He finished what he started.

Liam did not rush the last round. He kissed her while he pushed back inside slow, deep, her body taking him with a wet, spent ease that still clenched when he bottomed out.

Sandra moaned into his mouth, legs loose around his waist, hands roaming his back as if mapping something she would deny in daylight. The couch had become theirs: slick, ruined, honest.

Every stroke dragged through the mess of the night his cum, hers, the evidence of how many times he had already had her and still come back for more.

He fucked her in long strokes, forehead against hers, until the friction built again and her breath broke into small, helpless sounds that did not belong to the woman who ran his yard with a radio and a cold eye.

"One more," he murmured.

"I can’t"

"You can."He rubbed her clit with his thumb, steady and filthy, watching her face while he did it. Sandra’s eyes fluttered. Her mouth opened.

She fell apart a final time weaker, shaking, eyes wet at the corners, cunt fluttering around him in soft, prolonged pulses that milked him while she gasped against his lips.

Only then did he drive deep and empty into her again, quieter than before, holding her through every thick spurt while she clung to him and rode the aftershocks in silence. He stayed buried until the last tremor left her thighs.

When it was over they stayed joined until their breathing slowed. The office was a different room than the one the clerks knew. Desk askew. Tablet face-down on the floor.

Leather shining where her body had been. The fan still turned, useless against the heat they had made. Outside, the yard was a black stage of silent trucks and locked bays.

Inside, Sandra was the first to move. She pushed at his shoulder; he eased out. Cum leaked down her thigh onto the leather in a warm, inevitable line.

She stared at the ceiling for a long second, then sat up with the careful economy of a woman reclaiming her spine one vertebra at a time.

"Bathroom," she said.

He pointed. She walked naked across her own office ass marked faintly by his hands, the heavy sway of it still an argument even now, blouse forgotten on the floor and shut the door. Water ran.

When she came back her face was damp, her eyes clearer, and she dressed without looking at him until the last button, the professional silhouette rebuilding itself piece by piece.

Hair smoothed back into something that would pass under floodlights. Trousers fastened. Blouse closed to the throat. Tablet retrieved from the floor like a shield she had only temporarily set down.

Liam pulled his clothes on and watched her become Sandra-of-the-yard again, almost. The almost was in her mouth still swollen and in the careful way she did not sit on the ruined couch.

"Rules stand," she said. "Calendar. Feeds off. No summons like I’m a crate on the west route."

"Understood."

"And this" she gestured at the couch, the desk, the air still thick with sex and sweat "doesn’t change the board, the routes, or the fact that I will still tell you when you’re wrong on a contract. I don’t go soft because you fucked me through three rounds on my own inventory furniture."

"I would be disappointed if you did."

Something almost like a smile touched her mouth, then vanished before it could become evidence.

"Drive me home. My car’s in the shop. That’s the only reason you’re getting the address. Don’t file it under anything that isn’t logistics."

"I won’t need to file it."

"Smug doesn’t suit you either."

He drove. The industrial fringe gave way to quieter streets, warehouses thinning into blocks of flats and shuttered shops.

Sandra sat in the passenger seat with her bag on her lap, knees together, eyes on the road. She did not lean into him. She did not fill the silence with soft talk or post-mortems.

The dashboard light cut a line across her hands. When he stopped outside a low block of flats with a metal gate and a stairwell that smelled faintly of cooking oil and dust, she unbuckled and paused with her hand on the door.

"Next week," she said. "Put a time in. I’ll accept or I won’t. Don’t assume the desk and the couch are a standing arrangement."

"You’ll accept."

"Don’t get smug. It doesn’t suit the man who just ruined my couch and expects me to run his freight in the morning like my legs aren’t still shaking."

She stepped out, then bent slightly to look back in, one hand on the roof of the car. "And answer your other clock, whatever it is. You’ve been split since you came back from wherever you went.

I don’t need the details. I need the owner of my yard not half-absent when the west route bleeds. Signatures. Presence. The boring parts that keep men paid."

"I will."

She shut the door and went inside without waving. He watched until a light went on in a third-floor window, held for a moment, then steadied behind thin curtains. Only then did he pull away.

The villa was dark when he returned except for the perimeter lamps and a single glow from Jack’s wing.

He did not stop to talk. He went upstairs, stripped, and stood under the shower until the smell of her sex, sweat, the faint detergent of her blouse ran off his skin and down the drain.

He dried off, checked the calendar on his phone once before bed, and let the two clocks sit side by side on the screen.Coast call: marked. House number. Fixed day. Within a month.

Sandra: next week, time pending. Calendar. Feeds off. No summons.

Two clocks. Both running. Neither cancelled by the desk, the couch, or the way she had said don’t get smug with his cum still inside her and her professional voice already rebuilding itself in the passenger seat.

He slept.

In the morning the yard would be professional again. So would she radio on her belt, tablet in hand, ass moving under dark trousers as if the night had been a filing error she had already corrected.

And the list France on one side, the woman who walked like concrete belonged to her on the other would still be waiting for the next precise move, in daylight, with both hungers still sharp and neither of them finished.
