Hearing Catherine’s name, Dora restrained herself a little.

She squatted down next to Lian. "So, when are you going to clean up my entries?"

"I can only clean up the red entries, and only when you’re Bordering on Loss of Control. You don’t have any negative statuses right now at all," Lian said in a low voice.

"Then how can I get a negative status?"

"By frequently using your Magic Power."

Dora sank into a depressed silence. She knew she couldn’t use her Magic Power frequently because she was the Disease Witch.

She could spread disease and Plague, but she couldn’t do that. It went against her very nature.

Seemingly noticing the Disease Witch’s distress, Lian comforted her, "If someone tries to assassinate me, you can use your Magic Power, right?"

"Who would assassinate you? If someone wanted to assassinate you, Mary wouldn’t have sent Nancy Scalia to seduce you," Dora mumbled, tossing aside the paintbrush in her hand.

"Don’t worry. We’ll enter Yusofa tomorrow. After we make contact with Mary, there will surely be opportunities to use your Magic Power. You don’t need to be so anxious. I really need to rest now."

"Then you sleep. I’ll stand guard right next to you, protecting you 24/7. If anyone gets close, I’ll use my Magic Power," Dora said, her eyes gleaming faintly.

Lian paid her no more mind and quickly fell asleep.

The next day, the morning light spilled over the white tents on the border of Yusofa, waking the sleeping people.

Lian opened his eyes and stretched.

Discovering that Dora was not lying beside him with her clothes in disarray, Lian breathed a sigh of relief.

Annie brought him a change of clothes and breakfast.

"Where’s Magic Box?"

As Lian washed the doodles off his face, he remembered the Miss Witch who had promised to protect him 24/7 last night, only to have vanished today. He couldn’t help but feel a little curious.

"She went to duel the members of the Rose Knight Order," Annie said, her expression calm.

"What?"

Lian rubbed the bridge of his nose. ’Is this Dora’s idea of how to get a negative status? Pick a fight with the Knight Order to burn through some Magic Power?’

’But isn’t that horribly inefficient?’

The Knights Nancy Stuart brought with her Rose Knight Order were basically all Three-star Knights. They were nowhere near enough for a Witch to wear herself out on.

"What reason did she give for dueling them?"

"She did it in Catherine’s name. She furiously accused Nancy Stuart of seducing you and becoming your mistress, then tried to attack her. This forced the members of the Knight Order to intervene and duel her for Nancy Stuart’s sake."

Annie recalled the scene, still finding it somewhat comical.

"What’s the situation now?"

"The members of the Rose Knight Order have probably all been beaten. If you don’t go soon, I’m afraid she’ll really attack Nancy Stuart."

Lian finished dressing, left his tent, and went with Annie to Nancy Stuart’s tent.

Outside the tent, the Rose Knights were lying collapsed all over the ground. Nancy Stuart and Dora had descended into a brawl, pulling each other’s hair.

This was not a scene befitting a battle between the Disease Witch and the Princess of the Fallen Kingdom.

Lian rubbed the bridge of his nose and had someone pull Dora and Nancy Stuart apart.

Adhering to the principle of seeing an act through to the end, and not wanting to let Dora’s performance go to waste, Lian sternly reprimanded Dora, "Miss Magic Box, apologize to Miss Nancy at once. Harming her is the same as harming me."

"Hmph! So she really did climb into your bed and become your mistress. How can you be so faithless? Your fiancée is still in Blue Moon Territory waiting for you to return."
