Chapter 3280: Chapter 1121

Since those deities possess no resistance at all against the consciousness of the Divine Realm, whether they sincerely wish to submit or not, when the orders are issued by the Divine Realm consciousness, those deities seemingly have no choice but to comply.

Thus, under the circumstance where the consciousness of the Divine Realm can almost entirely control the life and death of those deities, unless absolutely without any winning odds or vitality against Zhou Tian, given the situation, when those deities receive the Divine Realm consciousness’s order, regardless of their true feelings, they seemingly have no other choice but to obey.

"Kill!"

At that time, Zhou Tian killed a Divine King. However, in the eyes of the other deities, not to mention Zhou Tian’s actions appeared somewhat opportunistic; considering their situation at the time, those deities self-assessed that they held an absolute advantage against Zhou Tian. In such an environment, as long as they were careful not to give Zhou Tian a chance, those deities didn’t truly believe Zhou Tian could annihilate them completely.

And at this moment, since withdrawal is not an option, regardless of Zhou Tian’s formidable strength, those deities still wish to test their might and see if they have a chance to kill Zhou Tian.

Almost all deities shared the same thought as the deceased Divine King: if they could kill Zhou Tian, then given the Divine Realm consciousness’s emphasis on him, they would significantly benefit.

However, it’s evident that despite the circumstances those deities faced, they indeed had to fight Zhou Tian. Yet, if they believed their ability could surely defeat Zhou Tian, that would be underestimating their opponent.

Though Zhou Tian’s situation wasn’t ideal, he certainly wasn’t someone those deities could easily kill. Therefore, while Zhou Tian couldn’t easily win when facing those deities, it was equally challenging for the deities to defeat Zhou Tian.

While facing suppression from the Divine Realm consciousness, Zhou Tian wasn’t captured, but he was nonetheless greatly constrained to rid himself of the threat.

Under normal circumstances, due to Zhou Tian’s prior actions, it was fully likely the Divine Realm consciousness wouldn’t let him go easily. Thus, considering the relationship between both parties, surely given the opportunity, the Divine Realm consciousness wouldn’t rest until Zhou Tian is killed.

Despite the Divine Realm consciousness’s intention and capability to eliminate Zhou Tian, Zhou Tian not only wasn’t expelled from the Divine Realm but could kill deities right under their nose. This was due to his mastery of time rules originating from the Divine Realm, and the efforts Zhou Tian made covertly.

Even though Zhou Tian’s practiced time rules stemmed from the Divine Realm, and the Divine Realm consciousness couldn’t distinguish Zhou Tian from regular living beings, the actions Zhou Tian took were unfavorable to the Divine Realm. If the Divine Realm consciousness discerns Zhou Tian’s actions threaten the Divine Realm, no matter how Zhou Tian tries to hide, he remains at risk of being targeted.

In conclusion, to ensure his actions remain unaffected, Zhou Tian took corresponding actions.

While Zhou Tian employed his time ability against those deities, because it was from the Divine Realm, barring exceptional circumstances, the Divine Realm consciousness viewed Zhou Tian’s actions as internal strife. Thus, as long as Zhou Tian doesn’t take things too far, the Divine Realm consciousness likely wouldn’t interfere.

Simultaneously attacking those deities, Zhou Tian didn’t retract his other powers. To attract adequate attention from the Divine Realm consciousness, Zhou Tian persistently launched assaults on the Divine Realm, leading the Divine Realm consciousness to allocate most of its power to counter Zhou Tian’s other attacks, allowing Zhou Tian to use his time ability undeterred.

It’s believed that as long as Zhou Tian continues attacking the Divine Realm, regardless of how much time passes, the Divine Realm consciousness won’t notice what he achieves using the time ability. However, to attain such an effect, Zhou Tian must bear a cost.

How could the Divine Realm be so easily dealt with?

Although currently controlled by the Divine Realm consciousness rather than its full awareness, the Divine Realm retains its strength. At best, it’s said the Divine Realm consciousness lacks strong adaptive capacity and authority, thus unaware of the most efficient tactics in facing invasion from the outside world to win.

No matter how the Divine Realm consciousness proceeds, given the Divine Realm’s strength, Zhou Tian could hardly gain an advantage during his attacks. Essentially, with every attack, Zhou Tian incurred substantial costs, and if these attacks continued to an extreme, Zhou Tian might find himself unable to withstand such losses despite his foundation.

Therefore, looking at Zhou Tian’s actions at the time, his former arrangements achieved the desired effects; though if Zhou Tian truly wished to claim victory, he indeed needed to accelerate himself presently. Considering he continuously suffers losses corresponding to his actions, attaining victory sooner means he wouldn’t need to bear such unnecessary losses.
