Chapter 2998 - 3001: Jiang Chen’s Ambition

Chapter 2998: Chapter 3001: Jiang Chen’s Ambition

The Void Nether Realm shook once again after Void Nether Academy swept through the Five Academies.

Changlin Academy will recruit new students after one year!

This news exploded like a bomb, causing a buzz across all forces in the Void Nether Realm.

Ever since Changlin Academy was established in the Battlefield Realm, numerous forces from the Five Continents have been trying to establish connections with Changlin Academy of Canglan Continent. However, since Jian Cangqiong returned to the Void Nether Realm and announced the closure of Changlin Academy, there hasn’t been any opportunity for the forces to approach.

Now that Changlin Academy is recruiting in one year, it’s a direct chance for those forces to enter Changlin Academy!

However, upon closer investigation, forces from the other Four Continents, except Canglan Continent, felt targeted.

The reason being, Changlin Academy’s recruitment in one year only accepts people from Canglan Continent.

This made the forces from the Four Continents anxious, prompting them to approach the Royal Family of the Four Continents, hoping to inquire why this was happening.

However, before the Royal Family of the Four Continents responded, subsequent news allowed the forces from the Four Continents to breathe a sigh of relief, yet leaving behind some confusion.

Changlin Academy announced that recruitment would occur continent by continent, with West Martial Continent being recruited two years later, Origin Continent in three years, followed by East Wilderness Continent and Beihan Continent.

Moreover, Changlin Academy issued a serious warning: No one from the Five Continents is allowed to masquerade as people from other continents to participate in assessments ahead of time. Once discovered, they’ll be expelled from the academy, never to be accepted again!

This baffled everyone across the Five Continents. But why split it up?

Meanwhile, some forces preparing for another event were the first to discover the reason, soon linking the protagonist of the previous incident, Void Nether Academy, back into the discussion.

What everyone discovered was that Changlin Academy’s recruitment followed challenges from Void Nether Academy annually. This year, Void Nether Academy challenges the Canglan Continent, leading Changlin Academy to recruit Canglan students a year later; next year, Void Nether Academy will challenge the West Martial Continent, prompting Changlin Academy to recruit West Martial students two years later, and so forth.

The recruitment criteria of Changlin Academy also surprised forces of the Five Continents, feeling it had some similarities with Void Nether Academy’s challenges. If it weren’t for Jiang Chen establishing Changlin Academy in the Battlefield Realm, which is well-known to all major forces, people might have thought Void Nether Academy was leading Changlin Academy.

"You sure are something, young man!"

In a standalone pavilion within Changling Academy, Zhao Buzu glared at Jiang Chen irritably.

After Jiang Chen proposed the merger conditions, Jian Potian and others left Changling Academy to prepare for expanding the Outer Court, while Tai Yuan and others urgently convened an academy meeting to discuss the matter. Jiang Chen and others stayed for a day, waiting for Tai Yuan’s decision.

"Jiang Chen, what you’re doing is making it so that during our next recruitment, we could directly pick from your Changlin Academy rather than searching all over for outstanding talents!"

Qiu Wenqing said with a gentle smile.

Jiang Chen smiled slightly and said softly, "Well, you can’t say that. There will still be people who look down on our Changlin Academy."

The recruitment rules Jiang Chen established indeed saved Void Nether Academy a lot of trouble in future recruitment.

Recruitment Rule One: Must reach the Void Refinement Realm.

This means, apart from students from Changlin Academy and those willing to go to Changlin Academy this time, no more students below the Void Refinement Realm will be recruited.

Recruitment Rule Two: Below fifty years old.

Recruitment Rule Three: After passing the academy’s recruitment assessment, the student must defeat someone within the same realm but older than themselves to enter the academy.

Recruitment Rule Four: Recruitment occurs once every ten years, with only one hundred people recruited per continent each time, and numbers from Void Refinement to Unity Realm Stage equally distributed. The Saint Realm is not recruited.

New academy regulations: The Saint Realm is considered graduation, and students may leave or stay to become Outer Court instructors. Those who successfully challenge Inner Court students of the same realm may become Inner Court students until they reach the Saint Monarch Realm and graduate thoroughly.

With this series of regulations issued, the next recruitment at Void Nether Academy likely won’t require much external recruitment.

"Mr Jiang has quite the appetite!"

Flame Emperor looked at Jiang Chen with profound meaning.

Jiang Chen smiled slightly without saying anything, knowing that people like Flame Emperor could see his intentions.

Once the recruitment system of Changlin Academy is perfected, over a hundred years, at least eighty percent of the elite from the entire Void Nether Realm will come from Changlin Academy. Changlin Academy holds the ticket to the Battlefield Realm, which no force can refuse.

As for subsequent and successive recruitments, the preparatory students of Void Nether Academy will likely be overwhelmingly from Changlin Academy, as its opportunities are unique, leaving no force willing to miss out.

In some time, elite powerhouses in the Void Nether Realm, including the strong individuals nurtured by Void Nether Academy, will all have a fondness for the educational connection with Changlin Academy.

Thus, Changlin Academy will become another unique presence after Void Nether Academy, with no force daring to provoke Changlin Academy, as offending it might mean inviting trouble with numerous powerful forces across the Void Nether Realm!

"Young Jiang, your idea is good, but it might be the source of danger; many might not want Changlin Academy to develop this way."

Zhao Buzu lightly reminded.

Currently in the pavilion were Flame Emperor, Zhao Buzu and others from Void Nether Academy, along with Jiang Chen. Si Huang’er and others were outside the pavilion in the forest, meditating and training.

"I understand!"

Jiang Chen nodded slightly, shrugged: "But as long as I live, those forces won’t dare touch Changlin Academy. Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind inviting seniors from the Domain Branch Institute at the Battlefield Realm to visit the Void Nether Realm for a while!"

Zhao Buzu and the others were slightly stunned, contemplated for a moment, and nodded gently.

"Indeed, in this way, your risk does increase!"

Flame Emperor said solemnly: "Jiang Chen, I hope you understand, Void Nether Academy can allow various super forces to open their cultivation Holy Lands because, aside from our powerful disciples being able to challenge and study at our academy, there is one very important aspect."

Flame Emperor paused, speaking word by word: "That Void Nether Academy doesn’t interfere in the struggles between the various forces of the Five Continents!

Even if the force of our students becomes a formal student, entering the spatial realm of Void Nether Academy, the academy will protect them thoroughly, but once they leave the space of the academy, even if they are slain outside, we will not seek vengeance.

Lastly, Flame Emperor said earnestly: "This has always been the rule, students must be independent outside."
