Ryan immediately endured the pain and approached Iris, "Iris, you know your brother treats you the best, right? Don’t tell Dad, please!"

Iris rolled her eyes at Ryan, "With the way you look now, how could you possibly hide it? You know how smart Dad is."

Finley just happened to walk up to them, and Ryan put his arm around Finley’s shoulder, "I’m going to Uncle Sutherland’s house to stay with Finley until I’m healed, and then I’ll go home. Iris, don’t rat me out."

"From now on, we’ll go to and from school separately. You two have made such a scene today that everyone will know about it. I don’t want to be gawked at by the schoolmates like a monkey.
