal Existence, Divine Immortal, Immortal Emperors, Demonic Fiendgod, Devilish Celestials all the great beings that reached the peak of fame and power , this is the first obstacle and the largest obstacle.

Break through the Sovereign realm!

Survive the Sovereign tribulations!

Regardless of hat name it is called, it is the watershed between mortal and gods.

Those who reached Sovereign is truly free from any danger in the Omniverse.

In the Omniverse only those with Sovereign realm could defeat another Sovereign realm.

No artifacts that is lower than Sovereign realm could even hurt or affect those in Sovereign realm.

It is not that in this world there is no Sovereign realm artifact.

There is.

But consequently, most Sovereign realm artefact could only be wielded by a Sovereign realm beings.

In other words, it still returns to the rule and law that only Sovereigns could defeat or hurt Sovereigns.

And even then, while it is true that Sovereign could only be hurt by Sovereigns and killed by Sovereign’s, if there is a fight breakout between Sovereigns, you could always fly away.

And if you fly away, most of the time those Sovereigns would be able to run.

And since Sovereign has a lot of time to live most of any conflict between Sovereign would be forgotten or be forgiven after a few millions’ years.

And if a few millions of years is not enough, then maybe after eons, they could forget the grudge.

However, Sovereigns are a temperamental bunch. The most outstanding among them could restrain themselves but the ones that are not, is sometimes being controlled by their emotions more than they controlled their emotions and sometimes it is these flaws that could bring down these Sovereign down.

But this goes to show, when you reached Sovereign realm, you are truly unrestrained.

A Sovereign is also not like easily found.

Some of them are so far away that unless you travels trillion of light years away you would not even found civilization.

And Sovereign usually guarded their civilizations.

It is either that or they have a part in creating sprawling space empire.

Either through diplomacy or through force, the Sovereigns itself rarely interferes in this mortal undertaking.

It doesn’t top mortals from using the Sovereigns of their world as backing.

In the eyes of the Sovereign, everything is an ant.

A slightly stronger ant is still....an ant.

Sovereigns are like this. No different than gods.

Azief has a threat on his life and everyone he cars about.

Before, he only felt it. But after his meeting with Wargod, Odin and the Sage Monkey, he knows it for sure.

And the kind of force that sic coming for him and his love one is an unstoppable force

An enemy he did not truly understand.

But an enemy he still ahs to fight nonetheless. Because the alternative is to give up and let all the people he loves falls into damnation.

And Azief......this Azief....would not go down without a fight.

Did Azief went crazy after knowing the threat to his life and trying to break through to Sovereign right now? No, he is very calm.

Because....his method is different.

Because he walks the path of the Etherna. And the path of Etherna is different from normal method of breaking through to Sovereign

When The Etherna existed, Sovereign realm did note exist.

Azief had noticed something from the information he gleans from the Etherna Codex and from the explanation that Wargod told him about the Sovereign realm

Then he had also compare it to the other people he knew and extrapolate certain hypothesis and projection.

Jean, Raymond, Hikigaya Oreki, he compared it to these people.

The people he believes could reach Sovereign realm

Also, because he had a feeling. And these kind of feeling he felt....is more like a premonition.

Azief very much trusted these premonition. It did not yet failed him

And Azief reach to one conclusion.

These people when they reached the Essence Creation realm and reach the peak, would at least tries to refine their Three Treasures.

Azief refers these as three treasures. Maybe someday, people would classify it something different.

The people who refines these three treasures could be said to reach Half Sovereign.

They possessed powers and ability beyond that of the Sovereign.

But they are not exactly Sovereign.

In other words, even if they reached this realm, the Half Sovereign realm could not defeat a Sovereign being.

And Half Sovereign also has a difference of strength between each other.

But whether one is a Sovereigns or a half step to Sovereign, one has to refine the three treasures before they could be qualified to be one of these
