The sun and moon soon changed, and with Lucy’s breakthrough and everyone’s renewed zeal, committed not to be left behind, the next breakthrough happened!

And it was none other than Victoria, her breakthrough causing several meters around her to be directly frozen.

Next was Natasha, her breakthrough causing the surrounding space to ripple and teleport.

Then Terry, summoning two wind elementals which blew up a huge gust of wind.

There was also his aunt Emilia, who directly summoned a huge bubble of water as a result.

Even Elena, his sister, managed to break through to the 2nd Circle by understanding the Principle of Fighting.

Adding to her two other abilities, she was the true definition of the more she fought, the stronger she became.

And now, after two weeks, all twenty-five Awakeners had formed their 1st Circle, increasing the mage population as well as joining the main Global Mage Chat Group.

Fortunately, noticing that the number of mages was increasing, Ethan, using his authority over the Magic Web, had already created several sub-groups:

Global Mage Chat Group: For everyone linked to the web.

Veterans’ Group: For the original fifty-two 2nd-Circle mages.

Trainees’ Group: For the twenty-five newly awakened mages.

Only he, his grandpa, and Elena were in all three groups.

Now once again sitting in front of all his new mages, Ethan initiated the next step of his training plan.

"Alright then, everyone! I’m extremely proud, both as the Patriarch and as your teacher, to announce that everyone has successfully created their first circle!"

"And while these past two weeks have been hard on you all, I commend you for never giving up."

"With that said, you can stand proud and raise your heads knowing you are strong!"

Giving his speech, Ethan looked at everyone with extreme satisfaction.

Truth be told, he never expected it to be this fast, even his sister breaking through to the 2nd Circle!

You must know he helped her create her 1st Circle, so she should have had a harder time creating her second, yet she succeeded!

’Indeed, this just proves my observations are correct. Those with awakened abilities have a higher perception and affinity with mana, making it easier for them to become mages.’

’And people like my sister with two abilities just have their affinity doubled, making it even easier for her.’

Understanding this, Ethan sighed.

First it was Lucy, then Elena; it almost made him wonder why everyone around him was so broken apart from himself.

Completely forgetting that he not only possessed two outrageous abilities, but also had a unique system to himself.

Shaking his head, Ethan began to explain what was going to happen next.

"Alright then, everyone, since you’ve all awakened, our next training phase splits into two parts."

"One will be spell and combat training. A few instructors and I will teach you spells you can use with mana, as well as actual combat training."

"However, don’t worry, the training will be scaled to your age. Those on the younger side, like Terry and Lucy, won’t be trained as harshly as someone like Elena or Aunt Natasha."

Explaining this, Ethan then waved his hand, creating an illusion of the crystal cores floating above the floor.

"After this phase, a competition will be held among all twenty-five of you, with the top twelve getting enough crystals to upgrade their abilities to E-rank."

"Although I would have liked for everyone to increase their rank, unfortunately, the crystals are not enough, and it seems most of the monsters around us were gathered in that last attack."

Explaining this, Ethan sighed. Even though two weeks had passed, no matter how much their scouting teams searched, they couldn’t find any large monster groups.

It seemed that Lucian had gathered most of them, if not all, in that assault on the outskirts, leaving only the one hundred and thirty cores they had in their possession.

As such, considering it takes ten crystals to advance an ability tier, Ethan decided to use them as a source of training motivation.

Clap!

"Come in, everyone! Let them see their teachers!"

Clapping his hands, the doors of the training room swung open, revealing the veterans entering with broad smiles.

Some had hunchbacks, some held canes, and some seemed barely able to see.

However, their sheer presence and heavy mana pressure alone made no one dare utter a word.

Although the gap was just one circle level, the attribute difference was at least tenfold!

Even if everyone here gathered their strength, they wouldn’t be able to take down even a single veteran.

"Hey, you old men! Who are you pretending to be cool for? You’re scaring the kids!"

Cursing with a grin, Lauren stepped forward, her signature sniper rifle still slung across her back.

Looking at everyone in front of her, she gave a light bow to Ethan before taking the stage.

"Hello there, children! I’m sure a few of you have seen my name in the group chat, but this old lady is Lauren Laroche, The World’s Greatest Sniper."

"Beside me are people like An Old Man Who Almost Had It All, The Aging Sword Saint, and all the others."

"On the orders of the Patriarch, we are here to guide you and help you grow stronger."

Saying this, she turned to Elena with a smirk.

"Oh? If it isn’t Addicted to Fighting? This old lady heard you broke through to the second circle! Fighting Principle, was it? As expected of your nickname, the Magic Web does indeed not lie!"

"Adding to the fact that you’re E-rank now, perhaps this old lady is no longer your match!"

Hearing this, Elena couldn’t help but blush furiously.

Before this, she had asked Ethan if he could change her nickname many times; however, Ethan refused every time, saying it suited her best.

’Damn it, Brother! This is all your fault! Who the hell is "Addicted to Fighting"?! After this, no matter what, I’m getting you to change that name!’

Talking to herself, Elena silently made a vow.

And Ethan, who had no idea what was going through her mind, suddenly felt a cold chill run down his spine.

’Hm~ Who the hell is plotting against me?!’
