After Lord Brahma and Goddess Saraswati stepped back, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati came forward together, their presence immediately drawing the attention of everyone gathered around the newly married King Devara.

Shiva carried the calm, timeless expression that seemed almost impossible to disturb, while Parvati wore a warm smile that became increasingly playful as she looked at her son standing before them.

Devara, who had faced asuras, divine beasts, deadly trials and even curses without showing much hesitation, suddenly found himself far more cautious under his mother’s gaze.

Parvati tilted her head, looking him up and down with an amused expression before glancing toward Yami and Indhumati.

"My son has certainly grown up,"

She said, her voice carrying enough amusement to make Devara suspicious immediately.

"Everywhere he goes, he seems to leave behind another heart that has been stolen by him. First Gandhari, then Apsaras, then Yami, then Indhumati, and I have a feeling that if I let you travel through the three worlds for long enough, you will return with an entire kingdom of women claiming that you have stolen their hearts."

A wave of laughter passed through the gathering.

Yami immediately lowered her face with a shy smile, while Indhumati’s cheeks gained a faint blush.

Gandhari, who was standing among the other women, simply shook her head with an amused expression, already accustomed to Parvati’s teasing.

Devara, meanwhile, stared at his mother with an expression that practically begged her to stop before the situation became even more embarrassing.

"Mother,"

He muttered, rubbing the back of his neck,

"you make it sound as though I am deliberately doing this."

Parvati laughed softly.

"That is exactly what makes it entertaining."

Even Shiva’s lips curved into a faint smile as he watched his son struggle to defend himself.

Devara looked toward his father as if silently asking for help, only to discover that Shiva had absolutely no intention of rescuing him.

Instead, Shiva stepped forward and extended his hand.

Resting upon his palm was a beautifully crafted mirror.

It did not resemble an ordinary mirror. Its frame appeared to have been carved from a strange celestial metal, decorated with intricate patterns resembling flames, serpents and blooming lotuses.

The surface itself looked almost like perfectly still water, yet there was something profound hidden within its reflection.

Shiva placed it into Devara’s hands.

"This is a mirror that does not reflect what the eyes wish to see,"

Shiva explained with a smile on his face.

"It reflects what truly exists. Illusions, disguises, transformations and magical appearances cannot deceive it. Whatever form stands before it, the mirror reveals the true form beneath."

Devara looked down at the strange mirror with genuine curiosity.

"So even if someone disguises themselves with an illusion?"

"The illusion will be reflected,"

Shiva replied calmly.

"But your eyes will see the truth."

Devara slowly nodded, understanding the value of such an artifact.

In a world filled with gods, asuras, shape-shifters, illusions and beings capable of concealing their very existence, a mirror capable of revealing someone’s true form was far more valuable than its simple appearance suggested.

"Thank you, Father,"

Devara said sincerely.

Parvati smiled seeing Devara accept their gift.

"And perhaps you should use it occasionally yourself. You seem to attract people who enjoy hiding things from you."

Devara raised an eyebrow.

"Mother, are you giving me a gift or giving me another warning?"

"Both."

That earned another round of laughter.

Devara shook his head, accepting the mirror carefully before placing it among the other gifts he had received.

But before he could properly turn his attention elsewhere, he noticed several figures approaching from behind Ganesha.

His expression changed.

Three women were walking together.

Devara immediately recognized them.

Ashoka Sundari.

Goddess Manasa.

Goddess Jyoti.

His sisters.

They had been present at Gandhari’s Swayamvara, and Devara had seen them there, just as they had seen him.

They had exchanged glances across the gathering, perhaps even shared a few smiles from a distance, but circumstances had never allowed them to actually meet.

There had always been someone calling for them, another ritual beginning, another conversation taking place, or some divine event demanding attention.

But now there was no distance.

No crowded Swayamvara.

No ceremony separating them.

They were standing directly in front of him.

For the first time, Devara was seeing his sisters face to face.

Ashoka Sundari looked at him with an expression that mixed curiosity and affection, as though she had already seen him before but was now comparing to she was standing before him, While he was looking her.

Manasa’s gaze was calmer and more observant, her eyes quietly studying him as though she wanted to understand how her brother is going to react.

Jyoti, meanwhile, seemed to have the brightest expression of the three, her eyes almost sparkling as she looked at Devara.

For several heartbeats, nobody spoke.

Devara’s confidence, which had survived divine trials and wars, suddenly abandoned him.

He swallowed once and then again.

His eyes moved from Ashoka Sundari to Manasa and finally to Jyoti before returning to Ashoka Sundari.

’What am I supposed to say?’

He had faced Pushpasura without hesitation.

He had fought Kandarpaasura.

He had crossed the River of Sin carrying countless souls upon his shoulders.

He had stood before a Yali that could tear apart elephants.

He had even grabbed the chains of Shani’s curses and broken them with his bare hands.

Yet somehow, standing before three sisters whom he had never actually spoken to was making his palms feel strangely uncomfortable.

’Do I hug them?’

He glanced toward Parvati.

His mother was already smiling.

’Of course she knows I’m panicking.’

Devara looked toward Shiva.

His father merely watched with that infuriatingly calm expression.

’No help there either.’

He glanced toward Ganesha, hoping perhaps his elder brother would offer some assistance.

Ganesha was trying very hard not to laugh.

Devara’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Traitor.

Behind Ganesha, Kartikeya was also watching the scene with an amused smile, clearly enjoying his younger brother’s predicament.

Devara finally looked back at his sisters.

Ashoka Sundari took one small step forward.

"Brother?"

The single word immediately broke the tension.

Devara’s expression softened.

"Yes?"

Ashoka Sundari smiled.

"We have been wanting to meet you properly for a long time."

Manasa nodded beside her.

"We saw you at Gandhari’s Swayamvara, but there were too many people around you. Every time we thought we should come and speak to you, something happened."

Jyoti smiled brightly.

"And then you disappeared before we could even introduce ourselves properly."

Devara let out a quiet breath, realizing that they were just as uncertain as he was and he admitted.

"I wanted to meet you too, I just... didn’t know how to approach you."

Jyoti immediately laughed.

"You didn’t know how to approach your own sisters?"

Devara gave her a helpless look.

"Technically, this is the first time I have met you face to face."

That made all three sisters smile.

Ashoka Sundari stepped closer and looked at him for a moment before opening her arms.

Devara froze.

For one brief moment, his mind went completely blank.

Then he understood.

She wanted to hug him.

The hesitation disappeared.

Devara stepped forward and embraced her.

Ashoka Sundari hugged him tightly, and the moment she did, the awkwardness that had surrounded their first meeting seemed to dissolve.

Devara felt something strangely warm settle inside his chest.

There was no need for grand introductions anymore.

No divine titles, no kingdoms, no responsibilities, no ceremonies.

Just family.

When Ashoka Sundari finally stepped back, Manasa came forward next.

She hugged him more quietly, but there was just as much affection in it.

"You really are our brother," she murmured.

Devara smiled.

"I was beginning to wonder whether you would all interrogate me before deciding that."

Manasa laughed softly.

"We might still do that."

"Wonderful."

Jyoti immediately stepped forward before Devara could prepare himself and wrapped her arms around him.

"Then I am not letting my brother escape either."

Devara laughed as he hugged her back.

From behind them, Parvati watched the scene with a mother’s satisfaction, her earlier teasing expression replaced by something much softer.

Shiva stood beside her, silently observing his children meeting one another at last.

For Devara, the moment carried a weight he had not expected.

He had gained kingdoms.

Weapons.

Divine blessings.

Power.

Wives whom he loved.

A family that stretched across realms.

But standing there with his sisters for the first time, Devara realized that there were still parts of his family he had yet to truly know.

And perhaps, he thought as Jyoti continued talking animatedly while Ashoka Sundari and Manasa listened, that was something he wanted to change.

He did not want his sisters to remain merely names he knew from stories.

He wanted to know them.

And judging by the way all three were already beginning to question him about his life, his kingdom, his battles, his wives and how exactly he had managed to get himself married twice in one ceremony, Devara suspected that he was going to know them very well indeed.
