Chapter 3912: Chapter 3912: He Is a Pure Madman

Shadow’s heart skipped a beat, immediately looking towards Lu Zhi.

Lu Zhi’s expression remained as indifferent as always, with his hand resting on his leg, showing no hint of emotional fluctuation, as if he hadn’t heard the man speak.

Shadow’s heart involuntarily sank, he opened his mouth: "Lu Zhi..."

He still had time to plead.

The young man sitting in the wheelchair slightly raised his eyelids, still looking straight ahead, completely ignoring them, and instructed the personal bodyguard pushing his wheelchair.

"Know my rules?"

The bodyguard behind him stood at 2 meters tall, with a burly physique akin to a moving mountain, nodded solemnly upon hearing the words: "I know."

Lu Zhi raised his hand and softly said, "Take him away."

"Yes."

The bodyguard released his hand and walked straight to the man who had interrupted, who looked at him with a fearful and anxious expression, questioning him: "What are you doing?" ℴ

The bodyguard pursed his lips, like a mute, stretched out his long arm, grabbed him by the collar, and walked him to a less crowded place.

"What are you doing! I’m from the reclusive family!"

"Let me go! How dare you touch me!"

"Lord Shadow, help me!"

The towering bodyguard dragged the struggling man as if holding a chick; no matter how much he flailed, he couldn’t escape from the bodyguard’s grip.

Shadow listened to the man’s cries for help, subconsciously furrowed his brow, and just started to speak to the person in the wheelchair: "Lu Zhi, he..."

He hadn’t finished his sentence when a gunshot rang out.

"Bang!"

Shadow abruptly turned his head, seeing the man who was struggling earlier getting shot in the head by Lu Zhi’s personal bodyguard. The toweringly tall man didn’t blink while releasing his grip, allowing the breathless man’s body to slide to the ground. He wiped his hands with a piece of paper, turned silently back to Lu Zhi’s side, and said in a low voice, "Sir, it’s done."

"Mm."

Lu Zhi responded quietly, not turning his head, looked politely at Shadow as if finally noticing him, and with a slightly apologetic tone said calmly, "Sorry, dealt with a rule-breaker for you."

He even smiled and asked, "The empress won’t mind, will she?"

Shadow, initially stunned, gradually calmed down, then faced Lu Zhi’s eyes that openly smiled but held no warmth.

He forcibly controlled his face’s twitching muscles, clenched his fist, held back the humiliation in his heart at that moment, and nodded to the other party: "Lu Zhi, please go ahead."

"That’s good."

Lu Zhi stowed away his smile, took a clean white handkerchief from his pocket, and began to wipe his fingers, which were slender and elegant, proportionate as if extremely soft.

He didn’t look at Shadow or the other members of the reclusive family, his long eyelashes drooped down, hiding the harshness in his eyes, his tone cold and forlorn.

"I don’t like others interrupting, especially in front of me. That’s the rule. You didn’t know before, but now you should."

Having said that, he just finished wiping his left hand.

Everyone watched as he dropped the used handkerchief to the ground, rolled his wheelchair over it, the once clean handkerchief quickly soiled completely.

Lu Zhi seemed to greatly appreciate this violent aesthetic, glanced around at the people Shadow brought: "Everyone, you may speak now."

The members of the reclusive family looked at each other, glancing back and forth, their mouths seemed sealed shut, no one dared to speak.

You must be joking.

Their companion’s bloody scent was still permeating the air.

Who would dare to cross Lu Zhi?

Lu Zhi chuckled lightly, seeming in a good mood: "Why, now I’ve given you a chance to speak and you’re quiet? If you really don’t say anything, I’ll assume you have no objections."
