Finley and Ryan did not raise their hands and quietly watched Iris Seys on the stage.

"Today, you need to have an hour of tutoring after school and then go home! Iris Seys, you better take it seriously!"

"Okay." Iris Seys lowered her head and stepped down from the podium.

Her deskmate looked at her with a pitiful expression, "Hey Iris Seys, what are you drawing! What a pity, you were caught daydreaming by Devil teacher, you can’t even handle such a simple question."

The deskmate said while grabbing Iris Seys’s textbook, and upon seeing a fancy word written on her book, exclaimed in surprise and asked quietly, "What is this drawing! ’Han’? Hey Iris Seys, your drawing isn’t great, but this fancy ’Han’ word actually looks pretty good."

"Give it back." Iris Seys snatched it over and neatly placed her book.

Their conversation caught the ear of Finley sitting nearby. Finley glanced slightly at the outline of Iris Seys and started scribbling heavier on his textbook.

Because she was criticized in class, Iris Seys felt very depressed, lacking her usual liveliness all day.

At the end of the school day, Ryan Seys pushed Finley Sutherland’s arm with a ping pong paddle, "Let’s go play against the sixth-graders, we’ll do doubles and beat them thoroughly."

Ryan has a carefree spirit, proud and unwilling to lose; if he starts a game, he won’t go home unless he wins. Finley glanced at someone retained by the teacher and spoke lightly, "You go ahead, I have something later."

"What’s up?" Ryan raised an eyebrow, "What could be important enough to ditch me! That’s not cool!"

Just then, a female classmate came over to ask Finley a question, and Finley glanced down slightly, "Alright, I’ll explain it to you."

Finley sat at his seat, earnestly writing down the analysis of the answer for the classmate step by step.

"You’re something, aren’t you? Finley, now you’re prioritizing girls over friends; is that really okay with you? Truly, brothers are like clothes you can toss around... Never mind, I’m going to find someone else to play solo." Ryan walked off with his paddle, smiling at Iris Seys left in the classroom, "I’ll wait for you at the gym to go back together, Iris, take your time with tutoring."

In response to Ryan’s schadenfreude figure, Iris Seys shot a disdainful look.

Finley ripped the answers and detailed analysis off the paper and handed it to the classmate, his voice was indifferent, and his expression was equally apathetic, "Here’s the answer and analysis process, take a look at it at home."

"Finley—can you explain it to me now?" The female classmate shyly scratched her head.

"The steps written here are very clear, take it home and look. I have something later... Ryan invited me to play ball." Finley calmly used Ryan as an excuse.

The female classmate pouted, "Alright then...."

The whole classroom was already empty, leaving Iris Seys alone studying today’s taught content.

Finley’s presence beside Iris Seys made her jump, "Finley, what are you doing?"

"Giving you some tutoring." Finley casually took Iris Seys’s book and notebook, "Can’t even handle such simple questions from class, Iris Seys, are you a pig brain!"

"... Finley, that’s enough, I’m in a bad mood today, don’t provoke me."

Being called a pig is usually fine, but she’s feeling down now, if Finley pushes her, she might explode in front of him!

Finley gripped Iris Seys’s pen, glancing at her, "Pay attention in class, Iris Seys, if you want something, maintaining this attitude towards learning, frankly, you won’t achieve it...."
