Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse
Chapter 165 Mecha Godzilla!
[Item: One-Shot Axe]
[Its creator originally intended to make a prank weapon but accidentally ended up creating an absurdly powerful divine artifact.]
[Attack Damage: 1]
[Despite its pitiful damage, the axe possesses an absolute one-hit-kill rule. This rule cannot be copied and is entirely unique.]
[It can erase any entity, completely removing the very concept of its existence at the source.]
[Evaluation: “Don’t even think about using this thing to clear mobs. Its ridiculously low damage will make you question your life choices.”]
“This thing sounds like it was practically designed to counter the Perfect Life-Form, IF.”
IF’s greatest ability was its power to perfectly replicate an opponent’s attacks and abilities.
The One-Shot Axe, however, dealt almost no conventional damage, while its absolute one-hit-kill effect couldn’t be copied.
It was the perfect counter.
“Did the system give me this as a special quest reward because it was worried I wouldn’t be able to deal with that thing?”
Vane considered the possibility for a moment before waving away the interface.
“Hey, Big E. Looks like we’ve got one hell of a fight ahead of us.”
“Our next opponent is the ultimate race of the universe—the Absolutians.”
“From what I’ve heard, their overall strength is comparable to the entire Land of Light, including all its Ultramen.”
The Emperor released his hold over space and time and spoke with absolute sincerity.
“Honored Traveler, I shall become your Sagittarius. Wherever you point, my blade shall follow.”
“Whether our enemies are the Absolutians or any other race, I shall defeat them all and claim victory in your name.”
Vane’s eyes immediately went wide.
The moment he heard that particular phrase, a shiver ran down his spine.
What the hell do you mean you’ll become my Sagittarius?!
Are you seriously trying to kick off another Horus Heresy right here?!
Keep talking like that, and I’ll have the Lion knock your old-man head clean off!
(TL/N: The Emperor once called Horus his “Dreadful Sagittary,” symbolizing his role as the Emperor’s greatest commander. Horus later betrayed him, starting the devastating Horus Heresy. Now that the Emperor is offering to become Vane’s “Sagittarius,” Vane jokingly fears he’ll suffer the same betrayal.)
“Are we going to war with the Absolutians?”
Zero suddenly jumped into the conversation, his voice brimming with excitement.
“I’ll send a message home right now and gather every warrior in the Land of Light who’s available to fight!”
Vane paused to consider the suggestion.
The Absolutians were a race of Ultimate Life Forms. Every member could grow to gigantic proportions and possessed various energy-based attacks.
Their overall military strength was no weaker than that of the Land of Light.
If Vane’s small group went in alone, they’d have to waste time clearing out enemy soldiers before reaching their actual targets.
But if the Land of Light joined the fight, its warriors could tie down most of the Absolutian forces.
That would leave Vane free to confront the King of the Absolutians directly.
“That’s actually a pretty good idea. With the Land of Light helping us, we won’t have to waste our time dealing with so much cannon fodder.”
“All right, we’ll split into two groups.”
“Zero, you and Ibuki head to the Land of Light and recruit as many willing fighters as you can.”
“Meanwhile, the Emperor, Daigo, and I will travel to other timelines and look for powerful warriors to join us.”
“Got it!”
Zero nodded.
With the Ultimate Aegis at his disposal, traveling between timelines would be quick and easy.
“Then let’s get moving. We’ll regroup at the Land of Light and launch our attack on the Absolutians from there.”
Zero took out his Ultra Eye.
A brilliant flash of light engulfed him, transforming him into the red, blue, and silver Ultraman.
After watching Ibuki transform into Ultraman Teo, Zero summoned the Ultimate Aegis.
The two Ultramen became streaks of light and shot off toward the Land of Light.
“Huh? You’re leaving already?”
Eiko watched the two giants disappear, her mouth hanging open.
“Yep. We’ve got other things to take care of.”
Vane reached into his inventory, pulled out a gold ingot, and offered it to her.
“Here, take this. Look after yourself and wait patiently for the Desire Grand Prix to begin.”
“This is way too valuable! I can’t accept it!”
The moment Eiko saw the gold ingot, her first instinct was to refuse.
“All right, then.”
Vane promptly put the gold ingot back into his inventory.
“Well, take care of yourself…”
“Wait…”
Eiko felt her heart sink.
Come on! You could at least try convincing me a couple more times!
Giving up that quickly is just depressing!
Of course, this didn’t mean Eiko was greedy or that she was deliberately playing hard to get.
She had simply spent so much of her life struggling with poverty that her instincts sometimes got the better of her.
“Anyway, take care of yourself. And this isn’t some random handout. It’s your reward for helping us capture the Red Sphere.”
Vane took the gold ingot back out and placed it in Eiko’s hands.
He then turned to Daigo and instructed him to return to Dimension B17, gather the members of the Earth Defense Force, and prepare for the coming battle against the King of the Absolutians.
After that, Vane retrieved his Dimensional Pickaxe and Item Locator Compass.
His next destination was the universe of Ultraman Gaia and Ultraman Agul.
Unlike the Ultramen of the Land of Light or those originating from other star systems, these two were manifestations of Earth’s own will.
Gaia represented the will of the land, while Agul represented the will of the oceans.
—
Earth, Timeline G1574.
The planet was currently facing an unprecedented catastrophe.
Countless monsters had descended from the sky and were wreaking havoc across the globe.
Humanity’s defensive lines were on the verge of collapse, and numerous cities had already been reduced to ruins.
Ultraman Gaia, transformed from Gamu Takayama, and Ultraman Agul, transformed from Hiroya Fujimiya, were desperately fighting against the invading monsters.
Just as they finally managed to defeat a particularly powerful enemy, a mysterious pillar of light appeared in the sky.
Then, before the eyes of everyone watching, a gigantic female angel slowly descended from the sky, her entire body wrapped in brilliant light.
A beautiful, solemn hymn accompanied her arrival.
This enormous, angelic figure was none other than the Radical Destruction Angel Zog.
The moment she appeared, the nearby monsters let out desperate roars before dissolving into countless particles of light.
Zog extended her hand.
A gentle radiance flowed from her palm, washing over Gaia and Agul.
Both Ultramen, whose Color Timers had been flashing red, instantly recovered all their energy.
Their Color Timers returned to white.
The sight stunned everyone on Earth.
Almost instinctively, humanity began to believe that this divine-looking angel had come to save them.
Unfortunately, everything Zog had done was nothing more than an elaborate performance designed to completely crush humanity’s confidence.
Deceived by the angel’s seemingly holy appearance, Ultraman Agul instinctively extended his hand and began walking toward her.
Step by step, he approached.
Then, without warning, Zog unleashed an incredibly powerful energy sphere.
BOOM!
In an instant, the attack sent Agul flying backward.
His enormous body smashed through countless human skyscrapers, reducing them to rubble.
“No…!”
Gaia was so shocked that he couldn’t immediately react.
Zog raised a single finger once again.
Countless arcs of blue electricity erupted around Agul’s body, lifting him helplessly into the sky.
Then she unleashed a terrifying bolt of lightning that struck him directly.
BOOOOM!
Agul plummeted back to Earth.
The impact shook the ground violently, instantly shattering numerous towering buildings.
Countless people watching the battle were overcome with grief for Ultraman Agul.
At the same time, Zog’s overwhelming power filled them with despair.
And that was exactly what she wanted.
She intended to make every human on Earth watch as she toyed with their beloved Ultramen like helpless puppets.
“HAAAH!”
Gaia roared in fury.
He charged straight toward Zog, gathering every last ounce of his strength.
Then he leaped into the air, preparing to unleash his most powerful attack.
Zog responded with a distinctly human laugh.
She brought her hands together and released an energy sphere more powerful than anything she had fired before.
The attack tore through the surrounding city.
Steel-reinforced concrete buildings collapsed instantly, exploding into countless fragments.
Gaia, who had been charging toward her, was struck head-on.
His enormous body was blasted hundreds of meters through the air before crashing violently into the ground.
The impact triggered a massive explosion and a terrifying earthquake-like tremor.
“Uh… What the hell? We just got here, and things are already this crazy?”
Vane had only just stepped out of the dimensional tunnel when he witnessed Gaia getting launched across the battlefield.
“What happened here?” the Emperor asked, looking genuinely confused.
“Beats me.”
Vane shook his head.
“The moment I arrived, I saw some monster beating the crap out of an Ultraman.”
“So what should we do?”
The Emperor turned toward Vane.
“Should we transform and help those two Ultramen?”
“Or do you have another plan?”
“No plan this time. Let’s just take down that angel first.”
Vane raised his hand and pointed at the Radical Destruction Angel Zog.
“Then I’ll handle her.”
The Emperor was just about to transform into Ultraman Atum when Vane stopped him.
“Hold on. Let me test out Godzilla’s new form first.”
Vane pulled out his Godzilla Summoner.
“When darkness falls, monsters run wild, and Earth is plunged into suffering, all living beings shall call upon your name!”
“Appear, King of the Monsters—Godzilla, Mecha Form!”
The moment he finished speaking, crimson lightning erupted across the battlefield.
The violent flashes immediately drew the attention of countless people across Earth.
Amid the raging crimson thunder, satellite broadcasts captured the arrival of an enormous monster standing over three hundred meters tall.
Its entire body was covered in mechanical armor, and all kinds of advanced artillery systems were mounted across its frame.
“A-another monster?!”
“Is there really no hope left for humanity?”
“Looks like Earth is seriously screwed. Screw it! I’m going streaking! I’m whipping out my junk! If I’m gonna die, I’m dying with no regrets!”
“…”
The appearance of Godzilla plunged countless people into even deeper despair.
A single monster disguised as a holy angel had already beaten Ultraman Gaia and Ultraman Agul so badly that neither could get back on his feet.
Now another monster had appeared, and this one was even more absurdly enormous.
As far as humanity was concerned, the two Ultramen had completely run out of hope.
Even Zog herself looked puzzled as she stared at the mechanical Godzilla.
She couldn’t understand where this terrifying monster, whose mere presence radiated such overwhelming pressure, had come from.
“Wait a second… Something’s not right about this Mechagodzilla!”
Vane stared at its appearance, thoroughly confused.
Hold on. I remember Mechagodzilla being just over sixty meters tall.
So why is mine over three hundred meters tall? And what’s with all those floating cannons?!
Wait… Don’t tell me this is the Nanometal Mechagodzilla designed to kill Godzilla Earth?!
The ordinary version of Mechagodzilla was built by Apex Cybernetics and stood just over sixty meters tall.
But Nanometal Mechagodzilla was an entirely different beast.
Developed by humanity with the assistance of the alien Bilusaludo, it was constructed from a special substance known as Nanometal.
This material could autonomously replicate, repair, and evolve itself.
It also allowed Mechagodzilla to wield a variety of advanced weapons capable of interstellar warfare.
Most importantly, this thing could evolve without limits.
It could analyze an enemy’s attack patterns and rapidly adapt, switching to whatever countermeasures were most effective against them.
Seeing Nanometal Mechagodzilla standing motionless, Zog extended a finger and unleashed a white beam filled with destructive energy.
Mechagodzilla’s defensive systems activated automatically.
A protective energy shield formed directly in front of its body, intercepting the beam and completely blocking the attack.
Only then did Vane snap out of his thoughts.
He raised his gaze toward the Radical Destruction Angel Zog.
“All right, then. Let’s see just how tough you really are.”
