Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

Chapter 107: The Destroyer Descends

Thor did not hide anything in his social media profile. He directly wrote that he was the crown prince of Asgard, the God of Thunder, and the son of Odin.

Then, relying on big data’s random recommendations, he casually added more than a dozen online friends. By sheer coincidence, Thor added Hela.

"Can you find where this person is? I want to fight this guy."

Thor looked at the screen full of mocking insults, his brow twitching as he turned to Coulson and asked.

"I think it would be best not to, Your Excellency Thor. You are no longer the God of Thunder. An ordinary person can easily run into danger."

Coulson smiled and refused.

"Yes, I am now mortal, but my combat skills and experience are all still here."

Thor pointed at his head, smiled, and patted Coulson on the shoulder. "Help me find this person who insulted me. I’ll use my fists to make her take her words back!"

"I can’t do that."

Coulson glanced at Orion Cross again, then helplessly shook his head at Thor.

"My god, this guy is way too arrogant. She says that when she sees me, she’ll crush my balls directly and use my skull as a bowl... Are all you Midgardians this wild? Why do I feel like this guy seems more like an Asgardian?"

Thor looked at the new message Hela had sent on social media, as if he had just discovered something bizarre, and laughed as he asked Coulson and Orion Cross.

Orion Cross: "..."

"You really don’t know where this guy is?"

Seeing that Coulson was still shaking his head, Thor turned to Orion Cross. "Orion, my friend, use that little sparkling portal of yours and send me to meet this guy. I want her to fulfill her promise!"

"I think you’d better not court death. I know this person."

Orion Cross looked at Thor speechlessly. "Forget the current you without divine power. Even if you picked up Thor’s hammer and regained your divine power, she could still hang you up and beat you like a sandbag."

"Are you joking?"

Thor froze slightly and turned to look at Orion Cross in a daze.

"You can continue if you want, but you’ll definitely regret it later."

Orion Cross shrugged, having no intention of stopping Thor from courting death.

"All right..."

Thor still chose to believe Orion Cross and stopped provoking Hela. Then he switched to someone else and started chatting.

However, because he was in a bad mood, Thor casually added another person and began provoking his new friend using the same tone Hela had used on him earlier.

"This person seems to have a pretty good temper..."

"Hm? He says I’d better not make him angry, or the next time he sees me, he might beat me to death?"

Thor looked at the message on the screen and could not help laughing. He looked at Orion Cross. "This one isn’t some powerful character too, right?"

Orion Cross narrowed his eyes and glanced at the username displayed on Thor’s screen, then shook his head. "I don’t know them."

"That’s good. Heh."

The corner of Thor’s mouth rose, and he continued typing on the keyboard.

Thud.

The ground trembled slightly. Before everyone could react, the lounge door was violently opened, and several agents ran in.

"Sir, an abnormal wavelength has been detected in the desert one kilometer away!"

"Prepare immediately. Get ready to move out!"

Coulson decisively gave the order, then walked to the window and looked into the distance. The afterglow of the Bifrost still lingered slightly in the night sky.

"That’s the Bifrost. Who else has come to Midgard? Or did they go back?"

Thor stood beside Coulson and fell into confusion.

Coulson stared at Thor. "Your friends are all still next door. They haven’t left..."

"But you said the abnormal wavelength just now was the Bifrost. What is that?"

Thor looked into the distance and answered, "The Bifrost. A teleportation device, a passage connecting the Nine Realms. It can also be used as a weapon..."

"So it’s something like a teleportation device?"

Coulson nodded. Thinking of the things he had seen in science fiction movies, he understood immediately.

After summoning Sif and the Warriors Three, Coulson looked at the Asgardians, his face ashen as he transferred several videos onto the computer screen. These photos had been taken by agents who had just arrived.

Coulson had accepted Nick Fury’s task of looking after Thor, so he could only remain here as the overall commander and hand command of the field team to his subordinates. But in the short video, his subordinate was directly blasted into pieces by a destructive laser fired from the head of a giant humanoid steel machine.

"The Destroyer!"

The Asgardians spoke in unison when they saw the humanoid steel machine in the video.

"The Destroyer. Just from the name, it doesn’t sound like anything friendly. What is it? If I didn’t know you people brought it here, I’d think it was Stark’s new armor."

Coulson swept his gaze across them and replied.

However, the Asgardians did not answer. They kept staring at the destruction in the video, sinking into deep shock and confusion.

"This must have been sent by Loki. What is his goal? To kill Thor? Or to execute us as well?"

Volstagg turned to his companions and said loudly.

Controlling the Destroyer required Gungnir, the symbol of the God-King’s authority. Now that Odin had fallen into sleep, the only person who possessed Gungnir and could control the Destroyer was Loki.

"There’s a chance you can add me to that list too."

Orion Cross looked at the Destroyer’s appearance and was not surprised. The Otherworldly Shared Dream he had used on Loki was continuous. As long as Loki entered sleep, unconsciousness, or even closed his eyes, he would enter the dream world. The fear this effect brought to Loki, combined with the fact that Loki essentially only envied Thor and resented Odin, and after Orion Cross’s earlier reminder, meant that Loki now viewed Orion Cross, this potential threat to Asgard, with the same mindset he had toward Laufey.

If he could use the Destroyer to permanently leave behind everything that posed a threat to Asgard and to him, that would naturally be ideal.

"Looks like Loki came here before?"

Hearing Orion Cross say this, Thor took a deep breath and asked.

"That’s right."

Orion Cross nodded without denying it.

"We have to stop the Destroyer."

Thor swept his gaze across Sif and the Warriors Three and spoke.

"Thor, we’ll be enough. You stay here."

Fandral pressed down on Thor’s shoulder. "Don’t forget, you’re only a mortal now. You can die."

"But your injuries haven’t healed yet..."

Thor hesitated. If it were normal, Sif and the Warriors Three might barely have the strength to fight. But after their earlier battle with Orion Cross, each of them had suffered light injuries. Unless they returned to Asgard for treatment, it would take at least two or three days for them to recover. Ordinary battles were one thing, but in a battle against the Destroyer, even a slight mistake could cost them their lives.

"Don’t forget, we have powerful assistance. He absolutely won’t sit back and watch the Destroyer devastate Midgard."

Sif glanced at Orion Cross and said with a smile.

"Assistance?"

Orion Cross raised an eyebrow slightly. "Do you Asgardians call the one with the highest damage output support?"
