Vane could hardly believe what he was seeing.

He intended to bring them along on his expedition to Dimension O1452.

Strictly speaking, he could have handled the entire mission by himself.

But where was the fun in that?

Traveling alone was boring.

It was much better to bring a few companions so they’d have someone to talk to along the way.

The Emperor, who was currently serving as president of the Earth Federation, briefly handed over his responsibilities before joining Vane’s expedition.

Using his Dimensional Pickaxe, Vane effortlessly dug a tunnel leading directly to Dimension O1452.

Before long, the group arrived outside the apartment of a young woman named Eiko.

Eiko was in her early twenties.

She lived alone in a rundown apartment in Tokyo, where she led a lonely, uneventful, and rather miserable life.

She had moved to Tokyo over a year ago.

Unfortunately, things hadn’t gone remotely according to plan.

Bad luck seemed to follow her everywhere.

Her savings had completely dried up, and despite countless attempts, she still hadn’t managed to find a job.

At this point, she was so broke that she couldn’t even afford instant noodles.

Just as she was wallowing in her miserable circumstances…

Someone knocked on her worn-out apartment door.

“Who’s there?”

A young woman’s voice came from inside.

A thin, frail-looking Eiko appeared before the group.

She stared at the strangers standing outside her apartment, utterly confused.

Her gaze traveled across Vane, the Emperor, Daigo, Zero, and the others.

Finally, her eyes settled on Ibuki Mitsuishi.

“Isn’t that the girl the Mysterious Red Sphere was talking about… Megumi Iruma?”

“Oh my God!”

“A character from a story actually showing up in the real world?!”

“Isn’t that the kind of crazy plot twist you’d only see in some seventh-dimensional comic book?!”
