Minecraft: The Conqueror of Multiverse
Chapter 30 The Great Rift Another Bonus
This is the bonus chapter for reaching 100 Powerstones.
— Vane formally received Sister-Commander Atalin.
Although she possessed the dreaded Pariah gene—a psychic blank that fundamentally repulsed all living beings—it had absolutely zero effect on him.
This profound lack of reaction genuinely shocked Atalin.
In her entire life, she had never encountered a single entity entirely immune to the suffocating aura of a Sister of Silence.
Ancient Ecclesiarchy texts recorded that when the God-Emperor walked among mortals, the original Sisters of Silence accompanied Him without issue.
It was widely accepted that the Master of Mankind was so metaphysically absolute that the null-field simply could not affect Him.
It appears this Forefather exists on a similarly transcendent plane of existence, she concluded silently.
As a gesture of goodwill, Vane casually gifted Atalin’s entire cadre a massive stockpile of elite wargear.
Furthermore, he explicitly promised to restore the Sisters of Silence to their rightful political standing, authority, and honor within the Imperium.
“We thank you for your benevolence, Forefather.” Atalin accepted the terms without a second’s hesitation.
She secretly swore an absolute oath of loyalty.
From this day forward, her allegiance to the Forefather would fundamentally supersede any loyalty she held toward the corrupt, rotting High Lords of Terra.
Shortly after the meeting, Dante and Seth quietly approached her.
They laid out their grand conspiracy: they would escort the Forefather to Holy Terra, weaponize the mandate of the masses, and forcefully crown him Regent of the Imperium to restore humanity’s glory.
“I support this initiative entirely,” Atalin nodded, not hesitating for a microsecond.
The Imperium of Man was currently standing on the precipice of annihilation.
In these dark times, humanity desperately required a being of the Forefather’s sheer, incomprehensible power to take the helm and drag them back from the abyss.
And from a purely pragmatic standpoint, placing the Forefather on the throne was the absolute best way to elevate the Sisters of Silence and permanently end their persecution.
Completely oblivious to the massive political coup currently being plotted behind his back, Vane concluded his meeting with Atalin and immediately retreated to his workshop to focus on upgrading his endgame gear.
His primary weapon, Enigma [Death’s Will], had finally absorbed enough souls to meet its upgrade requirements.
It could now be reforged into its ultimate form: Bloodletter [Carnage].
He placed the demonic katana onto the Altar of Apotheosis and initiated the forging process.
A moment later, Vane held Bloodletter [Carnage]—a weapon vastly more bloodthirsty than its predecessor, radiating a terrifying hunger for flesh and souls.
If Khorne saw this thing, he’d probably weep tears of pure joy.
Weapon sorted, Vane pivoted to overhauling his armor.
He had previously been running the Ignis Elytra Set.
While the defense was solid, the flight mechanics were great, and the localized AoE fire damage was fantastic for crowd control, he was about to start fighting heavily Warp-based enemies.
He desperately needed a set of armor with massive magic resistance to block psychic attacks.
After carefully reviewing his mod lists, Vane selected the Reaper of Souls set from a high-tier magic modpack.
Not only did this armor set provide absolute immunity to magical damage, but it also granted massive lifesteal, significantly boosted attack speed, strength, and stamina.
Most importantly, it could be infinitely leveled up at an Armor Upgrade Table.
For every five levels it gained, he could apply an additional broken modifier.
“Alright, let’s see…
Dark Steel Ingots, Arcane Soulstone Ingots, Dark Matter, Wraiths of the Deceased, Shadow Dragon Scales, Eternal Fire, Cosmic Fragments…” Following the crafting recipe perfectly, Vane exchanged his EMC points for the required raw materials and slammed them together on the crafting grid.
With a blinding flash of dark energy, the Reaper of Souls armor materialized.
He immediately equipped it.
A set of pitch-black and crimson plate armor, radiating a suffocating aura of pure, unadulterated hellfire, formed perfectly over his body.
“Awesome.
Looks ridiculously cool.
Once I get some free time, I’ll grind this thing to level 50, and I’ll be completely untouchable.” After running a few quick diagnostic tests to confirm the armor’s physics-breaking stats, Vane unequipped it.
The aura the armor passively radiated was far too oppressive and terrifying for casual, daily use.
Since he could swap loadouts instantly through his inventory anyway, there was no need to walk around looking like an apocalyptic raid boss 24/7.
With his armor and weapons optimized, Vane converted more EMC and crafted a Void Ring.
This was a highly unique, absurdly overpowered artifact from the Equivalent Exchange mod.
To make it, he first had to synthesize a Black Hole Band and an Archangel’s Smite.
Its mechanics were completely broken: it could passively generate a localized micro-black hole, violently absorbing any loose matter or entities in the vicinity, breaking them down into pure energy, and restructuring them.
He could literally toss useless garbage into the Void Ring and convert it into Gold, Diamonds, Dark Matter, and Red Matter.
On top of that, it granted the user unrestricted, instantaneous teleportation.
Vane was just about to continue crafting a few more overpowered accessories to further min-max his build when the universe suddenly shattered.
Across the entire Cryptus System, every single Astropath, Sanctioned Psyker, and latent psychic sensitive simultaneously collapsed, screaming in absolute, suffocating agony.
A catastrophic, crushing wave of pure Warp energy violently slammed into their minds, driving many of them instantly insane.
In the very next second, everyone in the system looked up and witnessed a scene they would never forget for the rest of their lives.
The star-studded tapestry of the night sky was violently, physically torn open by an invisible, incomprehensible force, revealing a jagged, bleeding rift that radiated a sickening, unholy purple light across the skies of Phodia.
The war against Hive Fleet Leviathan concluded in a manner literally no one could have predicted.
Just as the Hive Mind amassed its surviving bio-ships for a massive, final assault against Phodia…
A catastrophic, system-wide Aetheric storm violently erupted, completely drowning the sector in Warp energy.
The sheer intensity of the metaphysical shockwave instantly severed the Hive Mind’s synaptic control over the entire fleet.
Millions of Tyranid bio-ships and bio-forms were instantly disconnected from the synapse network.
Reverting to their primal, localized instincts, the swarm collapsed into absolute chaos, aggressively turning on one another in a frantic feeding frenzy.
Seizing the unprecedented opportunity, the Imperial fleet launched a massive, coordinated counter-offensive, systematically slaughtering the disorganized Tyranid bio-ships.
A small fraction of the bio-ships managed to flee the Cryptus System, but the vast majority were utterly annihilated by the Imperial armada.
The primary tendril of Hive Fleet Leviathan invading the Baal System had been officially broken.
Given enough time, they might eventually regroup and return.
But for today, humanity had achieved absolute victory.
However, the defeat of Leviathan did not signal the end of their struggle.
It was merely the opening act of an infinitely more terrifying apocalypse.
The moment Leviathan broke, a system prompt popped up in Vane’s vision.
[Congratulations!
Quest Completed.
Campaign Progress +10%.
Title Unlocked: Tyranid Slayer (Equip to passively project an aura of terror against all Tyranid bio-forms).] [New Campaign Quest Initiated: Recall all Loyal Primarchs, usher in the Era of Primarchs, and shatter the grand design of Abaddon and the four Chaos Gods.] [Quest Reward: 10% Campaign Progress.
Title Unlocked: Architect of the New Era.] Vane stepped out of his workshop and looked up at the sky, his eyes locking onto the bleeding, galactic-scale wound tearing across the stars.
“So, Cadia has finally fallen, hasn’t it?” Having read the lore, Vane knew exactly what he was looking at.
This was the catastrophic consequence of the Cadian Gate’s destruction.
Abaddon’s ten-thousand-year grand design had finally borne its sweetest, most apocalyptic fruit.
With the Cadian Pylons shattered, the Eye of Terror expanded infinitely.
Aetheric storms tore across the Milky Way at an incomprehensible speed, violently splitting the galaxy perfectly in half.
The Imperium of Man was physically severed.
The guiding light of the Astronomican was abruptly extinguished.
Countless worlds were instantaneously swallowed whole by the Warp.
The darkest, most terrifying era in human history—the End Times—had officially begun.
Vane could vividly picture Abaddon standing on the bridge of the Vengeful Spirit, hands on his hips, laughing maniacally as he declared: “The Era of the Primarchs is over!
Now begins the Era of Abaddon!” — “Forefather!” “Forefather!” The exact second Dante, Seth, and the other commanders registered the catastrophic mutation of the galaxy, they sprinted directly to Vane’s command center.
“Forefather!
The Emperor’s guiding light has vanished!
The Astronomican is gone!
What do we do?!
Is the Imperium falling?!” General Dhrost’s voice trembled with genuine, naked terror.
When his Astropaths had first reported the Astronomican’s failure, he had forced them to re-verify the reading three separate times before he dared to believe it.
Without the guiding light of the Astronomican, how were Imperial ships supposed to navigate the terrifying depths of the Warp?
This wasn’t just a crisis; this was the literal end of the Imperium of Man!
“Forefather, is the God-Emperor still with us?!
Or has He already…” Canoness Amity asked the single most terrifying question on everyone’s mind.
If the Astronomican had failed…
did that mean the God-Emperor had finally perished on the Golden Throne?
Had the enemy achieved total victory?
“How many times do I have to tell you people?
Stop panicking every time something goes wrong.
If the sky falls, I’m here to hold it up.” Vane glared at Dante and the others, sighing in profound disappointment at their lack of composure.
“Amity, God-Emperor is far too stubborn to die.
I guarantee you He is still sitting exactly where He was yesterday.
Stop worrying about nothing.” “The immediate, practical issue is that without the Astronomican, our ships cannot navigate the Warp.
We need to solve that bottleneck first.” “I’ll construct a localized beacon array to guide our fleet’s Warp jumps within the sector.” Vane paused for a moment before continuing.
“The Warp is actively aggressively bleeding into realspace on a galactic scale.
I am powerful, but I cannot be everywhere at once.
I cannot solve a galaxy-wide crisis entirely by myself.” “Given the current tactical reality, our only viable option is to recall every single surviving Loyal Primarch.
We need them to take command and stabilize the frontlines before the Imperium completely collapses.” The Milky Way was simply too massively expansive.
If he didn’t drag the Primarchs out of retirement to act as his generals, how long would it take him to finish the campaign?
His biggest concern was that if he just grabbed a weapon and charged head-first into the Warp hunting the Chaos Gods, he wouldn’t even be able to find their specific domains in the infinite madness.
Therefore, the most logical strategy was to recall the Primarchs, have them push the Chaos forces back, and then launch a coordinated, decisive strike against the Big Four.
“The Primarchs?
But they have been lost to myth for ten thousand years.
Can they truly be returned to us?” Sister-Commander Atalin asked softly.
“I mean, there’s literally one taking a nap right next door on Baal, isn’t there?
We’ll wake him up first, and then figure out the rest,” Vane shrugged casually.
“Can you…
can you truly bring the Great Angel back to us?!” Dante’s initial reaction was a surge of absolute, blinding ecstasy, immediately followed by profound skepticism.
Considering the absolute state Sanguinius’s body was currently in…
could he genuinely be resurrected?!
