Chapter 367: Chapter 358: Great Freedom Bodhisattva Mandala Demon Dharma Form

Xie Mingzhi watched the young man in white approaching unhurriedly from the end of the long street, his fingers slowly uncurling.

Hong Huan slid from the iron-like grip and fell to the ground, gasping for breath. He paid no mind to the pain, scrambling to crawl away, his eyes filled with the raw terror of a near-death experience.

The young man drew closer, stopping about twenty meters away from Xie Mingzhi.

The Martial Tributors, grievously wounded by Xie Mingzhi and sprawled on the ground, struggled to their feet. They faced the young man and called out, "Spirit Lord."

But the young man didn’t spare them a glance, his serene gaze fixed only on Xie Mingzhi.

His gaze was as tranquil as still water, as if the wounded littering the ground and the blood staining the street had nothing to do with him.

Xie Mingzhi narrowed his eyes. His gaze swept over the black blade hanging from the young man’s waist, a flicker of emotion rippling in their depths before finally settling back on the man himself.

"So you’re the one they call Young Master Profound Banner Ling?"

Xie Mingzhi’s tone was flat, as if he were confirming some trivial fact. "My Bi Fangyu. You have it."

The young man gave a slight smile, so faint it was barely perceptible.

He didn’t speak.

Neither did Xie Mingzhi.

The two stood facing one another, their gazes locked.

The wind on Brocade Street died down.

It felt as if even the dust motes hanging in the air had frozen solid.

The street grew increasingly quiet, like a summer afternoon when the drone of cicadas abruptly ceases.

An indescribable pressure began to build, tightening its grip until it felt hard to breathe.

THUMP—THUMP—THUMP!

The onlookers on both sides could all hear their own hearts pounding in their chests.

The pounding grew louder and faster.

Soon, it was as if someone were beating a great drum right beside their ears, until it was the only sound left in the world.

Just as everyone felt their hearts were about to burst, their faces contorting in unconscious agony—

SHIIING!

The clang of countless blades being drawn shattered the suffocating atmosphere!

The sound was sharp and dense, like a downpour on a tin roof or the thrum of ten thousand bowstrings loosed at once, so piercing it made one’s eardrums ache.

The onlookers on both sides strained to keep their eyes open.

They saw Xie Mingzhi take a simple step forward, then raise his hand into a fist.

With that single motion, it was as if countless blades were clashing violently in the air, the metallic din growing denser and more incessant.

Then, with Xie Mingzhi at its center...

a rust-colored mist of blood and martial fury billowed outward, like an immense, blood-soaked banner suddenly unfurled!

The blood-red banner snapped in the wind, blotting out the sky!

Within the banner, phantoms of a mighty army charged forth amidst broken halberds, shattered spears, corpses, and military tents.

Earth-shattering war cries surged forward like a tidal wave.

In that instant...

the sliver of celestial light pouring from the sky, the white-robed figure beneath it, and the rabble prostrating on either side of the street behind him...

all were swept up and engulfed by the terrifying tableau of a battlefield!

The force of Xie Mingzhi’s punch had yet to land, but the terrible gale it generated had already torn countless gouges in the street, as if carved by blades and chisels.

Hong Huan and the others, cowering at the sides, threw their hands up to shield their eyes. Still, the formless martial fury in the wind sliced countless tiny cuts into their exposed skin.

It was impossible to imagine what would happen if that punch truly landed. They feared that even the peerless, tempered Martial Dao body of a Heart Intent master would be instantly sliced to ribbons.

Terrified, the crowd scrambled back in a pathetic retreat.

However, the two Fire Cloud Army subordinates outside the punch’s range looked on with feverish excitement. Their eyes were wild with fanaticism as they gazed at Xie Mingzhi’s back within the battlefield tableau, their faces filled with the pious adoration of a pilgrim.

And yet, in the next second—

BOOM!

The world-devouring, terrifying momentum was abruptly halted.

The dense clash of weapons ceased. The phantasmal image of the charging army was violently punctured and torn asunder by some immense force.

Something seemed to be rising rapidly from within the shattered momentum.

The golden light from the heavens was drawn down once more, now brighter and more intense than before. The air began to issue a strange, magnificent hum...

RUMBLE!

With a thunderous boom, all the mist of blood and fury, all the scenes of war... vanished into thin air.

A slender figure, a great wheel-like object on his back, was blasted from the center of the explosion like a cannonball, sent flying backward.

BANG!

The figure slammed into something. The two Fire Cloud Army subordinates froze, their expressions of fanatical worship locked on their faces.

They stared, transfixed, at the man they knew as the invincible Marshal Ming, now deeply embedded in the wall of a building dozens of meters away.

His body was shrouded in a thin layer of blood-mist. Beneath it, his skin had turned a metallic, blue-black color.

But even so, a large section in the center of Xie Mingzhi’s chest was deeply caved in.

Xie Mingzhi himself stared down at his chest in disbelief. His eyes were vacant, as if he could not comprehend this outcome.

The entire length of the street fell utterly silent.

After a few breaths, everyone’s gaze shifted back to where the young man in white had been standing.

When they saw what was there, everyone froze.

Their faces tilted upward, caught in a state of profound, speechless shock.

—There, under the pouring celestial light, stood a colossal Dharma Form over nine meters tall.

The Dharma Form had four faces and eight arms. Its front face was incomparably handsome, its lips curved in a slight smile, like a Desire Realm Celestial Prince.

Its left face had three eyes and fiery red hair, flames burning in its pupils, like a wrathful Bright King.

Its right face was solemn and majestic, full of compassion, like a world-saving Pharmacist.

Its final face was featureless—no eyes, no nose, no mouth—and as smooth as a mirror.

Of its eight arms, one held a flower. One formed a mudra. One held a lustrous Pharmacist’s bowl. One grasped a vajra chain for subduing demons. One seized a Dragon, another held aloft an Elephant...

The Dharma Form sat upon a seven-tiered lotus throne. It bore a tri-colored halo on its back, and from its sides spread two blazing wings of light.

One wing was brilliant gold, inscribed with tiny Sanskrit characters, and it fractured light into ten thousand golden rays.

The other wing was dark and somber, riddled with cracks through which a blood-red light pulsed...

It was enormous, magnificent, and majestic... yet it also possessed an indescribable, fiercely domineering aura.

All who witnessed it were deeply shaken, overcome with an irrepressible urge to fall to their knees in worship.

Beneath the Dharma Form, the young man stood, still clad in his white robes.

He walked toward Xie Mingzhi, step by step. The Dharma Form behind him, at once like a Buddha and a demon, moved with him, sending endless ripples through the air.

The young man’s face bore a Spiritual Resemblance to the Desire Realm Celestial Prince Form on the front of the Dharma Form.

The Desire Realm Celestial Prince Form seemed to come alive, and two pairs of eyes—the Dharma Form’s and the young man’s—fixed upon Xie Mingzhi.

The young man’s eyes were as clear as liuli glass, embodying utter Purity. His face was one of ultimate, magnificent beauty, as if born to be a Buddha, yet somehow it exuded a bewitching and enigmatic demonic quality.

He smiled at Xie Mingzhi and extended a hand.

A look of pity on his face, he said softly,

"Within three moves..."

"if you can’t show me something that catches my eye... something I find interesting..."

"I will... kill you."

As his voice fell, the Eight Arms of the Dharma Form, which channeled the celestial light, lifted slightly. Its Buddha Light receded, and a demonic aura surged in its place.

A formless killing intent flowed like a silent, frozen river down the long street.

Xie Mingzhi, who had just pulled himself from the wall, went rigid. In that same instant, everyone else felt as though they had been plunged into an icy cavern.

...

Great Freedom Bodhisattva Mandala Demon Dharma Form!

This was the name Fu Juemin had given the Dharma Form he had finally perfected.

With his recent breakthrough, he had perfected both his inner and outer Dharma Forms.

What he was revealing now was merely his Heart Scene Dharma Form, but it had integrated three great arts from the Perfection Realm: Pharmacist, Dragon Elephant, and Bright King.

It contained three types of True Gang, the triple concepts of Creation, Abiding, and Destruction, and numerous Buddhist and Martial Principles he had comprehended on his own.

As for its power?

He was in the process of finding out.
