"Of course, no problem."

After hearing the little girl introduce herself, Orion Cross froze slightly, then smiled and accepted the notebook. Today really was a good day. He had actually run into two Spider-Men in a row. Unfortunately, whether it was Peter Parker or Gwen Stacy, they seemed far too young, and neither of them had triggered any missions.

As for why Orion Cross guessed it was because they were too young rather than because their abilities had not awakened yet, that was because his family’s Wanda still had not triggered any missions either. Leaving Pietro aside for now, Wanda, as the Scarlet Witch, was absolutely one of the main carry characters. And now, Wanda had not only obtained the ability to use Chaos Magic, her mutant ability to alter probability had also awakened during that journey. Even so, Wanda still had not triggered any missions for Orion Cross.

In that case, Orion Cross could only guess that it had something to do with age. After all, Wanda looked like she had grown up, but her actual age was still only around ten.

"Hello, Iron Man, Dimensional Walker. I’m George Stacy, Chief of the New York Police Department."

While Gwen held Orion Cross’s autograph and admired it, her father walked over.

"Just call me Orion. That title is only something I used to amuse a child."

Orion Cross smiled and spoke.

"I’m afraid that won’t work. Perhaps by tomorrow, every citizen in New York will know that title of yours."

George pointed at several reporters in the distance who were filming them.

"Then do whatever you want. Anyway, people who know each other usually don’t use titles. It’s too embarrassing."

Orion Cross expressed that he did not care.

"Aren’t you worried about being exposed?" Chief George asked in surprise.

Logically speaking, were superheroes not supposed to wear all kinds of strange costumes and conceal their true identities while acting as vigilantes at night? At least, that was how it always worked in comics.

"You may have watched too many comic book movies and developed a mistaken understanding. The era of pretending to be weak before revealing strength has already passed."

Orion Cross pointed at Tony, who was not far away and was speaking grandly in front of the reporters.

"Yes, I don’t like those guys in tights either. They hide their faces only to avoid responsibility."

George glanced at Tony, then withdrew his gaze and looked at Orion Cross seriously. Orion Cross immediately saw what the police chief wanted to express. He laughed and said, "Don’t look at me like that. I can accept all kinds of criticism, but if someone tries to morally blackmail me..."

"What will you do?"

"As long as I have no morals, no one can morally blackmail me."

Orion Cross looked at the damaged ground around them and kicked a piece of gravel under his foot. "I hope no one asks me to pay for these losses. Otherwise..."

Otherwise, Orion Cross would let that person know what true "loss" meant. Sending Hulk away meant Orion Cross had already obtained Hulk’s coordinates on Earth. He could open a portal at any time and throw Hulk into someone’s bedroom, letting them experience what it meant for love to be a ray of green light that made them panic.

"Looks like I’ll have to persuade Gwen not to treat you as an idol."

The smile on George’s face gradually disappeared. Clearly, the two of them had different values.

"Do as you like. Maybe you can paste her onto Tony Stark instead."

Orion Cross shrugged and expressed that he did not care.

Chief George looked toward Stark and thought of all his gossip news, making his face turn even darker.

"Superheroes? Not a single good thing among them."

After cursing in a low voice, George turned around, picked up little Gwen, and prepared to leave.

"Let me remind you of one thing. Often, the ones who can save the world are exactly those bad things... while the ones who kill all humanity and destroy the world are mostly saintly people like you."

When George heard Orion Cross’s words, his steps paused. Then he gave a cold snort and continued walking forward.

Seeing George Stacy leave, Orion Cross could not be bothered to care about his matters anymore. The so-called military and police were one family. Their values were more or less the same, and they believed they controlled the rules.

"How did things go today? Did you hand over the armor?"

Orion Cross walked over to Tony and casually asked.

"Hand it over? Are you joking? There is only one Iron Man, and there will only ever be one Iron Man."

Tony made an exaggerated expression, then suddenly thought of something and corrected himself. "I gave one suit to Rhodes, but I forbade him from using any title with ’Iron’ in it."

Knock, knock.

Orion Cross tapped the reactor on Tony’s chest. "Solved it?"

"Not yet, but I’ve already found it. It’ll be solved tomorrow."

Tony grinned as he spoke.

The row of reporters and pedestrians nearby listened to their conversation with blank expressions. What were they talking about? Were these two speaking in riddles? Why could they not understand a single thing?

"That’s good. It won’t be long before the charcoal-headed guy comes looking for you. I’m heading out first."

Orion Cross nodded and turned around, preparing to go home. He had already done enough work today. It was time to take a shower and rest.

"Wait, I have a question."

Tony was just about to stop Orion Cross, only to find that he had already vanished into the crowd.

"Looks like I’ll have to ask next time... Strange. Why don’t those things have even the slightest trace of magical energy? Did I just fail to detect it?"

Tony looked toward the residential area in Queens in the distance and muttered. As it turned out, after Orion Cross’s Ragnarok products went online, Tony used his status as a shareholder to obtain a full set of products for research. Yet he discovered that although the technology was strange, it was indeed pure technology. But Tony clearly did not believe it. He knew that Orion Cross’s technology had come from that city where magic and technology coexisted. It was impossible for it not to be contaminated by magic at all.

Just as Tony was distracted, a figure was crouching low and hiding among the crowd, approaching him step by step.

"Tony Stark!"

An angry roar came from the crowd, and a middle-aged bald man holding two energy whips leaped out. The pedestrians and reporters were all stunned by the sudden danger and scattered in all directions, hiding to the side. Even Tony Stark himself froze. None of them had expected that just after the matter with Hulk and Abomination ended, while they were still enjoying the aftermath of victory, another person would appear.

"Jarvis, give him a round of applause."

At that moment, a portal suddenly appeared behind Whiplash, and Orion Cross’s voice came from within it.

"Yes, sir!"

Under Tony’s astonished gaze, his right hand rose uncontrollably, aimed at the portal, and then fired a repulsor blast. On the other end of the portal, Orion Cross took out and activated the suit of armor in his storage space, the one he had originally "borrowed" to keep Obadiah alive, and fired its repulsor at the same time.

After a flash of white light, Whiplash, his face charred black, collapsed unwillingly to the ground.

"Don’t be sad. Although you showed up just to give yourself away, at least I’ll remember your contribution."

Orion Cross smiled faintly and closed the portal.
