Weeks later**

Jimmy and Rose arrived at Selen’s home. They offered to take David, Daniel, and Diana to their country manor for the entire weekend, explaining that they wanted to give Clancy and Selen some uninterrupted time alone to focus on their relationship.

The children were completely thrilled by the idea, packing their bags with energetic shouts, and within the hour, the house fell into absolute silence.

Clancy turned to Selen, he did not say a word as he reached for her handbag, grabbed her passport from the desk drawer, and guided her straight out to his waiting vehicle.

He had arranged their clearance manifests hours in advance. By sunset, his private jet had touched down Spain.

A private car drove them to their destination. Selen stepped out of the vehicle, her breath catching as she looked up at the stunning white-stone villa.

As she scanned the surrounding landscape, a profound shock hit her. The grand gates of this magnificent property were located in the exact same exclusive estate as Selen’s own home in Spain. It was just a short distance down the private road from her old home.

"Clancy, what is this place?" Selen whispered. Clancy walked up behind her, his large hands resting firmly on her shoulders as he pressed his chest against her back.

"I built this house for us, Selen," he murmured, his voice low, thick, and entirely steady. "I built it a year ago, right after I first came looking to reconnect with you and the kids. I wanted to create a total refuge where you would never have to run away from my family or the world again. Every room, every view, and every security configuration was designed entirely around you. I kept it perfectly maintained all these months, hoping that one day I would finally be able to bring you here." he said.

Selen turned slowly in his arms, her eyes watering instantly. He had not just changed recently he had been building a safe future for her from the exact moment he found them.

Clancy did not let her speak, cutting off her speechlessness by scooping her up effortlessly into his arms. He carried her through the grand double doors of the villa until he reached the master suite, where a large mirror looked over the large pool in the backyard.

The emotional distance that had separated them for so long vanished completely, replaced by a deep, undeniable connection that needed no further explanation.

The rest of the evening passed in a quiet, peaceful stillness as they stayed wrapped in each other’s company, listening to the gentle sound of the birds that had made their garden home.

For the first time in years, the tension and fear that had defined their lives gave way to a sense of security and mutual understanding.

By the next morning, Clancy and Selen woke up early, standing together on the terrace to look out over the property that had been kept secret for so long.

Knowing that they were finally committed to a life together in England under her new Vanguard appointment, Selen decided this was the perfect opportunity to close her old Chapter cleanly.

She decided to visit her original house just down the road to gather the rest of their stuff, packing up the personal belongings, family mementos, and art supplies she had left behind during her sudden relocation to Kent.

While Selen organized the packing down at her old property, Clancy contacted Patrick who answered immediately from London.

"Patrick, Selen is currently clearing out her old residence in the estate," Clancy stated, his focus entirely clear.

"I need you to coordinate the international transport teams. Get all of Selen’s stuff moved directly from her Spanish property to our home in Kent without any bureaucratic delays." he instructed.

"Understood, sir," Patrick replied. "I will have the ground transport crews at her gate within the hour. Everything will be securely delivered to Kent by Tuesday morning." he said.

**Days later**

Selen sat on the edge of the kitchen island, dressed only in one of his crisp white button-down shirts. Clancy stood across from her, a relaxed smile on his face as he assembled the exact sandwich he had made for her during that one memorable time when he first tried to reconnect.

She had officially decided to open her grand art gallery in Spain, fulfilling the long-held dream she had, while successfully managing and controlling the entire operation remotely from her home in England.

Her career with Vanguard was thriving, and she had built an independent line of protection that guaranteed her children’s stability without sacrificing her personal happiness.

Before the sun began to dip on that specific evening, Clancy slipped away to make a long-overdue phone call to Spain. He dialed JK’s line.

"JK," Clancy said, his tone carrying a deep respect for the man who had protected Selen when the rest of the world had completely abandoned her.

"I’m calling because I need your blessing before I take the next step with Selen tonight. I’m proposing to her this evening," Clancy said.

"We’ve spent too many years running away from the ghosts of our past, and I refuse to waste another second. I want to build a future for her and the triplets, and I want to know that you are fully on board with us as a family." he explained.

JK replied with a genuine laugh. "You have my blessing. Just look after her, always." he said.

Later that evening, Clancy walked up behind Selen as they all gathered in the garden, turning her around slowly to face him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a diamond ring that reflected in the light.

"We’ve been apart for years, Selen," Clancy said, his voice quiet, low, and completely steady. "We should not spend another second away from each other. Please marry me."

Selen looked from the ring to his face, seeing the changes that had brought them back to this exact point.

The family was completely reunited, not because the past was forgotten or erased, but because both of them had chosen a different future together.

"Yes," Selen replied, a genuine smile as he slid the ring onto her finger and pulled her into a warm embrace. Their paths were finally locked together forever.

The joyful shouting of the children echoed through. David, Daniel, and Diana threw themselves into their parents’ arms, talking a mile a minute about what that meant for them and how happy they were.

The room filled with laughter, bringing a vibrant, complete energy back into their lives.
