Chapter 3061: 3061. Unity of One

Dragons were innate with their mana affinity. They followed what they knew and they could live and breathe that. It was very unique for some dragons to reach deeper and truly grasp the steps they took instinctively to use their mana affinity at birth.

Midnight was one of the dragons who had done some. But that was the bond she had with Walker at work. He had shared the senses with her and even guided her at times. Therefore, she has advanced much faster and more in depth with amna affinities than others.

Remey, had always focused on fighting physically when she was a brawler. The change she gained without changing race was when she was able to break the norm and become an alchemical brawler.

She managed to learn alchemy flames specifically over other manas and normal fire magic. Yet, she has also pursued the changes in her body and the mana she used because she had bonded with an elemental literary spirit made of alchemy flames that grew in strength to become much more recognized and diverse in the flames they were made up of.

This gave Remey the knowledge to understand how the flames affected her body as she melded her soul and body together becoming a unique race of dragons that could make flames become her body when using innate skills of that race and other mixings of her path as a whole.

Therefore, she has done so without needing to look at the individual steps of how her instincts shaped that flame dragon body or used different forms of dragon fire reinforced by her body and soul to fight. It was a very different method compared to her wielding the alchemy flames to purify and alter herbs or to strengthen her fists and punch something with flames and force.

Walker was still moving the multiple puppet bodies but had started making some of them with ice as a medium. It allowed him to see how the mana threads he attacked changed the ways that the puppets moved while utilizing better understanding of the sensing abilities they had for him to use too.

It was also enlightening him to how the golem bodies altered his senses when he gained the vision, scents, and sounds of where they were too. This sharpening of senses was enough for him since it would make him closer to these skills and better able to grasp them overall.

For Gil, the arrow stances shifted, but it was under the pressure of Remey slowly enhancing the usage of her own skills.

Every movement Gil used to try to counter Remey as she moved was under her force because she could use enough mana to influence his own flow of mana drawn in to condense a bow of whatever mana he was attempting to use. It caused the arrows to go further or barely fly through the air. Both making Gil understand the strength of emotion within his mind and strength to keep calm under pressure being much more defined for this set of skills and style.

This also gave him the understanding that the ancient elves might have used this survival method of making bows from mana because they had been full of emotion and determination to survive. They had used more mana because they had needed to out of desperation and absolute survival.

They had no choice and from that was born a proper and amazing survival opportunity.

Feeling the flow of her flames as she built up the skills that gave her dragon wings and flame dragon body, Remey understood the differences immediately.

Limiting herself like this was never a thought. She had felt this was just the way she could show her might and faith with greater ability.

Not that she didn’t feel and sense control over the manas moving to actually form the dragon claws of flames she used over her fists and elemental knuckles when fighting.

That right there was why she never realized she could alter and condense the flames even more. Create a better fitting form for her and also for the way she could and should be fighting.

She was not a physical dragon body. She has changed in race but in form, not as much. She was strong and tough but she was still fairly short. She was more dense in muscle, that was a fact, but that didn’t mean she was anything compared to the massive size of a fully adult dragon.

This was also why Ignus spent most of his time with her in draining form. They could more easily converse and work on things in that way. She also couldn’t afford to expend a massive amount of fire mana to make herself a dragon body at all times. Not that it was truly a physical body in a way. It was just not the same.

The realization that the flow of her own mana and how it could be smoothed and condensed to make things easier in her fights was hitting her mind heavily. But even worse than that, she was understanding that this extension of her mana was legitimately part of her soul.

She bound her soul and body as one. That made her a form of spirit dragon unique because she had shared mana from Ignus’s very core when he grew and became a flame dominater dragon.

This again, changed who she was and influenced her more greatly because the process changed what she was capable of.

The flames and mana was an expansion of her body in the way of her soul being used and condensing it was like a spirit condensing a body and becoming an elemental for in some cases melding with a golem core to be able to control it as a member of the spirit race.

Walker and Gil caught Remey freezing up and realized that she had grasped something she’d missed.

They watched as flames gathered around her in a much smaller form. That the smaller dragon form she had them mimic was dense with flames and struggling to smooth and show detail.

Walker sent a small wave of fire mana toward her that helped but it was clear that the control was lacking as well. That it wasn’t just mana but that Remey was controlling her own sense of will.

Before the flames could condense even more, they started to break apart. However, instead of spewing out and dissipating, the flames and mana gathered back in to Remey’s body making both Gil and Walker worry even more.

The arrival of a few fire spirits after sensing the change in mana was quick before they moved away as Remey was gasping but recovering. They had sensed the born with a higher fire elemental spirit capable of commanding them.

"I am the damn core of what I am. I am the heart or dragon core or whatever you want to call me and I can expand a flame body outside of myself because it is also part of me. It’s not some body expansion or some soul condensing. It’s me!"

She wasn’t explaining to them, she was standing and stomping about how she had missed this. Part of her literal racial qualities and what she could do.

She missed it entirely.

All because she had not focused on the reasons that her instincts allowed her to activate certain skills. She had missed it and instead do sitting and working on more grand potions or trying to lead the alchemy guild, she should have looked at herself a bit more.

"That was powerful. Remey, that was a lot stronger than any time you have done something similar." Gil wasn’t holding back, he was somewhat stunned too. This change was a lot to grasp when he had seen her release mana and fight like a dragon before.

"That’s because she just said it. Gil, she was literally making that fire mana dwell within her become part of her entire body and soul. She can probably change forms to an elemental dragon body if she trains enough." Gil dropped his mouth agape as he realized that there might be an aggressive dragon Remey fighting in flames sooner than later.

How would he take a punch from her then!?

"I will figure it out. I was dumb because I forgot I changed races and that my body and soul are the same thing. I also need more mana. I also need to eat something. Maybe sleep." Remey rambled off a few things before flopping on to the ground and just looking at the sky.

That had exhausted her, but had also opened her eyes and she was more than just glad she had actually trained here. It showed her potential that she hadn’t realized she had while answering some questions about her future strength.
