Chapter 36: Hella Came to Take Arthur

Back at the dark alley.

Several people wearing cloaks that concealed their identity were gathered around a dismembered and disfigured corpse grinning madly like some sick and mentally ill people.

The man with defined physique that was their leader cackled before pointing at the crater where Kares should have been then at the bloody scene where Amy should have been.

"This, this is a proof that we, humans, are stronger and better than those supernaturals, we are above gods!"

His words looked fanatic and crazy but filled with passion and desire.

"Yeah, that’s right!" One of them said while raising his dagger in the air.

"We are stronger!"

"We are better!"

"All for the Loop!"

"Yes! All For The Loop!"

And slowly they looked more like some group celebrating some joyous occasion, the scene was weird and unsettling.

"You did good job."

A voice came out in the middle of their celebration making them stop and looked at him.

He leaped of the roof of a building landing softly in front of the group of crazy and fanatic people.

He looked like a normal human being with black hair and black eyes nothing special, but maybe that strange smile on his face gave him that feeling of being eccentric.

"That’s a certainty. After all, humans are the greatest. We need no gods to pretend that they want to guide us or help us, we need no fakes, just ourselves and the Loop. Soon, the world will witness a change Hehehe." The leader of the cloaked men said with a toothy grin on his concealed face while spreading his arms apart as if embracing the world.

The man just smiled and didn’t comment on that, just stood in silence with his eerie smile spreading across his face.

But then—

Click-clack!

The sound of steps echoed through the place making everyone shut up and look around wanting to know the owner of these elegant steps.

But no matter how they listened, they couldn’t pinpoint the direction.

Nonetheless, the temperature suddenly dropped to several degrees below zero and it continued going down without stopping dramatically making everyone freeze into blocks of ice without any chance to scream or inquire about what was happening to them.

Everyone turned into blocks of ice except the strange black haired man.

It looked as if the ice was avoiding him completely. Or more like, fear of getting close to him.

Soon enough, from the darkness, a figure emerged walking in an elegant way with a lazy yet subtle smile on her face.

She had that flowing purple hair and those blood-red eyes gleaming with deep killing intent mixed with curiosity.

Yeah, she was Kares Vuban Blu.

"Shall I say nice to meet you, Mr. Mastermind?" She said as she stood several meters from him.

The place was frozen with ice and snow, the ground, the walls, even the air had that touch of freezing cold to it making every cell in your body stagnant unable to continue theit work.

And not just the cells but every nook and cranny in the body from the bones, the internal organs, the blood, the marrow, flesh, to everything.

This was how those cloaked men feeling right at the moment, this time, Kares didn’t spare anyone like before and was ruthless.

Just then, she flicked her fingers before all the frozen broke apart into snowy dust that flew along with the cold breeze of the night. She completely ended their life just like that.

"Quite the impressive ability you have righ here. Kares Vuban Blu." The black haird man said with a slightly twisted smile on his face.

"You too have such a nice ability. Controlling the minds isn’t some weak ability you know."

"I hear that a lot, but you know what, they all think the same, that my ability is simply mind control, just like you said."

"Isn’t it?" Kares said as she smiled even more much to the man’s joy.

"Why so curious? I can see it in those beautiful eyes of yours. But be careful young lady, your curiosity might bring your end someday~" The man said in a playful tone unsuited for his expression and that twisted and eerie smile.

"And one last word, this is just the beginning~" As he said so, he turned to leave.

"Don’t think you can just leave—"

"Oh I can, you can’t stop me, your ice is useless against me. Just stand there~"

And truthfully, she couldn’t freeze him with her ice as he clearly wasn’t affected by it.

So, all she could do was watch him go away with nothing she could do.

’He is dangerous.’ She concluded. As just the fact that he wasn’t affected by her ability was a proof that he danger level was high to her.

After he left, she looked at where Amy’s torn body was. There were no remnants left, even the blood spilled was turned into icy dust.

"Things are getting complicated." She muttered to herself as she walked away going back to her own house in New York.

The gears were already shifting and no one knew about it or ready for what was coming.

Next day, Arthur woke up and did his own routine before taking a bath to wash away the sweat and dirt.

Though his body was stronger than before, he had to adjust his routine making it harder and tougher to get some reuslts.

However, after the bath, he went back to the living room just to find two new persons beside his sister and Ava.

One was a blonde haired woman with rectangular glasses and voluptuous body, while the other was a young girl with long flowing white hair and golden eyes with a body that could be said as sensual.

They were Hella and Rose, and both were looking at each other intensely as both knew the identity of the other.

Rose knew that Hella was a vampire while Hella knew that Rose was a witch and a very powerful one.

"What a good morning." Arthur said as he went and sat between his sister and Ava where both got closer to him instinctively.

"So, care to explain what is going on?"

"Looking at Arthur for a moment, Hella decided to back down and sit quietly while Rose just huffed and looked away.

" I came per my promise." Hella said as she had her excited eyes on him.

"But the week hasn’t concluded yet."

"It doesn’t matter, to me a week is only less than five days. So, get ready, we are leaving soon."

This of course made Ava displeased and looked at Hella with annyoed gaze.

"Are you trying to steal my darling from me?" Her voice was deep and contained a hint of threat to it seemingly didn’t care about who Hella Cross was or how powerful she was.

For this, Hella didn’t say anything for a moment which made Ava’s emotions flare and looked at her with irritated murderous gaze.

"You bi—"

"I only came here to take him for a good time training. In my eyes he is an unpolished gem, something that will be wasteful to be left like that without being used. So, I’m not stealing him from you, just going to turn him into a proper husband for you~"

For a second, Ava didn’t know what to say regarding that, but nonetheless, she sighed and agreed, though she was reluctant.

Very so.

After all, she couldn’t spend a moment away from her darling or else she would go crazy but she knew that Hella wouldn’t allow her to come, that’s why she could only agree with annoyed face.

"Just don’t take much time."

"It’s not my problem, it all depends on him. Come on, let’s go. We don’t have much time." As she said so, she stood up and grabbed Arthur’s hand before she said. "Open it up!"

"Hi hi, as you wish!" A short blonde figure came out of thin air in a puff of black smoke.

She was Myne.

The energetic short blondie waved for the people here before opening a portal of thick black smoke then Hella pulled Arthur up and threw him into it without mercy.

"Wha— treat him nice you bitch! And why are you obeying her Myne, you are supposed to be my mother’s maid!" Ava snapped as she stood up with an indignant expression.

"Sorry lady Ava, it’s lady Scarlett’s orders~" As Myne said so, Hella had already stepped through the gate with an ambiguous smile on her face that no one couldn’t see, before Mayne waved goodbye then went through another portal back to her master’s side.

"Unbelievable, that fucking bitch!" Ava gritted her teeth as she watched how Hella tossed Arthur into the portal as if he was a sack of potato.

It was truly infuriating to her.

But what could she do when Hella gave her a very terrible whenever she thought of killing her?

The woman herself was a mystery just like the vampire queen that no one knew her origin or her true age.

Anyway, Ava could only grit her teeth and stand down. While Ella was sitting beside Rose having some mixed feelings of herself. And it was regarding her brother and what she had discovered recently.

It was both good and bad in her opinion considering the angle you were looking at.

On the other hand, Rose was completely dumbfounded by what she had seen.

Though she had her doubts from the beginning but her heart didn’t want to believe it for one bit.

’No, it’s impossible, it can’t be true! Arthur and Ella can’t be vampires!’ These were her thoughts at the moment which was the reason she styed quite during the exchange between Ava and Hella.

But well, it seems the future is going to be interesting in some way.
