“I really want to know what his lips are saying as they open and close.”

“If my name could come out of his mouth, that would be super exciting!”

“I just want him to look at me, just once…”

“Ah ah ah, he’s heading toward our Medical College. Our college is having a competition today. Could he be the expert judge invited by the dean?”

“A man with such a strong presence, I’m afraid only the principal could invite him?”

“I won’t say more, I’m going to get a spot at the competition venue.”

“Wait, weren’t you going to grab concert tickets? Didn’t you say the college competition, this academic practical activity, was dull?”

“Hey, hey, aren’t you watching the concert and grabbing tickets anymore?”

A group of girls scattered and followed Nalan Ye Jue into the Medical College arena.

Only a lone girl posting a poster shrugged.

She glanced at the fine poster on the bulletin board: “The world’s youngest female piano artist, outstanding alumna of Imperial University, Lady Rose, is about to hold her first tour concert upon returning home!”

Lady Rose wore a backless red dress, with one foot resting on the piano.

Though her face couldn’t be seen, her confidence and skill were evident.

Lady Rose was quite generous, holding a concert at her alma mater and organizing a ticket purchase with a photo album giveaway, signing them on-site.

Rumor has it Lady Rose has many fans; even if one isn’t familiar with her music, having a signed photo album carries much prestige.

The girl posting the poster muttered, “You all are busy chasing after the uncle, don’t regret not grabbing tickets. Hmph, you’ll have to pay a high price if you want to buy them later.”

Saying this, she still couldn’t tear her gaze away while looking at Nalan Ye Jue’s straight and upright back.

Medical College.

Orthopedic laboratory.

The preliminary round of the college competition had already started.

Practical exercise: dissecting frog leg bones.

The anatomy experiment in sophomore year is definitely much harder than in freshman year.

The frog is tiny, and its leg bones are even smaller. To completely separate the leg muscles, blood vessels, and bones is not easy. Not to mention the joints and soft tissues of the leg bones— if you’re not careful, you could break them, wasting all prior efforts.

On the dissection table.

Hu Yi was pushed to the task, nervously glanced at the adjacent table’s Huo Zhen: “Little Zhenzhen, can you handle this? Quickly give me some guidance, I suddenly forgot where to cut first…”

In the front row, a boy from Class One snickered, “Hey, no talking in the competition, or it’s considered cheating. Oh, sorry, I forgot Class Two has a habit of cheating. How could your final grades surpass ours without cheating, haha, especially since that ugly nerd from your class isn’t here anymore…”

Hu Yi and Huo Zhen’s expressions immediately darkened.

Holding surgical knives, they started rolling up their sleeves: “Say ‘ugly’ again and see if we don’t mash your nose outside!”

The opponent shrunk his neck in fear, “Alright, alright, I won’t say it. Let’s see who wins the competition then.”

Hu Yi and Huo Zhen exchanged a glance, then looked down at their slightly shaking surgical blades, silently sighing.

Time passed slowly.

Most people on the field completed their dissections.

Hu Yi and Huo Zhen’s progress was slow.

How slow, you ask?

Even Gou Dachun, the invigilator on stage, couldn’t help but urge them, “Alright, alright, if you really can’t do it, just hand in a blank paper. Pity the frog, dissecting its leg bone like sharpening a pencil, not just once but several times…”

The players from Class One burst into laughter.
