Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!
Chapter 1024 - 1023: The Turtle Drawing Masterstroke
Facing Jing Zhichen’s concern, Qin Xin appeared much more composed: "Isn’t it just drawing a turtle? Let me give it a try first."
Jing Zhichen nodded, his bright eyes were somewhat deep at the moment, hesitant to speak: "If you need help, let me know."
The model student couldn’t care less about exam rules at this point and subtly hinted at cheating.
After all, the little black room is quite scary, and he didn’t want her to fail and be locked in there.
However, the difficulty of cheating in this exam was quite high.
Everyone had to go on stage individually to present, making it hard to bluff through.
Qin Xin and company were in the last row and witnessed that out of the 50 or so students before them, half could only draw wobbly, incomplete turtles, while the other half drew unformed circles.
So, the other half all got 0 points, clearly destined for the little black room!
Amidst a chorus of sighs, it was Jing Zhichen’s turn to go on stage. His spiritual energy surged, and he directly drew a rose with chalk.
The instructor marveled, "Excellent!"
The students doomed for the little black room were on the verge of tears, knowing there was a gap between people, but not realizing it was this vast. Young Master Jing could use his mind to paint such a beautiful flower, while they couldn’t even draw a decent turtle.
However, Si Moyu, below the stage, sneered: "Ha, when I delivered a sea of roses to Xin, you were still running around in split pants."
Bai Chi was cautious: "When did you ever give flowers to Little Qingxin? Weren’t you pursuing my Little Sister-in-law? Don’t be unfaithful. If you want to fight for a woman, fight with Jue, not me."
Ao Xinghao rolled his eyes, feeling speechless towards the two: "Immature. With this skill, why not consider whether you’ll manage to even draw a turtle’s tail later."
Bai Chi rubbed his hands: "I..."
He glanced at Qin Xin, gauging the situation, and whispered, "Wife, oh no, sister, save me!"
Qin Xin ignored him.
It was her turn to take the exam.
She walked up to the podium gracefully, raised her hands, and chanted something.
The students below were divided into two camps.
One camp firmly believed: "Sister Xin will definitely pass. She’s the one who smashed the Academy’s treasure! And she passed the first two classes too."
The other camp was just as certain: "The ugly girl definitely won’t pass. She stayed after class the first session; who knows if Young Master Jing helped her pass the later ones? Now that no one’s helping, she’ll show her true colors!"
The argument between the two sides continued, the voices reaching Qin Xin’s ears. She just curved her lips slightly, gestured with her hands, causing the chalk on the podium to immediately start flying. It danced rapidly across the blackboard for a second, then fell back into the chalk box with a "thud."
Everyone’s eyes were dazzled!
Did it end without seeing anything?
"Wouldn’t she fail this time?"
"Did the chalk draw anything? Why didn’t I see it?"
"Wasn’t what she drew just a complete mess?"
Questions buzzed quietly.
Even the instructor frowned and sighed: "Lan, what was that maneuver?"
Qin Xin calmly replied: "Drawing."
Instructor: "But you were so quick..."
Qin Xin: "It shows my skill. Isn’t speed a good thing?"
Of course, she had to be quick; otherwise, what if they saw through the chrysanthemum petals under the chalk?
The instructor was helpless: "But what you drew can’t exactly be counted as passing..."
Qin Xin raised an eyebrow: "A character isn’t considered a drawing? Please look carefully. This is the ’turtle’ character in Ancient Seal Script."
The instructor was taken aback, glancing at the unfamiliar lines on the blackboard: "Ancient... Ancient Seal Script?"
