The hours soon passed, and just like he had done before when creating the first circle for his agenda,

Ethan easily created the second, extracting almost forty percent of his own reserves in the process.

Had his own mana pool not been incomparable to other mages, such a thing wouldn’t have even been possible.

’Sigh... I really have to do something about the wastage in the transferring process.’

’Right now, about eighty percent of mana is lost when transferring it to another person.’

’Looking at it now from an outside perspective, creating circles for other people should be impossible.’

’However, with my ten-thousand-fold increase, the impossible has been made possible.’

Stifling a smirk, Ethan looked around him and sighed, wiping a nonexistent bead of sweat from his forehead.

It had been seven hours since he started creating circles, and he was finally done.

In front of him were fifty 2nd-Circle mages he had created with his own hands.

Not only that, but with his creation of the circles and mana, his own mana pool had increased several times over in quality and quantity.

And while it didn’t bring an increase in stats this time, Ethan felt that perhaps he could easily pull off mad moves like the illusion the Clown King used against him,

or even freeze the whole room with Victoria’s ice.

Right now, even he couldn’t tell just how vast his mana was.

And with the improvement of his understanding of Density, he could do a lot of other things he couldn’t do before.

’Air Walk, go!’

Standing up from the ground, Ethan’s mana churned.

In the shocked eyes of everyone around him, Ethan actually began to walk on air!

By using the principle of Density, he had compressed the mana under his feet to the point where he could actually stand on it.

By doing this in quick succession, he had achieved the miraculous feat of flight, or rather, walking in the air!

"Ethan... Damn! Just how strong is this nephew of mine? Perhaps Dad won’t end up dying after all!"

muttered Adrian.

Marcus, on the other hand, just stared with his mouth agape. Although he had heard talks about magic before, what was he seeing now?

The Patriarch was walking on air!

As for Christian, Alfred, and the other veterans, their eyes shone with surprise and expectation.

Perhaps after this, they too would be able to walk on air.

Just imagining the scene of fifty of them walking down from the sky with guns coated in mana...

The fifty of them looked at each other and smiled.

A few of them had even begun to bet on who would take out the most monsters!

For a while, the whole meeting room was rowdy as all kinds of emotions began to surge.

It wasn’t until a few minutes later that things finally calmed down.

"Ethan kid, you sure know how to surprise your grandfather."

"Even now, as I reach the second circle, I feel about ten times stronger than before."

"Yet facing you, I still feel an undeniable gap."

Shaking his head, Christian wasn’t jealous of this; rather, he sighed in relief. The stronger his grandson was, the better.

And Ethan, seeing his grandfather like this, just nodded. Although he wouldn’t say anything about his ten-thousand-fold increase,

he could at least acknowledge he was different from all other mages.

Just the title of the First Mage alone made his attacks twice as strong as other mages.

If he tried to hide it, he would inevitably get caught.

"Haha! Grandpa, this is something I learned while helping everyone form their circles."

"But don’t worry, you’ll be able to learn it too!"

Still standing in the air, Ethan turned to face Marcus, Alfred, and Adrian.

"Adrian, I need you to take over the guards to make sure nothing gets inside the shelter walls."

"Marcus, I need your scouts to be ready to report if the monsters’ patterns change or become strange."

"If they seem like they’re about to launch an attack, send a message immediately."

"The shelter as a whole is entering Code Red. Be prepared to move into the main air-raid bunker with all the residents if anything happens."

Pausing a moment, Ethan at this time seemed to have transformed into a true leader.

Laying out plan after plan for the maximum safety of everyone, he couldn’t afford to falter.

"Alfred, give a message to Elena and tell her about the current situation."

"If she threatens to follow us, tell her she can’t, that she has more important things to do."

"While also guiding the children and herself to break through to the second circle, she, Victoria, and Terry should join Adrian’s guards to protect the shelter."

"Let her know there’s a note by my bedside explaining many things about principles and the breakthrough process for the first and second circles."

"And lastly, make sure you tell her this: if she doesn’t break through to the second circle, even if she has two abilities, she’s but a burden."

Yes, although harsh, when he considered his sister’s ego, to stop her from sneaking out to join the raid,

he had to tell her this. Only by hearing this could he fuel her desire to break through and stay out of harm’s way.

"Grandpa and the veterans, from today, while everything is going on, right here in this room I will begin to teach you some spells and how to use mana."

"From now on, we will eat, sleep, and breathe here and here alone until I feel we have enough strength, or unless an emergency happens!"

Saying this, Ethan scanned them one by one, trying to see if anyone had any hesitation.

However, shocking or not, no one did, as they were all busy marveling at their newfound strength.

"Ethan, don’t worry about us; none of us know the meaning of the word surrender."

"As long as you teach us, we plan to display our full abilities!"

said Christian, to which the others nodded in agreement.

In this place, hidden away from the rest of the world, the first Mage Legion would be born—

a legion that would later be known as the Veteran Undying Legion.
