Chapter 1419: Evidence Delivered to Jose Floyd (Part 2)

Andrea Greenwood’s face went deathly pale. She looked at Arlo Seys, full of hate yet helpless to do anything, the perfect picture of "can’t stand him but can’t take him down."

Arlo Seys glanced at the time and stood up, his expression cool and aristocratic: "Make a copy of all this evidence, duplicate the contents of the voice recorder, and deliver it to a man named Jose Floyd at Clearflower Estate. Remember, you must hand it directly to Jose Floyd himself. Tell him these are things about his fiancée that I had you send over."

"Yes, Young Master Seys!"

Arlo Seys finished speaking and walked out.

Andrea Greenwood’s face instantly went white. "Arlo Seys! You’re only putting me through this for your sister’s sake because you’re riding on the Seys Family’s power!"

Arlo Seys didn’t slow his steps. His cold, mocking voice drifted back: "Then in your next life, pick your parents right. Get yourself born into a family background stronger than Nicole’s. But looking at you, you’re destined to be crushed under Nicole forever. As long as I’m around, you’ll always be under her heel."

Arlo Seys’s figure disappeared at the interrogation room door.

Andrea Greenwood’s face was chalk white. The officer next to her couldn’t help but sneer: "Who doesn’t know the Seys Family Crown Prince has always kept a low profile? Only you would be dumb enough to court death by hurting Miss Seys. Young Master Seys has just this one little sister, and he spoils her to death. You’re the one digging your own grave. You tried to hurt Miss Seys but failed, and instead hurt Young Master Seys’s wife! How could he possibly just let that go? Everyone knows Young Master Seys dotes on his wife. You hurt Young Madam Seys—might as well have signed your own death warrant."

All color drained from Andrea Greenwood’s face. She was so scared even her fingers were trembling.

She’d thought Nicole was easy to bully. She’d pushed her around so many times and never saw Nicole fight back, so she treated her like some soft persimmon. But she forgot Nicole’s identity, forgot the Seys Family standing behind her...

The police took Andrea Greenwood’s evidence and headed to Clearflower Estate. By coincidence, Olivia Summer and Jose Floyd were in the living room, the mother and son in the middle of yet another unpleasant argument.

"Jose, can’t you think of a way to help Andrea? Get her out, will you? She’s taken such painstaking care of me, and she’s your fiancée after all."

Jose Floyd’s expression was icy. "If you keep waving around the title of ’my fiancée’ for her, then she can stay in the station for the rest of her life and never come out."

Olivia Summer was so angered by Jose’s coldness that even her heart felt like it was trembling.

Just then, a servant came forward.

"Young Master, someone from the police is here. They say the Seys Family sent them with something for you."

Olivia Summer was already seething, frustrated at being unable to get Andrea out. Hearing the Seys Family was involved, she snapped, "What are they sending! It’s not like we’re close with the Seys Family!"

The servant shook his head. "I don’t know. But since it’s someone from the police, wouldn’t it be rude to turn them away?"

Jose Floyd pressed his thin lips together. "Let the officers in."

He actually wanted to see just what the Seys Family was sending over.

The officers came in, greeted Jose Floyd politely, then went straight to the point and handed the items over. "Mr. Floyd, this is something Young Master Seys from the Seys Family asked us to deliver to you. It concerns your fiancée."

Jose Floyd slanted a look at the officers and didn’t take it. His voice was flat and cold: "I don’t have a fiancée."

The officers looked awkward, their outstretched hands caught between pulling back and not daring to.

Olivia Summer shot the servant a look.

The servant immediately stepped up to take the things, set them on the coffee table, then retreated to the side.

"If there’s nothing else, we’ll get back to work. Mr. Floyd, goodbye."

Jose Floyd ignored the officers, his attitude frosty, and the servant hurried to see them out.

When the servant came back to Jose’s side, Jose spat out two cold words: "Open it."

"Yes, Young Master."
