"I never expected a mortal to actually separate our power."

Among the six figures, the shadow standing in the center as their leader had eyes flashing with lightning.

"So you’re Zeus?"

Orion Cross flicked both hands, and the chains of the Blades of Chaos wrapped around his arms.

"No. We are merely manifestations of their power and will."

Zeus’s shadow turned and looked at the sky. "The aura of the originals has already scattered. Fortunately, the bloodline of Olympus still exists. Otherwise, we would have disappeared as well."

"Is this another world?"

Solomon’s shadow swept his gaze across the surrounding scenery and looked at Orion Cross as he asked.

"That’s right. And in this world, I have already killed all the gods of Olympus."

Orion Cross slowly walked toward the platform where the six of them stood.

Hearing this, Zeus’s shadow fell briefly silent, then spoke. "You... are not lying."

"What? We’re supposed to bestow our power upon a madman like this?"

Atlas, the one who carried the heavens in Greek mythology, could not help speaking.

"Bestow? You may have misunderstood something."

Orion Cross walked in front of the six figures and stopped.

"That’s right. He wants to erase our wills and completely control this power."

Zeus’s shadow looked deeply at Orion Cross and guessed his goal.

"Then it seems we cannot hand this power to him."

A thin shadow standing at the very edge sneered. Then he stomped his foot and charged toward Orion Cross like a streak of aurora.

"Too slow. Your speed is far too slow!"

Mercury circled around Orion Cross, constantly muttering.

"Do you know how I dealt with Hermes back then?"

Orion Cross did not even shift his gaze, still staring directly at Zeus, completely ignoring Mercury as he circled him.

"You dare ignore me? It’s time you tasted the wrath of a god!"

Seeing that Orion Cross still dared to talk to Zeus at a time like this, Mercury was immediately consumed by rage. Moving at extreme speed, he threw a punch toward Orion Cross’s face.

"Like this."

Orion Cross’s eyes remained fixed on Zeus, but his hand had already grabbed Mercury’s incoming fist.

"Let go of me! Let go! You insubordinate mortal! You are not worthy of obtaining our power!"

Mercury kept pulling backward, trying to yank his arm free, but failed every time.

"Fine. I’ll let go."

Crack.

Orion Cross stomped on Mercury’s knee, and the God of Speed’s right leg bent backward ninety degrees.

"Ah! You mortal—"

Without the slightest hesitation, Orion Cross held the Blades of Chaos and slashed down at Mercury’s legs as he collapsed to the ground.

"Too bad you don’t have winged shoes. Only athlete’s foot."

Orion Cross casually threw Mercury’s legs off the platform and looked at the other five.

After Mercury’s shadow lost both feet, it slowly dispersed, while the divine power representing speed remained on the ground, turning into a mass of ownerless energy.

"The glory of the gods will not be blasphemed!"

Powerful lightning erupted from Zeus’s shadow. He raised his right hand high, and a bolt of lightning appeared in his grasp.

"Come together. Otherwise, you won’t get a chance. I’m already being generous."

Orion Cross beckoned at them, then glanced at one of the others. "Oh, not including you, Solomon. To be honest, I don’t need the wisdom of a locked door. Have you heard of Qin Shi Huang?"

As his voice fell, Orion Cross struck first. The chains of the Blades of Chaos whipped out, and Solomon’s head shot into the air.

Hercules roared and lunged at Orion Cross, the wind from his fist stirring spatial ripples throughout the entire spiritual realm.

"Comparing strength?"

Orion Cross grabbed Hercules’s wrist with one hand and slowly pressed him down onto the ground. Then his knee slammed into the bridge of Hercules’s nose.

He had torn apart the Bifrost with his bare hands. Could he really fail to tear apart a demigod of strength he had already beaten before?

Hercules struggled with all his might, but it was useless.

At that moment, Atlas, the Titan who carried the heavens, and Achilles, the demigod hero, charged forward with spears in hand.

Zeus’s lightning also descended above Orion Cross’s head.

"Heh."

Orion Cross sneered, swung his blade backward, and cut off Hercules’s head. Then he tore out his spine, still covered in flesh and blood, and swung it toward Atlas and Achilles.

In truth, besides the Desert Emperor’s Ascended form, Orion Cross had another one. It was a power he had once experienced even before forming a contract with the Star Forger Dragon King.

Aatrox, the Darkin Blade, was also a fallen Ascended.

"Demon!"

Achilles gritted his teeth and resisted Orion Cross together with Atlas.

"You guessed right."

Orion Cross’s figure flashed. He grabbed Atlas and threw him into the sky, using him as a shield to block Zeus’s thunderstrike. Then he grabbed Hercules’s spine and thrust it through Achilles’s body, splitting him in two.

Atlas fell to the ground, his entire body paralyzed. Orion Cross threw away Hercules’s spine, swung out the chains of the Blades of Chaos, locked them around Zeus’s neck, and pulled him over.

"You... will never become a true god!"

Zeus struggled and released lightning, but it was completely useless. Every strike was blocked by a layer of flowing sand over Orion Cross’s body.

"That would be for the best."

Orion Cross smiled faintly. With one pull of the twin-blade chains, Zeus’s head dropped to the ground.

After dealing with everyone else, Orion Cross turned to look at the pitiful Atlas, the Titan who carried the heavens.

Why had he saved him for last?

Because he was the tankiest.

As an existence capable of bearing the heavens, even an ordinary mortal who obtained his power could live for thousands or tens of thousands of years without condition.

Naturally, he had to be saved for last and dealt with slowly.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The sound of meat being chopped on a cutting board echoed through the spiritual realm.

Ten minutes later, Orion Cross left the spiritual realm and returned to the bright balcony, taking a deep breath of air.

"This power seems to have weakened?"

Orion Cross raised his index finger and looked at the electric sparks flickering above it, frowning.

After closing his eyes and sensing it for a moment, Orion Cross discovered that the reason the Power of Shazam had weakened was not because the power itself had become weaker, but because of the world barrier.

Orion Cross could freely draw on the power of the Star Forger Dragon King because hyperdimensional magic existed, and because he had signed a contract.

In other words, hyperdimensional magic and the contract were the router and network cable.

The original router for the Power of Shazam had been the six divine will manifestations Orion Cross had just dealt with.

Without the router, the network naturally became worse.

And the solution was also very simple.

Just find a new router.

"Has anything happened recently? I don’t think so..."

Thinking this, Orion Cross took out his phone and opened the calendar.
