Lustful Demon King: Summoned by the Demon Goddesses!
Chapter 356: Divine Realm Travel!
With that conversation finished, Jax left the administrative district to allow Sabrina to continue her work while he headed back to the Demon King Palace.
As he was walking, Jax decided to check his system and do some pulls, getting the rewards for his night with Serika.
[ Host has acquired Divine Realm Transportation Spell - A Spell made in ancient times that allows the user to teleport to regions within the Divine Realm that they have been at in the past. ]
[ Host has acquired PureCleansingArt – An Ancient Primordial Dual Cultivation Art that holistically cleanses the body, mind & soul. The cleansing cures all ailments, disorders, impairments etc. The Art also cleanses the mind and soul, bringing both partakers of the art to peak condition ]
Jax read the rewards, and the first person he thought of was Ashanti. The Blind Fallen Angel was someone Jax had planned on helping for a while, but he hadn’t found the right method of solving it as of yet.
However, with the Pure Cleansing Art, he’d easily be able to heal her.
After all, Ashanti’s blindness wasn’t just a random physical ailment, it was a wound to her soul, a constant reminder of a destiny that had been fractured that day.
He remembered the quiet strength in her voice when he’d first met her, the way her head tilted to catch the slightest sound, and the profound sadness that lurked beneath her calm demeanor.
With this in hand, Jax reached his private chambers and dismissed the guards with a wave of his hand. The heavy doors swung shut, enclosing him in opulent silence.
He didn’t waste a moment. "Send for Ashanti," he commanded to the empty air, knowing the magical communication system would relay his message to the Fallen Angel’s quarters.
While he waited, Jax paced the room, his mind racing. He needed to handle this with care. Ashanti was proud, but also deeply insecure about her condition.
He knew that she’d be apprehensive even though he had promised to help her, and the method he had found was one he could understand her being nervous about.
A soft knock echoed through the chamber a short while later. "Enter," Jax called out, his voice steady and calm.
The doors opened, and a figure stepped in, moving with a cautious, practiced grace. It was Ashanti.
She was tall, her raven black hair cascading down her back like a silken waterfall, a stark contrast to the silvery-white blindfold that covered her eyes. Even without her sight, her beauty was undeniable.
Her face was strikingly beautiful, with soft features, full lips, and high cheekbones. Her skin, the color of warm dusk, seemed to glow faintly in the candlelight.
She wore a simple, elegant white robe that did little to hide her slim, graceful form, her small but perky breasts and firm, alluringly smaller butt hinted at beneath the fabric.
"My Lord," she said, her voice a melodic alto. She bowed her head slightly, her hands clasped in front of her. "You summoned me?"
"Ashanti. Thank you for coming so promptly," Jax said, his tone gentle. He approached her, stopping a respectful distance away," Also, didn’t I tell you to call me Jax,"
He guided her towards a pair of plush armchairs near the grand balcony, his hand hovering near her elbow to offer silent support as she navigated the room with her other senses. She sat gracefully, her posture perfect, her head tilted towards him.
"I have news," Jax began, choosing his words with care. "Regarding your condition. I believe I have found a way to help you."
Ashanti’s breath hitched almost imperceptibly. Her hands, resting in her lap, clenched into small fists,"Jax, you said you would look, but I... I did not wish to get my hopes up. Many have tried."
"This is different," Jax stated, his voice firm with conviction. "I have acquired a... technique. An ancient art. It is called the Pure Cleansing Art. It is designed to holistically cure any ailment, physical or otherwise. It cleanses the body, mind, and soul, restoring them to their peak condition."
A flicker of something—hope, so raw and powerful it was almost painful to witness, crossed her delicate features. "Truly?" she whispered, her voice trembling, "You can... restore my sight?"
"I believe so," Jax confirmed. "The art is powerful. It should be able to repair the damage caused by your power’s overflow and restore your eyes to their natural state."
Tears welled up behind her blindfold, but she quickly blinked them away, a gesture of self-control that spoke volumes about her character, "Jax" she said, her voice thick with emotion.
"I... I don’t know what to say. What would you require of me? Any price, I will pay. I would serve you for the rest of my days, ten times over."
Jax held up a hand, even though she couldn’t see it. "There is no price, Ashanti. I made you a promise. However," he paused, knowing this was the critical part, "the method of the art is... unique. It is not a simple spell or potion."
He took a deep breath. "The Pure Cleansing Art is a form of Dual Cultivation."
The word hung in the air between them, heavy with implication. Ashanti went utterly still. Her head tilted, not towards him, but slightly downwards, as if she were processing the weight of his words. The faint blush that began to creep up her neck was visible even against her dusky skin.
"Dual... Cultivation, my Lord?" she asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I’m sure you know what that mean. The Act itself is a catalyst for the cleansing, which will heal you," Jax explained.
Silence. Ashanti’s fingers twisted in the fabric of her robe. Jax could practically hear the thoughts racing through her mind.
She was a Fallen Angel, raised in a community that cherished her, but she was also a woman who had heard the whispers ever since Jax had been summoned in this world of his proficiency in bed.
To a woman who had lived a life defined by a lack of physical connection, by a world perceived through sound and touch alone, the proposition was both terrifying and intoxicating.
"Will it... hurt?" she asked.
"No," Jax said immediately, his voice firm. "I swear to you, Ashanti. I will not let it hurt. The art itself is one of cleansing and restoration. The process should be one of pleasure, of building energy, not pain."
She was silent for a long moment, her head bowed. Jax waited patiently, giving her the space to decide. Finally, she took a deep, shuddering breath and lifted her head, her blindfolded face turned directly towards him as if she could see him.
"Okay," she whispered, a single word that held immense weight,"Jax, I will do it. I trust you."
A wave of relief washed over Jax. "You won’t regret this, Ashanti," he said, his voice soft. "We can begin whenever you are ready."
She nodded slowly. "I... I am ready now. The thought of waiting... I don’t think I could bear it."
"Very well," Jax said, rising from his chair. He offered her his hand. "Come. Let’s move to the bedchamber. It will be more comfortable."
She hesitated for a fraction of a second before placing her hand in his. Her touch was tentative, her fingers cool and slender.
He led her slowly towards the adjoining room, his grip firm and reassuring. The bedchamber was just as opulent, dominated by a massive, canopied bed draped in deep crimson and black silk.
