Chapter 117: Planning with Helen

[3rd POV]

Heading back towards Helen's office, Billie and Haley had signed a few more things for the students, not seeing any reasons to deny them. They had even signed someone's shirt, which they had custom made of Billie.

Billie got her contact because the shirt was very well made, with some art of Billie on it. All of it had been made by her, and that was impressive by itself. She was in the school primarily for art, so that made sense to her.

Walking into Helen's office, Billie immediately noticed that the principal had a huge grin on her face. She looked like she had just won the lottery or something.

Billie suspected that it was because of the reactions of the students.

"You look happy" Billie said with a small chuckle leaving her, as she sat down across from Helen.

"Well yeah! It's hard not to be happy after seeing how much my students enjoyed this! Not only that, but how well they have been acting thanks to your words and my own words before the show" Helen replied, already thinking of all the other things that she could plan, now that she knew that this could work.

That the kids were genuinely willing to hold themselves back and not tell others about the celebrity being there until after the school day was over.

Well, the school day was not over yet, but the kids would have already posted something about it by now if they could have.

The only person that Helen knew of that would probably end up telling others was Trina, Tori's older sister. Trina was...well, quite frankly not the brightest person in this world. She was kind of an idiot, and if there was anyone in the school that would point out the fact that Billie was there, it was Trina. Even if she didn't do it on purpose, she would find a way to do it.

It was honestly a miracle she was even at the school still. And the only reason she was, was because Tori had managed to keep her in the school. She didn't want to ruin her chances for a future, afterall.

Helen decided it was a good thing that Trina was not at school that day, otherwise this entire thing would have been ruined. And that would not have been fun to deal with. As it would have been very likely that Trina would have been in a LOT of trouble. Not just with her, but with her fellow students.

She would effectively have no choice but to defend and hide Trina's actions, as it was very likely that she would have been miserable otherwise, since the students would make sure to show her how much they hated what she did.

It was also why she would need to talk with Trina if they have Billie come back in the future, and if HD wants to teach a class like Billie did.

"Glad you're happy with it. I was uh...I was actually wondering if I could come back in the future? Maybe as a guest speaker every couple of weeks or so?" Billie asked, not hiding the hope on her face. She really did want to teach some more.

She liked it a lot more than she had been expecting, and was really wanting to do it again, even if it was only once in a while.

Helen looked at her in surprise, before her grin returned once more.

"Of course! I would love to have you come in here again to teach! That includes you as well, HD. It's pretty hard to get guest lecturers, so it would be great if we could have a regular. Especially one that all the kids LOVE to learn from. I don't think I have ever seen a lecturer get as much love as you" Helen replied as she brought out a few papers.

"I know that you probably can't agree just yet, because you might have some other things to do, but these papers are essentially agreements for becoming a regular guest lecturer" Helen explained, making Billie nod slowly.

"The guest lecturer spot is exactly what you would think it would be, and while I am not sure how open your schedule is, I'm putting it at once every two weeks. Not sure if that is okay or not, we can change it if need be" Helen continued.

"That's fine. There'll be months that I can't come in, since I do have a lot of other responsibilities" Billie replied, as she read over the contract. It wasn't actually anything serious or anything, it was more so to deal with any legal issues that might prop up.

Helen did NOT want to get sued by someone as popular as Billie, just as she did not want to have to sue Billie. So the contract was some simple stuff like how Billie would not be getting paid for this, and would be a regular guest lecturer. She would not be legally a teacher, and as such certain things a teacher can do, she cannot.

It was nothing serious or malicious, so Billie had no qualms signing it. She did leave it for now, as she'd have her lawyers look it over either way, just in case. Since she was not good when it comes to laws and such.

"I'll look it over later and get back to you on this. Pretty sure my lawyers would smack me if I signed a contract without them reading it over first" Billie said apologetically, which Helen just waved off.

"It's fine. You can just call me after the contract is signed and we can plan out when the next lecture will be" Helen replied. She didn't expect Billie to sign it right now, as legal stuff was hugely important, and someone like Billie had to be extra careful about what she signed.

"Great! Is there anything else you need me to do in order for me to be a guest lecturer again?" Billie asked. Helen shook her head.

"Nope, you have done everything that is needed" Helen replied, not thinking of anything else that was necessary.

"Awesome, now that that is over with, I think HD and I probably need to head out. But I'll make sure to give you a call once I have the contract signed, and then we can plan out when I'll be returning" Billie said, as she rose to her feet and reached her hand out.

Helen shook her hand with a bright smile on her face. She was showing her a great deal of respect, which in Helen's eyes was a greatly important thing to do with someone like Billie.

"I'll eagerly be waiting for the call, and truly, thank you for this incredible opportunity Billie" Helen said as Billie waved off her words.

"No need to thank me Helen, I really did love doing it. And I do hope you have a good rest of your day" Billie replied, before giving the woman a wave and soon leaving the room.

And as they left the room and began to head towards the exit of the school, Billie had only one thought on her mind.

'Time to head on home!'
