Chapter 6648: Fei’s Secret Hand

That is...”

Long Mucheng and the Dragon Breath Clansmen watched the scene in unease. The transformations happening to the realm looked even more shocking from their perspectives.

Spirit power had already enveloped the realm, and it was transforming from a brilliant light into six devastating powers—lightning, ice, wind, fire, poison, and water.

“Could this be the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s legendary Calamitous Formation?” a Dragon Breath Clansman murmured.

Someone else immediately refuted, “But the Calamitous Formation requires six people to deploy. Could it be...”

The crowd turned to Long Mucheng.

“The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion must have realized that this realm is important as well,” Long Mucheng said with a sigh.

The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion must have dispatched six Saint-tier elders here.

And that was indeed Jie Tianran’s intention. It took six people to deploy the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s strongest slaughter formation. He figured that should be enough to subdue the Chu Clan Alliance’s rank five Heavenly Gods.

Long Mucheng immediately ordered her clansmen to retreat. She didn’t think that Fei could overcome this formation to defeat the six Saint-tier elders, and that it was more likely that he would retreat.

Meanwhile, Fei reached into his Cosmos Sack, but he didn’t grab Chu Feng’s teleportation talisman paper. His eyes had been flickering in hesitation ever since he saw the six powers devastating the sky.

“But I have already given him my word. Isn’t it too embarrassing if I flee like that? Haa! It’s one thing for me to embarrass my master, but I can’t embarrass Junior Miaomiao as well.”

Fei pulled his hand out of the Cosmos Sack and looked at the sky.

“I’ll concede. That’s a formidable formation. But the six of you are unlucky to have bumped into me. Come at me. I’ll take you to the afterlife!” Fei looked at the six Saint-tier elders in the sky as he spoke tauntingly.

The expressions of the six Saint-tier elders hardened. They didn’t say a word, but they channeled even more of their spirit power into the Calamitous Formation.

Boom!

The six devastating powers descended simultaneously upon Fei.

“This feeling...”

The faces of the six Saint-tier elders warped in shock. To their astonishment, their formation had failed to kill Fei.

Fei’s body and soul were tattered, but the attack had failed to take him down. That was impossible! They could easily disintegrate even this realm with the power they currently wield, so how could they have failed to kill a mere Fei?

Soon, their expressions changed from confusion to horror.

Fei’s body was undergoing a metamorphosis.

“Suppress him with all our might!”

The six Saint-tier elders channeled all their energy into the Calamitous Formation, but their fear only deepened as if they were fighting against the inevitable.

Boom!

A green aura erupted from Fei and swiftly engulfed the realm, including the Calamitous Formation.

“What is that?”

Outside, the Dragon Breath Clansmen were astounded. A green aura had appeared out of nowhere and destroyed the powerful Calamitous Formation.

“That appears to be Fei’s means,” Long Mucheng blurted out.

“Fei? Is that fellow this powerful?”

The crowd felt delighted and mystified. They thought that Fei would have no choice but to retreat, but somehow, the latter managed to unravel the Calamitous Formation constructed by six Saint-tier elders.

Soon, the green aura receded. The barrier sealing the realm vanished along with it.

Long Mucheng and the Dragon Breath Clansmen could finally look into the realm.

They noticed that the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s world spiritists had vanished; there was only one person in the realm—Fei.

Long Mucheng quickly entered the realm and descended to Fei’s side.

“How are you, Fei?” Long Mucheng asked concernedly.

Fei’s body had turned dark red, and he was emitting searing heat. It was as if someone had lit a flame inside him.

“What can happen to me? I’m just annoyed that those six old things managed to force out my secret hand. How is it? Aren’t I incredible?” Fei asked gleefully.

“You’re practically invincible.”

Long Mucheng and the others lavished Fei with compliments.

Fei’s smile deepened.

“Here. Pass this to Chu Feng,” Fei said as he tossed a Cosmos Sack over to Long Mucheng.

Long Mucheng opened the Cosmos Sack. It was filled with world spiritist treasures and origin energies. Surprisingly, Fei meticulously preserved the treasures while devastating his enemies.

But Long Mucheng keenly sensed something amiss.

“Aren’t you going to wait for Chu Feng and the others to arrive?” Long Mucheng asked.

“My mission is to help Chu Feng once. I have already accomplished my mission, so the rest is up to him. Make sure to guard this place properly until he arrives. Don’t let my effort be in vain.”

A carefree smile appeared on Fei’s monstrous face. “Farewell.”

He rose into the sky and vanished.

Meanwhile, Jie Tianran was still in the Immortal Sea Galaxy’s formation core realm. His face looked awful, having yet to recover from the Divine Deer’s insult. Her words had struck a nerve.

Just then, his eyes widened.

He hurriedly took out a box and opened it. In it were a hundred life tokens placed neatly. They were tied to the strongest experts in the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion.

Six of the life tokens on the uppermost row had shattered.

“They managed to claim the formation core in the Totem Galaxy?” the old entity exclaimed in astonishment.

Chu Feng and Little Fishy had only just left, and there was no way they could reach the Totem Galaxy so quickly. This meant that the Chu Clan Alliance had other experts who were as strong as Little Fishy.

This didn’t bode well for the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion.

“Focus on guarding this place, Jie Tianran. Don’t bother sending reinforcements over. Anyone else who goes will just face the same outcome. That grandson of yours is not that easy to deal with,” the old entity said.

Jie Tianran nodded. He had no qualms about sacrificing the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members, but the Saint-tier elders were still valuable to him right now. It pained his heart to have lost six Saint-tier elders like that.

Meanwhile, Chu Feng and Little Fishy had reached the Totem Galaxy’s formation core realm.

Long Mucheng faced no trouble guarding the realm because the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion had not sent any reinforcements over. She updated Chu Feng about the situation before handing him Fei’s Cosmos Sack.

“Where did Fei go?” Chu Feng asked.

“He said that he has accomplished his mission, and the rest is up to us,” Long Mucheng replied.

“I see.”

Chu Feng nodded. He didn’t probe deeper into the matter, but his face looked grim.

Next, he surveyed the realm.

He didn’t find anything at first, but when he closed his eyes and tried to perceive with his heart, he immediately found the formation core. While it was well-hidden, it wouldn’t be too difficult to activate it.

So, he activated the formation core. It turned out to be a strong protective formation.

“This realm actually has such a formidable protective formation? It’s a good thing those Saint-tier elders are nowhere near as sharp as you!” Long Mucheng and the others felt delighted and fearful at the same time.

On the one hand, they didn’t have to fear the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion invading this realm anymore. On the other hand, they couldn’t help but imagine how terribly things could have gone if those Saint-tier elders had actually found this protective formation.

“Yu’er, you stay here with Elder Long and the others. I need to do something,” Chu Feng said.

“Big brother, I’ll go with you,” Little Fishy said.

“I can handle this myself,” Chu Feng replied.

“That won’t do. I won’t let you go anywhere unless you take me along.” Little Fishy obstinately grabbed Chu Feng’s arm, displaying a rare forceful attitude.

“All right. Let’s go together,” Chu Feng acquiesced.

The two of them left the realm together and headed to the neighboring realm.

Little Fishy quietly followed Chu Feng without asking what he was looking for. It wasn't until she saw a figure in the distance that she finally understood why he had left so urgently.

It was Fei.

His body was crimson-red as if seared by lava. It wouldn’t have been surprising if his body exploded right there and then. His expression was warped in pain. Despite his attempts to stifle his voice, he still let out guttural moans.

Tears flowed from his feral eyes and evaporated right away.

It was clear that his days were numbered.
