Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure

Chapter 1091 - 1090: New Life

"I didn’t ask Julian Ford."

Last night Julian was busy until very late; when we were on video call we only talked about little Anna, nothing else.

"The Chambers Family is definitely done for. Third Young Master Chambers fell down and even if they dragged him back up he’s pretty much as good as dead."

"It’s just Fiona Ford..."

Serena Sullivan looked at Finn Chandler and softened her voice. "Is The Ford Family going to let her off or..."

"No way!"

Finn’s voice rang out. "She’s the one who made little Anna suffer. Anna’s lying here like this—I can’t let her off."

"Even if The Ford Family wants to protect her, I’ll go after her to the very end."

Finn had it very clear in her mind: no matter how Mr. Ford begged this time, it was useless.

Even if Fiona got hit by Third Young Master Chambers and ended up in the hospital too, that doesn’t cancel out the fact she took little Anna away and made Anna wind up lying here.

"Yeah."

Serena responded; that was exactly what she thought too.

If The Ford Family wants to shield Fiona, she’ll use the power of The Sterling Family and The Grant Family to pursue this to the end.

They’d already given Fiona a chance. If it hadn’t been her, things wouldn’t have turned out like this today.

"It hurts!"

While the two of them were talking, a groan suddenly came from the bed. Finn and Serena immediately went quiet, and then came another "It really hurts."

It was Anna!

Finn shot to her feet. She’d been sitting there too long; when she suddenly got up, her legs gave out and she half-kneeled on the floor.

Serena didn’t have time to help her up. She rushed to the bed and gripped Anna Morgan’s hand.

"Anna!"

She called her name.

"It really hurts!"

Anna’s voice came again. The pain from her wounds made her eyes fill with tears that rolled down.

Serena hurriedly pressed the call button on the headboard, telling the doctor to come quickly and check on her.

Right after that, the door to the ward pushed open and Carter Lockwood rushed in first.

"She’s awake, right?"

He’d been smoking outside and hadn’t even finished his cigarette before running in; there were still ashes on his suit.

Ethan Grant followed behind and came to Serena’s side, reached out, wrapped an arm around her waist, and guided her to the other side.

"Anna!"

Carter called her again. Anna, who’d been crying out in pain, started to quiet down, and seeing that made his eyes redden with anxiety.

The doctor came very quickly, examined Anna Morgan from head to toe, then said with a smile, "Miss Monroe is awake. That means her overall condition is very optimistic."

"You can relax."

With the doctor saying that, everyone finally let out a breath.

Anna Morgan would be fully conscious very soon.

Things were finally turning around. Serena told Finn to go back and check on little Anna, and then get some proper rest.

Finn was already running way over her limit.

This time, Finn didn’t refuse. Now that Anna was okay, she wanted to go back and see little Anna.

"Serena, I’ll head over first."

As Finn left, she glanced at Carter Lockwood beside the bed.

There was no way they could talk Carter into going home.

Forget it. Let Carter stay with Anna.

Finn went back and saw little Anna. The normally noisy little one started crying in grievance as soon as she saw Finn, but in Finn’s arms he soon fell asleep.

Finn stayed with her lost-and-found little Anna and slept a very long sleep.

That sleep left her feeling kind of dazed and disoriented, and when she woke up, it was already dark outside.

Little Anna was still asleep in her arms. She looked at that beautiful little face, her heart turning soft, and she smiled as she bent to kiss little Anna’s forehead.

"Mommy will never dare lose you again."

If little Anna had really been gone, she honestly didn’t know what she would have done.

Have another child?

It still wouldn’t be little Anna!

"Anna’s woken up."

A voice suddenly sounded in the dim room; it was Julian Ford. Finn turned her head and saw the man standing by the window.

When had he come?

"Mm."

Finn answered softly. She looked at him, but the light in the room was too dim; she couldn’t make out Julian Ford’s features clearly.
