Beau Haston chuckled, "Going out with a woman and not picking up the tab makes me look a bit weak. Please spare me, I feel guilty inside."

Lydia Brooke laughed out loud, "Alright, a big boss like you wants to treat, how could I refuse to take advantage?"

"Welcome to take advantage forever." Beau Haston laughed with great elegance.

Lydia Brooke’s face looked slightly unnatural.

Derek Brooke raised an eyebrow and smiled.

Meanwhile, the man at the neighboring table had a face as dark as a cold pool, radiating a chilly aura.

Beau Haston stood up to pay the bill, Derek Brooke had already finished eating, and Lydia Brooke was planning to leave with Derek Brooke.

Jorge Saxton noticed Lydia Brooke about to leave out of the corner of his eye and instinctively stood up, saying to Ember Wilson in front of him, "Let’s go, we’ve eaten enough, let’s go stroll elsewhere."

"Sure." Ember Wilson stood up, very happy to accompany Jorge Saxton, her face full of charming smiles.

Jorge Saxton stood up quickly and accidentally bumped straight into Derek Brooke, who was just getting out of his seat to leave.

"You—" Derek Brooke clutched his arm, glaring at Jorge Saxton.

Jorge Saxton hadn’t expected to bump into someone and had no intention of apologizing. He glared at Lydia Brooke, his expression clearly saying, "Aren’t you going to introduce your child?"

Lydia Brooke immediately turned her head upon hearing Derek Brooke’s voice, seeing Derek Brooke frowning at Jorge Saxton. His brows and eyes resembled the person before her, making her heart contract suddenly as she secretly gauged Jorge Saxton.

Fortunately, Jorge Saxton merely looked at her with bad intent and didn’t pay much attention to Derek Brooke, which calmed her heart rate a bit, but it was still racing fiercely.

"Derek, let’s go." Not daring for a moment to let the big and small ones meet again, Lydia Brooke just wanted to leave quickly.

"Uncle, next time walk more carefully, at least say ’sorry’ when you bump into someone. It’s basic etiquette." Derek Brooke said with an aloof expression to the silent Jorge Saxton.

Jorge Saxton only then looked at the boy before him properly and couldn’t help but be stunned.

This face resembled Lydia Brooke’s, but the child’s features were more defined and full of strength. As Jorge Saxton looked at the child before him, his mind couldn’t help but recall his youthful, ambitious self. He was sure that this child would be even more outstanding in the future, completely inheriting Lydia Brooke’s aura, carrying a star-like glowing presence.

Jorge Saxton looked at Lydia Brooke, recalling their unpleasant incident from a few days ago, pursed his thin lips, tone cool, "Miss Brooke, aren’t you going to introduce your relative to me?"

Because Ember Wilson was beside, and Lydia Brooke was a star, Jorge Saxton didn’t explicitly mention that the child beside her was Lydia Brooke’s son.

Lydia Brooke’s eyes lowered slightly, voice faint, "This is Derek, he’s eight years old this year."

Derek Brooke frowned slightly, looking at Lydia Brooke wanting to speak but hesitating, his gaze deep as it shifted to the uncle who bumped into him.

Jorge Saxton let out an "oh," his voice carrying a bone-chilling coldness, making Lydia Brooke’s fingertips involuntarily cold.

Jorge Saxton’s gaze fell upon the child, noting his tall and slender height, his gaze neutral, his tone even more nonchalant, "I’m an old friend of hers, sorry for bumping into you today. Let’s do this as an apology, I wonder if you’ll give me the chance for a meal together tomorrow, or wherever you wish to go, I’ll gladly accompany."

Derek Brooke’s gaze shifted between his mom and this uncle in front, "Uncle, so you’re acquainted with my Miss Brooke... May I ask what your surname is, uncle?"

In front of outsiders, Derek Brooke always referred to Lydia Brooke as Miss Brooke, with a casual flavor.
